Chatting Cats: Tummy Ticklin’ Turkey #ChewyInfluencer

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. Furstly, I’s sure wanna fanky fank everypawdy fur their purrayers. Sis Dezi is feelin’ much better and availin’ herself of the pawtty box again. Mommy seems much happier ‘bout that too. I’s really gonna miss the slip slidey piddle pads all over the place. What fun!!! Mommy will purrobably be a lot happier ‘bout that too. Anyways…

RaenaBelle!!! We ain’t spendin’ a whole ‘nother posty meowin’ ‘bout me’s piddle issues. But, me really does ‘purreciate the purrayers. Now, we’ve got a review to write today.

Sure ‘nuff sissy. As most of ya’ know, we eat freeze dried noms on the regular. As anypawdy who has ever shopped freeze dried raw noms knows, it’s kind’a ‘spensive. ‘Course, mommy says ‘nuffin’ but the bestest fur her girls. We sure are Blest. Anyways, that bein’ said, we’re on a fixed income so mommy’s always lookin’ fur ways to save a few dollars while still purrvidin’ us with the bestest quality on the market. To do that, mommy mixes a couple of brands of freeze dried noms together. Mommy’s also always lookin’ fur new proteins fur us to try. While it might not be ideal fur us kitties to eat somethin’ different at every meal, it’s also not good fur us to eat only one food or protein. Ya’ never know when fur whatever reason (allergies, health problems, etc.), we might need to mix it up. So, we all got x’cited to see Stella and Chewy’s freeze dried cat food up fur review this month from Chewy.

This is a sponsored post. We received a 3.5 oz bag of food in exchange fur our honest opinion. As always, we tell it like we see it and only bring products we use or have tried and believe would be of interest to you, our readers and friends.

Yep Raena, we sure were. Me used to eat it all the time, till we got a few bags that had way too much bone in them and mommy saw that they were usin’ that bad vitamin K. But wait, savvy customers like mommy and most of ya’ll alerted the peeps at Stella & Chewy’s and they removed the bad stuffs from their noms in Feruary 2017. Now that’s the kind’a respawnse we’d all like to see from pet food manufacturers, ain’t it?

Yep sissy, it sure is. Anyways, as most of ya’ know, we luvs us some rabbit. Unfurtunately, mommy says rabbit is one of the most ‘spensive proteins on the market; so she has to supplement our rabbit with other proteins. That mostly means chicken, but Stella & Chewy’s make other proteins too: Salmon & Chicken, Duck, Duck, Goose, Tummy Ticklin’ Turkey, Sea-licious Salmon and Cod and of course, Chicken and our fave, Rabbit. They also have lots of flavors fur the woofies. You might ‘member that we luvs us some fureshly baked turkey tom lurkey, so mommy thought she’d get us a bag of that Stella & Chewy’s Tummy Ticklin’ Turkey to try. Let’s see what Chewy says ‘bout it:

See? They took out the Menadione Sodium Bisulfate Complex (Vit. K). There’s also none of that carrageenan or gums to worry ‘bout. Mommy does wish they would also take out all the “Sulfates” and use only the “Proteinates”. But hey, till she’s ready to make our food herself, nuffin’s gonna be purrfect, right?

True enuff sissy. Let’s get to the taste testin’. That’s mine’s favorote pawrt. We like small bites, so mommy had to break the little nuggets in half and add some water. I’s not a fan of the Tummy Ticklin’ Turkey. I’s would much rather have a freshly cooked turkey tom lurkey. But, I’s do like that the company lissens to it’s customers, so fur that reason me will give it 2 paws up. What ‘bout you sissy?

  1. I’m so-o glad that you are feeling good enough to use the litter box again, Deziz. Maybe Miss Audra can continue to keep one out for playtime though, ’cause they sound fun to pounce on. Mom wishes she could get me to eat that brand, but so far I’ve turned my nose up at it when she’s offered. I have lots of food allergies and stuffy noses, so Mom thinks that my sniffer may not be working at optimum levels to smell certain foods. The V-E-T is going to give me a “nasal wash” when I go in fur my teeth cleaning. Do you turn away from certain foods when you have stuffies? Hugs & luvs.

    1. Yep Valentine, I’s sure do. With mine’s eyes like they are, mine’s nose is stuffy a lot. Mommy really worried ’bout it fur the longest time. Truth is, she still worries, but she’s learned work arounds fur the food. She’s bought these kangaroo freeze dried treats that she mixes with our food. They smell really really, really strong. MOL She also sometimes mixes broth stead of water into our food. It smells stronger than water too. And of course, rabbit smells a bit stronger than say chicken or salmon or turkey. Ifin ya’ like tuna, your mommy could mix your fureeze dried nom with tuna juice, least till you started eatin’ it. Or top it with those bonito flakes. Bein’ a Persian, your nose is always gonna let ya’ down a bit so your mommy should look fur stronger smellin’ proteins to serve or find other ways to make the food smell. Good luck. Big hugs

      Luvs ya’
