Blest Sunday: Fathers And More

Hey everypawdy, it’s RaenaBelle, coming to you live on this very special Blest Sunday. To be honest, we think every day is special and Blest, but today is set aside to honor those special men called dads. We don’t actually have one, but we do have some amazing;y pawsum uncles. And of course, mommy does everything she can to make sure we’re not missing out on anything due to the lack of a daddy.

Yeah Raena, we are very Blest indeed. There are some really amazing men out there that give everything to being a daddy. A good dad is a Blessing from God, and we’re so thankful fur the wonderful men in our lives.

That we are sissy. So to all of you, we meow, Happy Father’s day. And, we made a little puzzle of our card that you can play here. On another note, as most of you know, we’re having car troubles yet again. And, along with it;’s mechanical issues, the a/c doesn’t work and the windows don’t roll down. That makes the car basically like an oven here in Southern Oklahoma.

Kittens Does it ever Raena. And cuz of that, mommy won’t take us with her, making it even more risky fur her to be out in the heat. She worries more about us than herself, and doesn’t want to risk us over heating.

Yeah sissy, as much as I’s want to be with mommy and take care of her, it can get really hot here. So, after much purrayer and discussion with a few furiends, we’ve decided to try to raise the money to get a good reliable car. Ya’ know, something that isn’t constantly breaking down and that has working a/c and windows. The car rental companies sell off retired cars below blue book. They’ve been well maintained and are in great shape. And, cuz of the COVID, they’ve got lots of cars to sell. Since we live on a fixed income, we don’t have the green papers to buy a car and make payments, so we’ve started a fundraiser and hope to raise the money to buy one outright.

Yeah Raena, we live in a town with less than 3,000 peeps, so purretty much everything is “out of town”. And, with mommy’s health being what it is, she can’t very well walk a block, much less 40 miles one way, and finding a ride isn’t always easy or feasible. Certainly not in an emergency situation, and so far she’s not had any luck finding someone who will help her get us to the V-E-T. So, having our own car is really a necessity.

We hate to have to ask, but, ifin you can help at all, we would certainly ‘purreciate it. We have attempted to make it as easy as pawssible fur peeps to donate. Thus, we have several options fur ya’. As always, you can send money directly to our paypal address: lexi.dezi@yahoo.com If you choose the option to send to furiends, there is no charge or fees associated with it. We also have a go fund me fundraiser here, and one on facebook here. There are fees and funds can take up to 3 weeks or more to process, but ifin you prefur this method, that’s great and why we created them.

We would like to say a meowsy big thank you to those who have donated so far. Thank you, awnty Renee, awnty Tonya, awnty Anonymous, awnty Rhonda, awnty Ava, awnty Pauline, awnty Jeanne, awnty Susan, and uncle Paul.

Well Raena, me’s gonna go link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies and then take a nap. Me heard the storms were coming back today. The sky’s been grumbling fur hours now.

  1. Years ago, I had several cars with no a/c! The first one had windows you had to roll down yourself (which was better than nothing, mind you – but a bit of a pain to roll them all down before leaving and when you parked) – and another with electronic windows that were great at first – but then stopped working – with no way to get the windows down manually! I understand the misery! Then again, given all my other blessings, it was truly a small price to pay! At the time, I wasn’t toting cats around – so it was just me that had to deal with it. I don’t know what I would’ve done if I had to tote cats along in Summer – I can definitely see why that would be super dangerous.

  2. Yikes! That car sounds like it does need replacing asap. We hopes that a blessing comes your way, maybe even a sponsorship deal so you can get a vehicle to get to the vets and shops. Lots of special Sunday purrs. We’ll be sending something to you direct as soon as we can.
