Hey Zebby, hurry up and come here. The big day is almost here and we’ve got to get ready.

 

         

          And what big day is this RaenaBelle? I’s don’t remember mommy talking about birthdays or anything, and Christmas is still over a month away.

 

Thanksgiving Zebby, Thanksgiving. (Raena rolls her eyes) Kittens, Can’t you remember anything?

 

 

          Okay…And now, what’s so special about Thanksgiving again?

 

Zebby! Y, Thanksgiving is the day we actually celebrate our Blessings. We Give Thanks fur things like living in a free country, having food in our bellies, a roof over our heads, and…

 

          Uh Yeah, don’t we do that everyday anyways?

 

 

Well yeah, we do, but this is a day fur everypawdy to do that. At least everypawdy in our country. It gets kind of confusing now that we have furiends all over the world. Some of them don’t celebrate at all, and some of them celebrate at different times. (Raena furrows her brow thinking about the confusion of all the different dates) Anyways, it’s a day when most peeps serve turkey and dressing, and pumpkin pies. Ya’ know, a day full of food, eating, family and good furiends. You should fur sure be able to get behind that.

 

 

          Food, Yea! So, are we having turkey and dressing and pumpkin pie?

 

Well, No. Mommy said she did look at the turkeys, but $50.00 was just too much money fur a silly bird. She did buy us a special treat tho’. We’re having alpaca and quail eggs. I’s even saw a bag of treats on the top shelf.

 

 

          So, is mommy gonna be eating alpaca with us?
