Well da wains came and da heavens gwumbled.  And  since wees kuldn’t get on da ‘putew fuw long, wees fawt wees wuld shawe a video of sis Lexi playin’ wiff da Cat’s Meow. Membew hers 15 yeaws old. Yous wuldn’t know it fwum dis  video. MOL

Mommy Cried

Well meez hopes yous all had a wunnewful Muddew’s day and welaxin’ weekend.  Meez knows yous all wunnewin’  ifin Lexi and meez made anuddew  “mess”  fuw mommy yesfuwday.  Yous know yous wunnewin’.  MOL   Well  meez knows dat evewpawdy finks wees weally smawt, and mommy sez wees awe; but we’s just cats.  So wees can’t wead a calendaw.  Da only way wees know is a  “special day”  is ifin  mommy makes a big fuss or sumfin.  So yesfuwday stawted out purretty much like evew uddew day wound hewe.  Mommy hasn’t been sleepin’ well, so wees hadn’t gone tu bed vewy eawly.  Or maybe meez shuld say wees went tu bed vewy eawly as it wus 6 a.m.  Sunday meownin’ and daylight wus alweady peakin’ fwu da blinds.  But wees all climbed intu bed tugeddew and snuggled fuw a foo houws.  While Lexi and meez ate bwekky mommy checked hers email.  Aftew chuwch Lexi and meez climbed intu mommys lap and wees got online.

 As mommy began weadin’ da comments and ow furiends postees wees suddenly wealised dat tuday wus ‘posed tu be a “special day“.  Mommy wead ow postees tu us and den da comments fwum all of yous, and hers stawted tu get da leaky eyes.  Now let meez tell ya’ when mommy gets da leaky eyes Lexi and meez like tu get all close and purr weally loud tu comfuwt hers.  Wees don’t know da diffewence ‘tween happy teaws and sad teaws, all wees know is dat mommys cwyin’.  Meez likes tu wipe mommys teaws wiff meez paws.  But it seemed da loudew wees purred and da mowe meez pawed at hers eyes da mowe mommy cwied.  And den mommy looked at Lexi and meez spillin’ out of hers lap and hers sed,  “My beautiful angel girls, I love you so much.  When I look at ya’ll I’m in total awe.  To think that such unconditional love and devotion could come in such small and miraculous packages.  I get such joy in just watching you sleep.  And seeing your sides rise and fall with each breath you take.  And seeing you twitch, and wondering what is it you dream of.  Do you dream of me holding you in my arms??  Do you dream of me kissing you and rubbing my face to yours??  Do you dream of me scratching your chin??  Do you dream of me??”   And #mommy cwied.

Lexi and mommy and meez wanna wish all da muddews out der a Happy Muddew’s Day.  No mattew wheddew yous hav hooman childwen or fuwwy childwen or boff, yous awe a muddew!!  Most any woman can giv biwff,  but dat dusn’t make a Muddew.  It’s Luv and acceptance and purrtection and givin’ and cawwin’, and so much mowe dat makes a Muddew.  Lexi and meez don’t weally know dat ow mommy isn’t just like us.  She’s da only muddew wees know and  wees fink she’s da bestest muddew in da univewse.  Wees know dat all of yous fink da same ’bout yous mommys.  Let yous mommy know what shes means tu yous wheddew fwu spoken wowds or purrs or cuddles or nose bumps and head bonks.  Whiskew kisses, hugs or just a look, let yous Muddew know how special shes is.

Mommys’ Little Purrtector

OMC  Meez is so happy and amazed at how many of yous wead ow innewview. 🙂  Fank yous all fuw all da nice fings yous sed ’bout meez and sis Lexi.  We’s still floatin’ on cloud nine.  Mommy tells us we’s special all da time, but dat’s what mommys awe supposed tu say.  Wees don’t feel any diffewent den any uddew kitty out der.  Okay, maybe sumtimes wees du.  Like last night, meez wus eatin’ meez noms and mommy wus sittin’ in da chaiw acwoss fwum meez and suddenly meez saw it.  Meez saw da bigest mostest scawiest spidew evew.  Mommy is tewwified of spidews and all bugs in genewal.  And den dat nasty ole spidew went tu cwawlin’ on mommys leg.  Mommy hadn’t felt it yet or hers wulda been a mess. MOL   So meeez dwopped da noms outta meez mouff, hissed and wanned ovew tu mommy.  Meez swatted and whopped dat ole spidew.  KaBoom!!! KaPow!!!  Whop!!!  Yous know how it’s dun.  A wight and a left and a wight again.   Mommy looked down and saw da Spidew (or what wus left of hims), and hers went nutso.  MOL  

Hers stawted skwiwmin’ and wigglin’ and skweemin’.   And den came da wewawd. 🙂  “Oh Dezi, thank you so much for saving me.  That was some kind of scary.”    And hers luvved on meez and kissed and hugged meez.  Meez just luvs gettin’ mommys luvvin’.   Aftew dat tho’ fuw da west of da night hers kep scwatchin’ and wubbin’ and sayin’ fings like hers kuld still feel da spidew cwawlin’ on hers.  But hims wusn’t cwawlin’ on anypawdy once meez finished wiff hims. Der wusn’t even nuff tu take a foto of. MOL   So meez put tugeddew dis foto tu show yous all how big dat ole spidew wus. (mol–meez may be stwetchin’ da size just a bit).   So anyways, Fank yous all again fuw weadin’, likin’ and commentin’ on meez innewview.  And welkum tu all meez new furiends.  Meez is so happy yous came by. Meez suwe hopes dat yous make it a habit and come back offen.  In da meantime Mommys Little Purrtectow  is sayin’; Til da nex time, Hav a Pawsum Catuwday!!!

Well Bacon and fozziemum awe at it again.
