WooHoo It’s July!!! Weez got big plans fur all of ya’ this mumff. Weez gunna be talkin’ ‘bout da diffewences tween Service Animals, Therapy Animals and Companion Animals in our Service Animal Series. And weez eeven gunna tell ya’ sum more of our twainin’ stories. And then we have sum gweat plans wiff sum of our furiends dat weez gunna keep unnew rap fur a little bit longer. Weez enterin’ purrawlly da loudest week of da year here in da U.S. cuz peeps all over be celebwatin’ da 4ff of July wiff fire boomers. Most everywhere it’s illegal to set these fings off in town, but peeps do it anyways, and most of us cats don’t like it one bit. Weez even have sum doggy furiends dat not like ‘em, so there’s gunna be purrlenty of hidin’ goin’ on this week. And since sum peeps not know how to tell time, there’s purrrawlly gunna be a lot of HBO words spoken by a lot of our hoomans when they can’t get any sleep. MOL

Yep, sissy me knows, but a lot of peeps do use ‘em. Anyways, lots of good fings comin’ up this mumff. Weez even lookin’ to move our bloggy so we can make a few dollaws. You know mommy’s not very techy so we fink she’s in over hers head just a bit here, but we learned so much at Blogpaws weez wanna put sum of those lessons in action.

And ibin weez gunna chaynj VETs din weez gunna habz too habz green payperz up frunt. Soz Dezi’z rite, weez gawt lawtz ov feengz kummin’ up.

 

And mommy and me has to get better at those twitter chats. MOL Yous shulda seen us last night. OMC Tweets was flyin’ everywhere and me and mommy was twyin’ wiff all our might to keep up, but OMC da Trout Town Tabbies might just be wight…Birds be too fast fur mommys old mind. MOL Sissy and me have been extwa chatty lately, and mommy even made a little video of her and sissy havin’ a conversation. Hope yous enjoy it. Paws Crossed…We’re Back

Well Sunday was a mawaffon copy day and mommy got everyfin’ put all togevver late. It was pawrtly Lexi and meez fawlt it took so long cuz we made hers stop and have a luv fest a kupple times. We was boff runnin’ a bit of a temp. And no call fwum da VET. So furst fing Monday meownin’ mommy called da VET at da office and was told Dr. C was on vacation and Dr. M was in surgery but they wuld have hers call us as soon as she got out. So mommy gwabbed da fone and put it in da basket on hers wheelchair and took da paperwork up to da office. Whew (wipes brow with paw) Now da weal fun work begins. A mumff of “they” won’t accept this, or “they” need this or that. Cuz nuffin’s ever easy wiff this manager. As most of you know weez lived here a very long time, and mommy used to manage pawrtments just like these a long time ago. So she knows what she needs to turn in and has always done it wiff no purrawllem till this manager. And cuz she wants mommy gone she has to pick on us every year. So faw she’s not been too bad this year, and dat’s fanks to da purrayers of all of you and dat she got in twubble last year fwum da Purresident and VP of da management company. So keep those purrayers comin’.

It was early afternoon when all this got finished, and still no call fwum da VET so mommy called over to da office again, and got da run wound ‘bout how busy they were and dat Dr. M hadn’t had a chance to make any calls but she wuld be callin’ us afur she went home. So mommy cleaned a bit and put all her “lease wenewal” copies on da shelf fur easy access ifin she needs ‘em, and sat down to help us stawrt visitin’ all our furiends. And…OMC we didn’t have any innewrnet. Awe yous kiddin’ me? It’s been goin’ down everyday here wecently, but here it was da middle of da day. So mommy gwabbed da iPaw and headed fur mr. W’s to use hims fone to call ATT and saw our neighbor out on da porch. Since she has a puter mommy asked ifin she had innewrnet and she sed, “Nope and I don’t have a phone either. I got cut off in the middle of a conversation. It just does this all the time and there’s nothing we can do but wait it out.” Well mommy’s not all dat good wiff waitin’ it out. But since nopawdy had a fone, mommy got hers cell fone (which usually dusn’t have service in da house) and went on a walk-about twyin’ to get a signal.

Signal acquired, mommy called ATT and an hour later was told da innewrnet wuld be back up in an hour or two. Dat was @ 5:30 yesfurday afternoon and we hadn’t had service since 3:30 p.m.. But there was nuffin’ else mommy kuld do but wait. We didn’t get service back till 7:30 this meownin’. OMC Was mommy ever fit to be tied. MOL But at least we got a lot of hugs and luv and mommy and us time while we had no innewrnet. Hopefully weez back now and can stawrt visitin’. So weez’ll be by to see ya’ in a bit. Mommy checked da voicemail when we finally had service again, and there was a message fwum da VET office fwum da office manager. She sed she pawlogized dat Dr. M hadn’t called us and dat it was hers fawlt cuz she never gave hers da message to call us. Dat was at 6:30 last night. Course we had no fone by then cuz of da innewrnets bein’ down. Well needless to say, mommy’s purretty angwy ‘bout dat situation too. We do hope yous Monday was more purrductive than ours. Weez boff be feelin’ better today so mommy hasn’t called da VET office yet. Hers not sure how she wants to handle this yet. So ifin yous kuld send a few purrayers dat Lexi and me continue to get better.

Blest Sunday Selfies

It’s Blest Sunday, our favowit day of da week. We hope yous enjoyed yous weekend and awe weady fur Monday. Course who’s ever weady fur Monday, wight? MOL Fank you all fur yous purrs and purrayers, meez feelin’ a bit better but still havin’ da loosey goosies and weez not heard fwum da VET. So ifin yous not mind, keep those purrayers comin’. Sis Lexi be duin’ gweat and she’s still eatin’ like a champ which makes mommy and me very happy. Mommy found all hers papers dat she needed so today will be a day of maraffon copyin’. Weez’ll be puttin’ dat machine fwu da test. And weez;ll be puttin’ da shwedder fwu it too as she found a lot of old papers dat can be fwown out.

Weez got a gweal blessin’ this week fwum Ms. Ellen and Phoebe. Weez got a package and when mommy saw who it was fwum she asked, “Girls, did y’all win something I didn’t know about?” Weez told hers no, cuz we haven’t won anyfin’ in a while. Well we have, but she knew ’bout dat. So mommy opened up da package and OMC Fank you. Mommy got sum of those pawsum made wiff luv dwyer balls. And let me tell ya’, mommy fwu ‘em in da dwyer this weekend, and they awe so much quieter than those nobby hawd plastic ones. And a side bonus is dat all da fur fwum da clothes and sheets gets twapped on ‘em and easily disposed of. We, Lexi and me got a pawsum straw each and Ms. Ellen and bootyful Phoebe included an extwa made wiff luv yawrn ball fur us. And weez can show our 4ff of July purride wiff our toof pick flags. And…OMC Sum of dat white gwass of our very own!!! Mommy planted it up fur us this weekend and we can’t wait till it spwouts so we can commence to nibblin’. We all luvved our package, fanks so much fur sendin’ it too us.

 

And member when we got home fwum da VET da udder day and had boxes waitin’ fur us? Well let me tell ya’, what a big ole blessin’ dat was. A kupple of them boxes sed Chewy wight there on ‘em. So you know they had to be good. Da boxes themselves awe pawsum. But inside was da biggest bag of Swheatscoop they make. WooHoo Fank you awnty Ann and da Highcats. Weez weally purreciate da big ole bag o’ litter and da noms. There was also a case of da EVO 95% meat noms and a case of Canidae noms. Kittens, how blest can these 2 girly’s be?. There was a furd box, but weez’ll be fillin’ ya’ in on dat pawsumness in July. And believe me, yous don’t wanna miss it.

Don’t Touch Me There

Meowllo everypawdy and happy Caturday. As you know since me isn’t “sick” mommy let da VET give me da rabies vaccination. Me always has a small weaction to da vaccinations, but this year meez weally not duin’ so good. Him’s usin’ a diffewent kind dat’s posed to be better fur us kitties, but it seems to have me all tore up. Me is runnin’ a bit of a fever and me has da runs weally bad. It’s  been over a week now and me hasn’t had a weal poopy since da shot. Me goes to da pawdee bos 20 to 30 times a day to depawsit a little puddle of poo. Mommy sez it’s liquid and heavy and sinks all da way to da bottom of da box fwu 4 inches of litter. And meez bloomers get all dirty and stinky so mommy has to clean me up. This has been goin’ on so long meez hiney-bo is sore.  And me be tellin’ mommy, Hissss Don’t Touch Me There anymore mommy. So meez wanted to ask you ifin yous wuldn’t mind sendin’ sum purrs and purrayers meez way. Me wants to say fank you in advance. Oh and it’s stowrmin’ again. MOL Weez gunna fall off into da ocean afur long.
