MeOW RaenaBelle, hurry up, it’s Blest Sunday. What are you doin’ anyways? You know it’s time to count our Blessings, so get the lead out!!!

Raena: Sheesh sissy, chill out. What’s gotten into you? And what’s lead and where is it? I’s don’t have any lead, I’s all fur and goodness.

Yeah, sure you are, Raena. Get the lead out is just another one of those silly human x’pressions that’s s’posed to mean hurry up.

So in other words, you just meowed hurry up twice? Like I’s didn’t hear ya’ the furst time. Anyways, what’s up with you; Peein’ everywhere but the pawtty box? Furst you started hollerin’ fur mommy to come carry ya’ to the pawtty box and then ya’ just started peein’ where ya’ stand? I’s mean, really? It’s not very ladycat like, ya’ know?. Have you furgotten that we’re like extra clean and super duper smart? Not to mention, gawjus?

Why don’t you quit tellin’ tales on me and worry ‘bout yourself. Here it is summer time and ‘stead of hangin’ out and watchin’ purrime time on nature teevee from your purrch, you’re sleepin’ the day away in the pawtty box room. Who does that?

Well sissy, the sink in there’s nice and cool. And it’s been really hot ‘round here lately.

You’re right ‘bout that, Raena. We’ve definitely had the hots this past week. Mommy says it’s only gonna get hotter, so me guesses we better get used to it. ‘Course, that brings me to the furst Blessin’ me’s grateful fur this week, air conditioning. We don’t have to try to find a cool spot, the whole house is a cool spot.

That’s so true sissy. And we’ve got purrlenty to eat, and a mommy who luvs us unconditionally. We sure are Blest kitties. I’s mean, did you see all the noms we got? ‘Pawrently there was a sale, so mommy stocked up on one of our faves, Primal freeze dried rabbit.

Yep Raena, me saw it. And, she just ordered 2 big o’le bags of litter. She says it was on sale fur half purrice.

That’s great sissy, but maybe ‘stead of buyin’ litter, she should’a stocked up on piddle pads.

Well Raena, maybe me’s peein’ outside of the pawtty box has somethin’ to do with that stinky purrfumed clay litter we tried out last month. Mommy plans on throwin’ it out when our new litter gets here.

What x’cuse are ya’ gonna use then sissy? Ya’ know, when you still pee on the floor?

Why don’t you not worry ‘bout it Raena. Hmmmpht Besides, me used the piddle pad, not the floor. So, what’s the furst Blessing you wanna count this week?

Well sissy, like always, I’s wanna give fanky fanks fur all our amazin’ furiends. Last week we posted a give away and asked our furiends to nominate their favorite shelters to receive a Cat Amazing Shelter Kit of their own. Fanky fank you all fur your nominations. We put all the names into Random Picker and asked it to choose a winner. The lucky shelter that will be receiving an amazin’ purrize is Safe Haven for Cats in Raleigh North Carolina. We hope they enjoy their Cat Amazing as much as we do. We have the most wonderful and generous furiends in the universe. I’s can’t ‘magine life without ‘em, can you?

Yeah Raena, Furiends are always a great Blessing, and you’re right, ours are the greatest. Every day we ask God to Bless them and their families.

Ya’ know sissy, I’s been thinkin’…

Oh No Raena, don’t let your head explode. When you start thinkin’, somehow, we always seem to get into trouble. What do ya’ say we do less thinkin’ and take a nice afternoon nap?. Maybe we can play when it cools off some. Me seems to ‘member we got a new toy this week. Mommy hasn’t takin’ it outta the box yet, but it’s s’posed to be guaranteed to appeal to our sense of kitty adventure.

Really sissy? Then how can you take a nap, knowin’ we have a new toy that we haven’t even seen yet? Where is it? I’s wanna see the new toy now!!! You can nap ifin ya’ want, but I’s gonna go have a little chat with mommy.

Blest Sunday: Cat Amazing Cat Daddies

Dezi: MeOW C’mon Raena, it’s Blest Sunday. And, it’s Father’s day, we’ve gotta celebrate.

Raena: Father’s day? Is this another special day fur mommy? Are we s’posed to be doin’ somethin’ nice fur her? Cuz ya’ know ifin we are, you already spoiled it when she had to get up befur she even got to have one sip of her meownin’ coffee.

Yeah, well, we hadn’t started celebratin’ yet Raena. Anyways, we do celebrate mommy today but that’s only cuz we don’t actually have one of those daddy’s.

So, this is a holiday fur men. What ‘bout all our uncles, sissy? Are we celebratin’ them too?

Yep Raena, we are. Like with mother’s, bein’ a father is somethin’ to be celebrated whether your kids have 2 legs and skin or 4 legs and fur. Traditionally, the father did the suppurrtin’ of the family and were offen the heavy hand when it came to discipline. But times, they are a changin’, and there are more and more single family households where the mother or father have to be both. So to all the Fathers, Uncles and other men, Happy Father’s day. And to all those fillin’ the shoes of a Father, Thank you fur steppin’ up.

Hey sissy, since we’re celebratin’ men today, why don’t we celebrate the cat man who came up with the Cat Amazing Puzzle Toy? Ya’ know, it ain’t just women who luvs us kitties. The world is full of feline luvvin’ men. We should know, we’ve got some really amazin’ uncles.

That’s true Raena, and me thinks today’s a great day to meow ‘bout the Cat Amazing Puzzle Toy. Andrey is the cat guy behind this great puzzle toy. But, he does more that just make a great eco-furiendly puzzle box, he also gives back to shelters and rescues with his Shelter and Rescue Enrichment Progam. Shelters can apply to receive their very own Cat Amazing Puzzle Toys complete with educational play guides and discounts fur new cat adoptive pawrents. You know how much we luv it when a company gives back and tries to help those kitties in need.

We sure do sissy. That’s why we had to meow to everypawdy ‘bout this. Stay tuned, cuz we’ve got a couple of great surpurrises fur everypawdy at the end of this posty. Furst, I’s wanna meow ‘bout the Cat Amazing Puzzle Box. It arrived in a really cute flat package. That meant there would be some assembly required.

Yep Raena, and that’s not always a good thing. We don’t have any thumbs and sometimes all mommy has is thumbs. MOL Anyways, she furinally got the Puzzle put together and looked fur just the right toy to hide in it.

Yeah sissy, the instructions say you can hide treats or toys in it to make us kitties wanna play with it. We don’t get a lot of treats, so makin’ us hunt fur them isn’t somethin’ we’re all that innerested in. But, we do luvs toys with balls, ‘specially those lighted flashin’ balls. Just so happens, we had an extra one layin’ ‘round that mommy could put in there.

Yep Raena, the Cat Amazing has 3 difficulty levels, dependin’ on your kitty’s purr-efurence. All kitties are smart, so none of the levels are too hard fur us. We purrsonally think this toy is great fur kittens and those extra curious kitties. Me purrfurs a roll with a good nip toy, but Raena…OMC she just doesn’t stop.

I’s not sure ifin you’re bein’ naughty or nice sissy? However, I’s do enjoy boppin’ the flashy ball ‘round inside the Cat Amazng puzzle box. So, we were really happy when Andrey said he’d let us give away a couple Puzzle boxes to our American furiends and even send one of those cool Shelter Enrichment kits to the shelter/rescue of our choice.

Sure ‘nuff Raena. And, we’ve decided to let all of our furiends choose the Shelter/rescue who will receive this pawsum kit. So, we’re askin’ all of you to nominate the shelter/rescue you’d like to see receive the kit. We’ll take nominations thru Caturday 6/23/2018. Purrlease only nominate shelters/rescues in the U.S.A. and that you can purrvide shippin’ infurmation fur. Then we’ll put those names in a random drawing and pick the winnin’ shelter.

Oh sissy, I’s so x’cited. I’s can’t hardly wait to see who’s shelter’s gonna win. Blest Sunday: Garage Sales Ain’t All That

MeOW C’mon RaenaBelle, it’s Blest Sunday. Me’s thinkin’ we might have to type our own posty today. Me doesn’t think me’s ever seen mommy this wiped out. Well, x’cept maybe that time she got so sick she could hardly function. Me keeps tellin’ her she’s gettin’ to old fur these all nighters. They’re fur the young and dumb, not the old and crazy.

That’s not nice, sissy. Mommy’s not crazy…much. But you’re right, she is wiped out. She spent all night Fursday and all of Furiday into Caturday meownin’ tryin’ to get things set up fur the garage sale. Only to find out there was no ads placed in any of the newspapers ‘round here. She couldn’t believe it. But since everythin’ was already out and she hadn’t slept, she decided to hope and purray that somepawdy would come by.

Yep Raena, and we did have a few customers. So, me guesses that’s a blessin’.

How would you know sissy, you spent the whole day hidin’ out?. Even when the sale was over and momnmy called fur ya’ still you hid out. What ifin mommy had really needed you?

Me wasn’t hidin’ Raena, me was just takin’ a nice long nap in the quietest place me could find. Could me help it ifin it was unner the table behind a bunch of stuff? Me knew mommy was fine, me could hear it in her voice. Besides, she had you. You sat at the front door actin’ like the welcomin’ committee. It’s so, so, it’s so embarrassin’ and un-cat-like. Dogs wait at the door waggin’ their tails waitin’ to hump anypawdy that walks up, not kitties. Kitties are s’posed to hiss and run fur cover, and only come out once we know the stranger isn’t a stranger. Sometimes me’s just wonders where you learned to be a cat at?.

Oh sissy, you don’t always run from peeps at the door. I’s learned everythin’ I’s know from you.

Don’t meow that, Raena. That’s why it’s so embarrassin’, cuz me knows you’re gonna blame it on me. Hmmmpht Anyways, how did it go at the V-E-T the other day? Cuz of the garage sale, we haven’t posted since last Wednesday. We even missed our Service Cat Furiday post. Mommy was so exhausted she couldn’t even help us write a posty.

Well sissy, I’s wasn’t none too happy bein’ there. It was stormin’ like crazy all that day. T’ween the radio and mommy’s new smarty pants fone, the beepin’ and screechin’ was horrible. Like we couldn’t see we were in the middle of a storm?. Hmmmpht Anyways, the V-E-T said the yellow and green goop wasn’t normal, but she told mommy to put regular saline drops in mine’s eyes 3 – 4 times a day fur a month. Ifin there’s still no change, we’d give those antibiotic/steroid drops a try fur a whole month ‘stead of just 2 weeks and hopefully knock out the infection once and fur all. Needless to meow, mommy’s not real purrleased with the V-E-T’s recommendations. She never really is. They did say that mine’s eyes didn’t appear to be in any danger of goin’ blind or nuffin’ like that. So, that’s ‘bout it, we came straight home cuz mommy knew you were home alone durin’ those nasty storms and she had lots to do fur the weekend.

Well, guess it’s good that you’re not gonna go blind, Raena. Ya’ know, Furiday was your 2nd Gotchaday, and well, we just had too much goin’ on to really celebrate. So, me and mommy are plannin’ a big bash fur ya’ on the last Tuesday of this month (6/26). All our furiends are invited. Anyways, we better wrap it up fur today and go and check on mommy. Despite the fact that our week didn’t go quite as planned, we’re still Blest. We have each other and all of you. We wouldn’t change that fur anythin’ in this world. As always, we’d like to remind you all to take a minute today and everyday to give thanks fur the Blessings in your lives.

Blest Sunday: Sisterly Meanderings

MeOW C’mon RaenaBelle, it’s Blest Sunday. And do we ever have the Blessings to give Fanks fur. Me just luvs givin’ Fanks, don’t you?

Yep sissy, I’s do, cuz it means we have another day to lives and luvs. Looks like Summer arrived and kicked Spring on down the road. I’s guess that’s okay tho’, mommy said Spring wouldn’t be stayin’ long. It’s turned really hot and there’s been lots of fun teevee to watch from mine’s purrch. Y, I’s saw birdy’s and wasps and bunnies last week. Mommy says the waspys are dangerous and she’s always sprayin’ somethin’ outside to make ‘em go away. They must not be too smart tho’, cuz they just keep comin’ back fur more.

Yep Raena, mommy’s ‘lergic to waspys, so that’s why she’s always tryin’ to shoo ‘em off. Now where did you see those bunnies? Me didn’t see any bunnies.

They were right outside sissy, eatin’ the grass and flowers. There’ll be more bunnies to see, don’t worry summer’s furinally here. In the meantime, we oughtta give fanky fanks fur the nice weather and all our furiends.

Me is fankful fur the nice warm weather Raena. And of course me’s always fankful fur our furiends. Meowin’ of furiends, mommy got a birthday card last week from awnty Mary Beth and uncle Garth. And they also included a card from Gizmo and the rest of the furry family. Mommy thought that was just the sweetest thing ever.

Ain’t that the truth sissy?. She also got a card and some green papers yesfurday from one of our Anonymous awnties, that made her smile. Actually, I’s think it was more of a big o’l grin rather than a smile. Mommy’s kind’a embarrassed right now cuz she doesn’t have a tooth in her mouth.

Oh Raena meowin’ of mommy’s toothlessness, she had furgotten till recently that she had to renew her driver’s license befur the end of May. Ya’ know license fotos aren’t meant to be purrtraits, but mommy’s always gotten all purrettied up fur the foto anyways. Ya’ know she paints her face and fixes her hair and gets ready to pose and smile her big teeth showin’ smile. But, this year she doesn’t have any teeth fur that smile, so when she sat down to have her foto taken, all she could do was grin. She looks so funny, kind’a like a blowfish or somethin’.

Sissy, that’s not very nice of you to compare mommy to a blowfish. Besides, how do you even know what a blowfish looks like?

C’mon Raena, mommy knows she looks funny without any teethies. Her lips have all but disappeared. She keeps pushin’ ‘em out cuz she says skinny lips mean she’s gettin’ old. And you know how much mommy hates lookin’ old. MOL

That’s the truth sissy, she blames every wrinkle and gray hair on us. I’s can’t ‘magine why she would even think such a thing.

Me neither Raena. Oh well, we’ll think ‘bout that tomorrow. Me wonders how many of our furiends might be the cause of their peeps wrinkles and gray hairs? Anyways, we wanna Fank all our furiends fur their luv and fur sharin’ their lives with us.
