It’s time fur another Blest Sunday. Hope you all enjoyed me’s quote challenge. We sure have enjoyed readin’ others posts and have even learned a few new quotes. Anyways, today will be short and sweet cuz me knows a lot of ya’ watch dat ball game called da Super Bowl. Now we aren’t into sports here at our house so we don’t have a clue ‘bout who be playin’ what, but we do like a little kitten bowl. And we even went on over to da Hallmark site and made us up a kupple playin’ cards.
We’s got sum good things comin’ up this month. A few educational posts thrown in cuz it’s National Cat Health, Spay and Neuter and Pet Dental Month. And of course we have sum gweat reviews comin’ your way too. Our Blogoversary is this month; February 18th to be exact. We are so excited to be a part of the bloggin’ community and honored to be in da company of so many pawsum writers and furiends. We are so blest to have you all in our lives. So dat’s a little look into what’s comin’ up.
Me wuld like to ask you fur sum purrayers fur sis Lexi. She started havin’ sum pee purroblems last night and isn’t feelin’ real good today. When we see da blood in da urine we know sissy must be in sum pain and it breaks our hearts dat we can’t just take it away and make her feel better right away. But God can, and we purreciate all da purrs and purrayers we can get.
We’s also joinin’ da Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies today. Me’s gunna wrap it up now so you can get back to your bowl game. Mommy’s gunna be caterin’ to sissy today so we’ll be by to visit as soon as we can.
Meowllo everypawdy, weez here. Mommy’s been tryin’ to relax and rest up after sis Lexi’s 36 hour throw up fest, but she sed we wasn’t missin’ 2 Blest Sundays in a row. Cuz no matter how bad things might get, or what’s goin’ on, weez still blest and me wants to meow ‘bout it. As ya’ know we find blessings in everything. We are blest to have all of you in our lives, and we are blest to have each other and a warm home full of luv. But we also received a kupple material blessings this past week. And we are so thankful to those who blest us.
Furst up is our new pawsum humidifier. Ifin you’ll recall, sis Lexi recently had to go to da VET and hers skin was dry and flakey; leavin’ depawsits of white dandruff all over her black furs. and of course da itchy ripple skins. Our humidifer broke a few years ago and mommy just didn’t have da money to buy another one, so we just dealt with da dryness as bestest we kuld. Well, one of our pawsum awnties sent us money to buy a new one and it arrived this week. Mommy got it all set up and placed on da vanity beside da bed where Lexi likes to sleep away da day. Within 24 hours da skin ripplin’ stopped and we all kuld breathe a little easier. Fank you so much awnty Anonymous, we reallly purreciate and luv our new humidifier.
But dat’s not da only material blessin’ we got this week. We also received 2 bags of da Primal freeze dried noms weez been eatin’. You all know mommy changed me’s noms recently, and she’s workin’ hard to get us to an all natural, species appropriate raw diet. Altho’ she sed ifin da freeze dried raw is where me draws da line, she can live wiff dat. She sez it ain’t purrfect, but it’s close. Course it be spensive, but as you know mommy will do whatever it takes to keep us healthy, so it’s really nice to have received 2 bags. Fank you soooooo much LouLou and awnty Suzanne. And hey, ifin you like gawjus kitties, good food and breads, you need to check out hers bloggy. She posted a gweat pizza recipe da other day, and she also has a recipe book out. You know pizza be our favorite human food so weez been meowin’ at mommy to make us one. We even purromissed to share.

We woke up this meownin’ to a parkin’ lot full of emergency vehicles and da ambulance. They left wiff an empty stretcher so all must be well. Mommy sez we are very blest dat none of those peeps was here fur us. And we have sum sunshine today and a little warmer temps out so me’s hopin’ to talk mommy into a stroll later on. Oh meow it’s da furst Blest Sunday of da New Year. Our furst blessing to give thanks fur is dat we are all still here to spend it together. Dat’s a huge blessing of course. Me wuld also like to take a minute and pawlogize to meez furiends on Blogger. Pawently there was a weather phenomenon on Furiday dat messed wiff sum lectronics and well, we can’t comment. We keep gettin’ told our Open ID can’t be verified. This happened a while back, pawently this phenom wasn’t da furst of it’s kind. Anyways, da nice helps peeps had us clear our cache and all was well again. So we spent a whole day duin’ just dat, and…nuffin’. Didn’t work at all!!! And those nice helps peeps are closed fur da holidays. So we purromise we are readin’ your postys, but we just can’t comment, lessen you allow our name and website option. We know a lot of ya’ don’t fur reasons of da spam nature, so all we can tell ya’ is dat we hope to be back in commentin’ business soon. Mommy has her monthly doctors’ pointment tomorrow so we won’t be able to get any help till at da earliest, Tuesday. Da blessing here is dat you all will be patient and still luv us, and we can get help.
Alright now dat da business be outta da way let’s get on wiff meez posty. Mr. W sez there’s a new little stray ‘round our pawtments. We haven’t seen him, but mr. W sez it’s a him and he looks like sis Lexi wiffout a tail. We made sure mr. W had sum noms to give da little guy cuz pawently he likes to go and visit wiff mr. W’s kitty Buddy. We just hope him’s not mr. bobcat dat used to visit our other neighbor at night when he used his exercise bike, or dat visited our other neighbor who can’t see 2 inches in front of her face. You know we be inside only kitties. But fur da furst kupple years dat mommy lived here one of da neighbor ladies used to tell mommy dat she fed her cats or gave them milk while mommy was gone up town. At furst mommy thought she was just feedin’ a stray or feral kitty cuz she knew her kitties was tucked away safely in da house. Dat is till da day mommy came home to find da sweet neighbor lady feedin’ one of da wild bobcats from our woods and yellin’ at mommy dat she wuld send her kitty home after it finished eatin’. And then she purrceeded to attempt to pet da bobcat. Mommy knew she kuldn’t see a thing and hollered back dat we wasn’t furiendly and she shuldn’t twy to pet us. MOL You know old folks will feed anything. Da town’s figgered dat out too and generally when sumpawdy has a kitty they don’t want anymore they drop it off out here. Amazingly enuff we didn’t have any drop offs this last summer, but it’s pawssible da little kitty mr. W is feedin’ is a winter drop off. Till we get a look see we just can’t say fur certain.
We were blest to win a give away dat Playful Kitty held right afur Christmas and yesfurday da FedEx man dropped off a kupple boxes fur us. We got this cool X shaped scratcher and a sisal wrapped rollin’ weight shaped scratcher.
I tried out dat X scratcher when mommy got it put together Dezi, and it’z purretty cool. I’z a little wobbly on minez feet these dayz so I don’t know ‘bout da rollin’ scratcher. I fink dat’z awl yourz. MOL
Y Fank you sissy, but me hasn’t given dat one a try yet eever. They call it a scratchin’ wheel, but we think it looks like a barbell. But yous so right, dat X scratcher is purretty cool. And they look really nice. You know mommy likes da darker colored woods and these scratchers are trimmed in an espresso colored wood like finish. They seem purretty sturdy too. Our other really big blessing is havin’ all of you in our lives fur another fun filled year. We hope and purray fur many more years to come. Well, all dat talk of scratchers has me itchin’ to scratch. So me will wrap it up fur now and go scratch a bit. And we actually membered da Sunday selfies this week, so weez joinin’ our furiends over at The Cat On My Head fur their furst selfies of da new year.
Sabertooth ya’ say? Me knows what you’re thinkin’. You’re thinkin’, but sabertooth tigers are extinct right? Well they’re not. There’s quite a lot of Sabertooths’ in cat scouts and guess who be da newest? Dat’s right, it’s me!!! We had our fall purrmotion ceremony at cat scouts yesfurday and me was purrmoted to da highest rank, Sabertooth. Now me wasn’t purrmoted alone tho’. Guess who else made da cut? You know how me told y’all dat Timmy Tomcat is da reason me has a blog and even joined cat scouts in da furst place. You know me kinda cyber stalked him when we was tryin’ to learn ‘bout da innernet. It’s okay tho’, he knows and has been really helpful, and he and hims daddy has been great teachers. Anyways, we was both purrmoted to da rank of Sabertooth last night. Me was so excited me kuld barely contain meself. Maggie, Felix and Timmy’s brofur Einstein also got purrmoted to da rank of Cougar. And there was lots of mentions fur such pawsum Service to our new Cat Scout University staff, and scouts Raz and Allies’ mommy who be da new Den Mother. Speakin’ of Timmy, one of hims brofurs has been a little unner da wevver so ifin you can spare a few purrayers fur da furmily dat wuld be pawsum.
Me has da bestest seat in da house
Cat Scouts is growin’ by leaps and bounds these days and with da new Cat Scout University it’s so easy fur a new scout to learn da ropes. We have da big Cardwood Derby comin’ up soon; so ifin you wanna show off your DIY skills and make your own car, better get signed up quick. Now as meez told ya’ afur mommy’s not all dat talented when it comes to DIY stuff. And as you know weez not have a lot of money so mommy looked round and found this really cool hot rod cardboard scratcher dat she thought wuld make a great car fur me fur da derby.
She pawlitely wrote da folks and asked ifin we kuld get one to review. It was a long shot, but you never know till you ask right? We heard nuffin’ back from them and dat was okay, cuz by this time mommy had read da instructions and found dat me has to “make” meez car, not buy it (or get it fur free eever). MOL So mommy put back a box dat we got to start workin’ on it next month. And then lo and behold, we received dat pawsum hot rod delivered by da UPS man this past week. MOL Dat’s okay tho’ it’s a great little car and we’ll be showin’ it to you soon. Turns out no review is required on meez bloggy just on da shoppin’ site. But it’s so cool we fink you all might like to see it.
We also received another pawsum scratcher from GoPets on amazon. They’ve got some really great stuff you might wanna check out fur Christmas. We luv da scratcher, but had no idea dat mommy also got a pair of claw clippers from them. Me doesn’t know how she kuld pawssibly think they wuld make a great Christmas gift. Me just hate claw trimmin’ day. But mommy sez these clippers are really amazin’. And let me tell ya’ they be sharp too. They sure made quick work of meez claws. Me only got in one scratch afur mommy was thru. MOL Mommy sez me be too sweet to be actin’ like dat, but me just hates getting’ meez claws clipped more than anythin’ else in da world. And no, it’s not cuz she’s hurt me or cut too close, meez hated it from da furst time. Anyways, GoPets only askd fur a mention on meez bloggy in exchange fur these pawsum items and so there ya’ have it. But we really do think any of da items they have wuld make a great Christmas purresent.
Yeah, rite der mommy
We have been so blest. But you all know us. We think da biggest blessings of all is da luv and furiendships we have found. Member to take a minute and just be thankful fur all da blessings in your life. It’s cooled off considerably here and we’re havin’ lots of storms and gray days dat look like night so mommy has slowed down a lot. We’ll be takin’ most of da day off today cuz we haven’t got our tree up yet and mommy purromissed it wuld happen this weekend. Rest assured we will get by to visit with you all soon. And don’t furget to come by tomorrow, cuz mommy has a real special treat to share with you all. We just know you’re gunna luv it as much as we do.
