(Dezi sits and watches the lights blink on and off on the Christmas tree and turns to mommy and meows) Mommy, how many days are left befur Christmas?

     6 Days, baby, 6 days.

Me can’t wait. Me just luvs Christmas. And me luvs lookin’ at all da Christmas cards we’ve been getting.

     I’m glad you like Christmas Raena. What’s been your favorite thing so far?

          Da lights. I’s really like nommin’ da lights.

You’re not s‘posed to nom da lights Raena, you’re only s‘posed to look at ‘em. Dat doesn’t even count as a Christmas activity. (Dezi acts perturbed.)

          Mommy says I’s can pick anythin’ I’s want sissy. (Raena sits back and thinks a bit) I’s know!!! We won a Christmas Stockin’ from our furiends Zorro and Pixie from da Swiss Cats, and you said it could be allllll mines. I’s luvs it. And it’s soooooo cool; mines stocking came all da way from Switzerland.

          (Raena shuffles her paws) Well, no, sissy. But I’s do know it’s really far away. Awnty Claire sent it speedy ship or else it never woulda got here befur Christmas. Oh, and you know what else I’s luvs sissy? We got a new ‘lectric blanky. And mommy said we didn’t have to wait fur Christmas to start usin’ it. Fank da cats, cuz it’s been really cold ‘round here. Y, Just this meownin’ it was 7 degrees F. But we were toasty warm all cuddled up together under da new ‘lectric blanky.

Yep Raena, we sure are blest. We furgot to ask ‘bout usin’ names, so we’ll just say a meowsy big Fank you to our ‘lectric blanky Angel. (Dezi purrs loudly and then peers at Raena) Don’t you have somethin’ you wanna say Raena?

          (Raena thinks a minute) Ummmm, well…Oh yeah, I’s do sissy. Fanky Fank ya’ dear Angel furiend. We luvs our new ‘lectric blanky. Mommy was so excited she furgot to take fotos. Now da camera batteries are dead and we gotta wait fur ’em to charge so we can take fotos. But you can trust me when I’s tell ya’, we are luvvin’ da snuggly warmth it emanates. Ya’ know sissy, we have da bestest furiends in da universe.

Yes Raena, we do. You know, mommy talked ‘bout how we made all these furiends yesfurday when she wrote da posty. We better wrap it up fur now. Mommy wants another cup of coffee and we need to finish eatin’ brekky. And there’s some gifts under da tree dat need investigatin’ befur Christmas. We hope ya’ll are stayin’ warm. Me also wants to fank all of you who are takin’ care of ferals in your area. Just a few more dreams and Christmas day will be here.

    1. Hmmmmm Not sure awnty Ellen. Sometimes it happens to us too. We usually try subscribin’ again, or checkin’ da WordPress feeder notifications. Sometimes they get messed up in updates.

    mes enjoing having the new palace to myself (though mes does miss Kozmo…) mes does NOT miss Jo Jo! Now mes going to answers your questions!
    Are you ready fur Christmas? Nope. We does has my tree up, but not the train (yet). wes does not has any presents either. Daddy does not Christmas and my auntie Laurie, and Uncle Fred is going away for 3 weeks. mommy missed the early Christmas Dinner with them yesterday and my human brother is not coming this year. Mommy says she has a present for mes though.
    Do you use electric blankets? Mes does not has a electric blanket, but mes DOES has a heating pad and wes gotted a new heated mattress cover!!! Mes LOVES it!!
    Do you have (put up) a Christmas stocking? YES! Mes has a Christmas sock! Mommy does not has one here though…mes thinks she should get one and put her favorite snacls in it – on and a book!
    Mes wishes yous ALL the bestest Christmas EVER!!!

    1. I’s know. I’s so very blest. I’s gotta tell ya’, I’s never coulda ‘magined life could be this good befur mommy came and rescued me. Even then, I’s was scared and not sure what was happenin’. Bug I’s really did hit da jackpot. And it'[s not really cuz of all these purresents. I’s luvs ’em and all, but havin’ mommy and sis Dezi is just da bestest life I’s coulda ever not ‘magined. 🙂 Big huggies to you all.

    1. OMC Shoko and Kali, we got some prezzies under da tree what has these great ribbons just waitin’ to be pulled, un, me means, unwrapped of course. (looks over her shoulder for mommy) And there’s sacks!!! You know, they’re callin’ our names. But mommy keeps shooshin’ us away. Just a few more days and no more shooshin’. And hey, just a little sniff won’t hurt nuffin’. MOL
