(Raena sees mommy coming and runs)

Help!!! You won’t believe what mommy’s makin’ me do!!!
(Dezi gets up from her nap and saunters into the room with Raena)
What are you catterwallin’ ‘bout Raena?
(Raena crouches down and looks around the corner and then back at Dezi)
Look out sissy, mommy’ll be comin’ fur you next!!! She’s got the flashy box in one hand and somethin’ strange in the other. She’ll be comin’ fur you too.
(Mommy stands in the bedroom where she had followed Raena and calls out to Dezi and Raena. Both girls had ran past her toward the living room.) Girls, come on. This was your idea. Ya’ll wanted to help Parsley and Smoochie and all those kitties who are still waitin’ fur homes. This is important. And it’s for a good cause.
(Dezi paws at her eyes still trying to wake up from her nap)
What’s mommy yappin’ ‘bout, Raena?
You know. That time travelin’ bobble hat that be goin’ ‘round Blogville. Fur every kitty that wears it and meows ‘bout it, Basil’s housemates Parsley and Smoochie will donate 2.00 pounds (sorry, we don’t have a pound symbol here, just a dollar one.) to the Burton Joyce Cat Rescue. It’s a great cause, but you went and volunteered us to wear a hat!!! What were you thinkin’?
(Dezi meows sleepily)
A hat? A bobble hat? We’re s’posed to wear a hat? Nah, me wouldn’t agree to that?. Did me?
Hmmmpht Several times!!! And now, the hat’s here and mommy’s got it!!! Basil’s mommy was so sweet and sent mommy her Mandala colorin’ book and included our very own bobble hat.
Me saw the colorin’ book, that was really cool and mommy can’t wait to start colorin’. But me don’t ‘member anythin’ ‘bout no hat.
(Mommy appears at the door with the camera in one hand and the bobble hat in the other and picks up Raena)
Aaaaaack She’s here!!!
(Raena struggles and reaches out for Dezi)
Why are you doin’ this to me mommy?
Help Sissy, she’s got me!!!
(Dezi lays down and yawns)
Better you than me, kid.
(The house falls quiet and Dezi drifts off for another nap. Before she can even wake up, mommy grabs her up and places the bobble hat on her)
What? Mooooooooommy, me doesn’t wanna wear a hat.
(Dezi looks up at mommy)
Fur kittens sakes mommy. At least get a decent foto.
Fine. But just this once.
(Raena appears at the door and starts laughing)
Me told you, that you were next.
It’ll do. Basil, Parsley, Smoochie, ya’ll owe me big fur this one. MOL

Don’t tell me we have to model the socks mommy won from Three Chatty Cats too?.
Fank the cats, No. But they are really cool, and mommy’s luvvin’ her new coffee mug too. All kiddin’ aside, we didn’t mind wearin’ the bobble hat. It’s fur a great cause, and we’re all ‘bout helpin’ kitties in need. We wish every kitty had a luvvin’ furever home like we do. So any time we have the oppurrtunity to help, we will. Well sissy, you already did. We did wanna mention that we think we’re back to bein’ able to leave comments on blogger. We think what happens, is that we get marked as spam on blogger every once in a while, and till that purrson un-spams us, we can’t comment. We’re not accusin’ anypawdy, cuz it’s pawssible that blogger is the one that flags us and not an actual purrson. But it does take an actual purrson to un-spam us. So fank you to whoever it was that retrieved us from your spam folder.
Well, that’s it fur us today. Mommy got to rest the last couple of days and her neck kink is better. So we’ll be ‘round to see ya’ just as soon as we can. We hope you all have a pawsum weekend.

Great job, you both looked wonderful in the bobble hat. It seems to have changed colors since we wore it, it was blue before 🙂 I have some adult coloring books, but rarely have time to color because I choose to crochet before bed instead. I use colored pencils and I still can’t stay in the lines. XO
