I’s comin’, sissy. I’s been so worried ‘bout mommy. Let me get a good stretch here on this new Catit scratcher we got last month from Chewy. I’s wanna give mommy a nice relaxin’ massage. Maybe it’ll help.
Me’s sure mommy will ‘purreciate that Raena. She knows how much we’ve both been worried ‘bout her. Seems things went from bad to worse last week at mommy’s dental ‘pointment and she’s been cryin’ ever since. Me’s furs haven’t gotten this soaked in a while.
Yep sissy, I’s couldn’t believe that after everythin’ she’s been thru and everythin’ they’ve put her thru, they had the nerve to tell her she still owed money. And not just a few dollars either, but a whoppin’ $800.00. I’s should’a known somethin’ was up when I’s didn’t recognize anypawdy when we went back in February. I’s mean, we knew they went thru dentists like a hot knife thru butter; but the office staff had always remained constant. Well, till this year that is. And now they’re sayin’ that mommy paid fur a temporary lower denture but the purr-manent one was never included in the plan. Somethin’ ‘bout only billin’ fur services they’re purrvidin’ at the time. Mommy tried showin’ ‘em her paperwork that showed the purrmanent lower denture, and the paper that said she had a zero balance. But they said they don’t use those forms anymore and even tho it was listed, it was never included in the purrice. And, since the lady that told mommy it was, is no longer with the company, they can only go on what their new paperwork says. And, it says mommy owes them fur the purrmanent bottom denture. But hey, it’s cheaper than the partial she was gonna get. She kept callin’ mommy “my love”, as ifin that was gonna make it all better. Hisssssssss
Yeah Raena, me doesn’t know how they kept a straight face. Or how many more peeps have they done this too?. Ya’ know, they’ve got ya’. Ya’ can’t argue with peeps who don’t have a clue, and they know you’re gonna pay cuz ifin ya’ don’t, ya’ don’t get your teethies. (Dezi and Raena both shake their heads) It’s just so upsettin’. Mommy’s so tired of fightin’ and bein’ alone in all this. She just wants to give up on everythin’. Like, where’s she s’posed to get $800.00? Even ifin she gave ‘em her whole check it wouldn’t be enuff. ‘Course, mommy would never do that, cuz that would mean we wouldn’t get any noms fur the month and would purrobably be evicted fur not payin’ the rent. Me gets why mommy’s so upset, me just doesn’t get how these peeps can do this.
Well, I’s don’t like it sissy. I’s want mine’s happy mommy back. Ifin she’d just have let me at ‘em, I’s would’a gave that my luvs babblin’ lady the o’l whacky paw of correction and a bitey she’d never furget. Anyways, even in what seems like one of mommy’s darkest hours, she continued to say we are Blest. She held each of us and told us how much she luvs us and how Blest she is to have us. And, I’s did see a smile last night when you took your big o’l paw and wiped away her tears and stretched your head out fur a kiss. She says it’s so cute how you poke your mouth out and close your eyes like you’re actually kissin’ her.
That’s cuz me really is kissin’ her, silly. Me luvs mommy so much. Sometimes our duties are to just make mommy feel better.

Me too, Raena. No matter what else may be goin’ on, luv can conquer all. We are so blest to have a luvvin’ mommy, a furever home, food in our tummies and the bestest furiends in the universe. What a meowvelous life we have. We’d like to remind everypawdy to take a minute today and every day to give thanks fur the Blessings in your life. Fank you all fur bein’ our furiends. And, ifin ya’ can spare a purrayer or two, we’d really ‘purreciate it.

What a disappointment ! We’re so sorry for those bad things happening to your mom ! The dental office is not fair and should be reported. We send your mom tons of purrs, and we cross our paws that everything goes better and she could finally get what she’s entitled to. Purrs

I will hissssssss at the dental office, too! It is just not right that your momma should have to pay that money. Mom says, maybe your momma “can file a complaint with the better business bureau.” I don’t know what that is or if it would help, but I sure think you’re momma deserves to be treated much better than she has been and that office should check their records again and realize their mistake! Actually it might help. When the company I work for gets reported to the Better Business Bureau (very seldom) then we HAVE to resolve the issue. Yelp is another place to report. No business wants bad reviews. Don’t give up. Patzy and Miss Juliea

Regardless of who said what they have a written contract with you and I agree with foguth that it may be time to speak with a lawyer. If your mommy can’t afford one the local state bar may be able to offer a pro-bono attorney. It doesn’t sound right to us on this end. We know you’re giving her lots of loving care and thank goodness for that. Sending love and hope this sorts out fast.

I think it’s horrible the way your mom is being treated. Has she spoken to a lawyer to see if what they are doing is legal? I think it is free to talk to them up to the point you decide if you want to hire them.

We figger that too awnty Jeanne. But we don’t have a clue how to get patient names. And unfurtunately, not a lot of peeps ’round here are on catputers. Least not in the age range we’d be lookin’ at. Again, gettin’ patient info, would be impawssible to get. Even with a warrant, the law has trouble with that. We’re just kind’a at a loss and don’t know what we can do. Well, x’cept pay them the money they’re requestin’ or go to another dentist fur the bottom denture. But again, we’d still have to pay. So, no matter how ya’ look at it, mommy’s gonna owe somepawdy money or she won’t get that bottom denture. 😦 Big hugs

Here, in Florida, there are frequently ads on TV from lawyers who are doing a class-action lawsuit for this or that… if you have anything like that in your area, I’d phone and see if they’d be willing to put out ads, etc. to find others who’d had a similar problem from that company.

We’ve never seen those from any lawyers in Oklahoma. Don’t know ifin they just don’t like to rock the boat or what it is. But, the little guy doesn’t get very far here. Well, lessen you’re an Indian, and then peeps are linin’ up to help you with anythin’ and everythin’. Least it seems that way.

Hmmm… It is interesting that you don’t see that type of commercial. Here, in Florida, it often seems like more than half of the commercials are for medication and/or lawyers to join a lawsuit over some sort of medical issue.

We see those kinds of commercials, but they’re fur law firms in California and other places far away. We don’t hear anythin’ from lawyers in Oklahoma. Big hugs

What a weird setup at the dentists office. I don’t really understand how they can get away with this. If it’s stated you paid…you paid. It would be a terribly sticky perdicament and we send our hugs and paw pats to your mom.
