Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. WoooooooWhee You should’a seen the winds we had yesfurday, they whipped us all over the road. Mine’s furs was blowin’ in the wind so much that by the time we got home, I’s looked like a scraggly stray. Mommy didn’t look much better. She had knots on top of knots in her head furs.
Yeah Raena, ya’ll were quite a sight. Me was worried ‘bout ya’ll. The wind here was whippin’ things ‘round outside and me could hear all kinds of noises and bangs on the house and windows. Me was so happy to see ya’ll and fur us to be all together and safe. But what happened? Ya’ll came home without mommy’s new denture, yet again?.
Well sissy, you know mommy’s been tellin’ ‘em all along that the wax mold they’ve been givin’ her to try in didn’t fit and sure ‘nuff, when they made that denture based on the wax model it didn’t fit. Y, when mommy put it in, it just fell right back out. So, they’re havin’ to remake it yet again. Hopefully, it’ll be right next week. There was yet another new dentist there yesfurday. Mommy didn’t like him at all. ‘Course, it doesn’t really matter; the dentists don’t have anythin’ to do with the denture pawrt. That’s all on these untrained assistants. Anyways, our assistant, Patrick, told mommy all ‘bout this new smarty pants fone he got fur the cheap. Ya’ know, mommy’s been thinkin’ ‘bout movin’ us into this century and gettin’ us a smarty pants fone.
Well, did ya’ll get one Raena?
Not yet, sissy. We did go by the place and check ‘em out. Seems they could give mommy one of those smarty pants fones fur furee and get us all set up fur the same price she pays fur our non smarty pants fone. And, the fureebie is even big enuff that mommy can see it. Y, she could even learn to text. All she’d have to do is talk to it and it could type all by itself.
MeOW That does sound like a purretty smart fone, Raena. Ya’ reckon it could unnerstand our meows and help us write our own blogs? Ya’ know, on the days when mommy feels bad?
I’s bet it could sissy. We tried it out in the store and mommy and the clerk got a big o’l laff when I’s meowed and it typed somethin’. Since I’s can’t read, I’s don’t know ifin it translated mine’s meow as good as mommy does tho’. Besides, I’s like writin’ our postys with mommy. The smarty pants fones are purretty cool, but I’s wouldn’t trade mommy in fur one.
Me either Raena. But, it would be nice to have one. Me hopes mommy decides to go back and get it. What else did ya’ll do yesfurday?
Nuffin’, sissy, After meowin’ ‘bout smarty pants fones, we came straight home. We missed you. And hopefully, we can get some visits in today. I’s miss what’s goin’ on with all our furiends too. And, all the x’citement that’s goin’ on outside. All the birdies are out and I’s even saw a squirrel this meownin’.
C’mon Raena, let’s finish brekky and get to visitin’.

Petcretary sure hopes to hear that the saga of the bad dentures will soon come to an end….its becoming an epic, MOL!
Sorry ,I just try to see the funny side of things…but for real, we do hope that we can hear that you have a good upper denture really soon. This has been a frustrating journey that you had to go on.
Aspen has an office here…but none of us will darken the doors there that is for sure.
Hope you have some lovely spring weather too.
All these storms and coldness is no fun.
We are having bad storms here too on Sat/Sun. Pawppy said that north of here they could get heavy freezing rain with bad ice accumulation. Petcretary has to go to her work, but hopefully she will be able to drive there and back (8 miles on country roads…)

I say, Miss Momma Nature needs to send you some good weather! And I sure hope that dentist gets Miss Audra’s denture right next time. They should’ve listened to her in the first place. I wonder about those “smartphones.” Humans seems to spend far too much time on them. I don’t think they’re all that and a bag of nip! Hugs & luvs.

Yep Val, we’re purrayin’ hard the dentist can get it right. We’re so tired of dealin’ with this. And since mommy has to find another dentist to do the bottom dentures, we just wanna be thru with these peeps and movve on. Big hugs

Just so you all know, Aspen Dental has been advertising a lot on TV around here, but I turn off those ads, ’cause I know they’ve been mean to your momma! And we had thunderstorms on Tuesday, then snow squalls on Wednesday! Crazy stuff!

Dad was worried about his trees but we got through alright. It was really windy.
Purrs that the next teeth fit. Dad had the same thing happen but with him the wax was spot on and then the teeth were like made for another person. MOL Glad that is fixed

It’s been very windy here too…….my Mom doesn’t have – or need – a smarty pants phone….she’s got a little cell phone with no texting/camera/etc. and she only uses it for emergencies. We hardly see anyone these days though that isn’t on their smarty phone – stores, sidewalks, cars – everybody is staring at their phone!!! Glad your Mom’s new teeth might be ready finally next week.
