Yep sissy, I’s do, cuz it means we have another day to lives and luvs. Looks like Summer arrived and kicked Spring on down the road. I’s guess that’s okay tho’, mommy said Spring wouldn’t be stayin’ long. It’s turned really hot and there’s been lots of fun teevee to watch from mine’s purrch. Y, I’s saw birdy’s and wasps and bunnies last week. Mommy says the waspys are dangerous and she’s always sprayin’ somethin’ outside to make ‘em go away. They must not be too smart tho’, cuz they just keep comin’ back fur more.
Yep Raena, mommy’s ‘lergic to waspys, so that’s why she’s always tryin’ to shoo ‘em off. Now where did you see those bunnies? Me didn’t see any bunnies.
They were right outside sissy, eatin’ the grass and flowers. There’ll be more bunnies to see, don’t worry summer’s furinally here. In the meantime, we oughtta give fanky fanks fur the nice weather and all our furiends.
Me is fankful fur the nice warm weather Raena. And of course me’s always fankful fur our furiends. Meowin’ of furiends, mommy got a birthday card last week from awnty Mary Beth and uncle Garth. And they also included a card from Gizmo and the rest of the furry family. Mommy thought that was just the sweetest thing ever.
Ain’t that the truth sissy?. She also got a card and some green papers yesfurday from one of our Anonymous awnties, that made her smile. Actually, I’s think it was more of a big o’l grin rather than a smile. Mommy’s kind’a embarrassed right now cuz she doesn’t have a tooth in her mouth.
Oh Raena meowin’ of mommy’s toothlessness, she had furgotten till recently that she had to renew her driver’s license befur the end of May. Ya’ know license fotos aren’t meant to be purrtraits, but mommy’s always gotten all purrettied up fur the foto anyways. Ya’ know she paints her face and fixes her hair and gets ready to pose and smile her big teeth showin’ smile. But, this year she doesn’t have any teeth fur that smile, so when she sat down to have her foto taken, all she could do was grin. She looks so funny, kind’a like a blowfish or somethin’.
Sissy, that’s not very nice of you to compare mommy to a blowfish. Besides, how do you even know what a blowfish looks like?
C’mon Raena, mommy knows she looks funny without any teethies. Her lips have all but disappeared. She keeps pushin’ ‘em out cuz she says skinny lips mean she’s gettin’ old. And you know how much mommy hates lookin’ old. MOL
That’s the truth sissy, she blames every wrinkle and gray hair on us. I’s can’t ‘magine why she would even think such a thing.
Me neither Raena. Oh well, we’ll think ‘bout that tomorrow. Me wonders how many of our furiends might be the cause of their peeps wrinkles and gray hairs? Anyways, we wanna Fank all our furiends fur their luv and fur sharin’ their lives with us. As always, we’d like to remind you all to take a minute today and every day to give Thanks fur the Blessings in your lives.

I doubt that we gave our mommas wrinkles and gray hairs. I think that life gave it to them, ’cause life can bring ups and downs. Furr-tunately our mommas hide any wrinkles and gray hairs they might have well. Tee hee hee. Hugs and luvs!

My mommy knows what your mom is saying about thin lips and gray hairs. But my mommy kind of likes her gray hairs because it looks like she had a professional streak job on It. Just like her mommy who never colored her hair and is now a streaked silvery blondish gray. But my mommy won’t show her teeth because they are not good. She is working on that.
On the teeth subject, mommy is missing quite a few molars and has trouble chewing her food up all the way. I just know she isn’t getting the full nutritional value out of the food she eats. Plus she almost chokes if she’s really hungry because she tries to swallow before the food is chewed up enough. Does your mommy have some of those problems while waiting for her new teeth’s?

Well Patzy, mommy can’t chew anythin’, she doesn’t have any teeth at all. Not even temporary dentures. So, mommy’s not eatin’ food. She bought some taters to make smashed taters with so she could use her tongue to push them against the roof of her mouth and swallow. But, most of the taters were bad. The store wouldn’t give her new ones or her green papers so she’s just goin’ without. Back when she had teeth, she didn’t have money fur food, so she mostly went without then too. When there was food it was things like mac and cheese or some other noodle that would purrobably slide down whole. Sorry your mommy’s havin’ purroblems eatin’. Just tell her to slow down maybe. Driver’s license photos often look kind of embarrassing. My most recent one looks like a mug shot. I sure hope your mom’s tooth problems get sorted soon. It really must be no fun to not have teeths! 🙂

I’m so sorry that your mom has still to deal with that tooh-problem… maybe once she can win the funny-photo contest together with my mama who looks like a drunk , because of the special photo requirements of the notorious EU… even the guy at the license place laughed and said she can hit the jackpot at any roadside control with that shot…

We here are not nearly as hot as we were last week…in fact petcretary put on a sweater when she went out late in the day to do some small yard chores. But the sj=keeters are way too hungry and they are swarming like clouds. Yuck.
I hope your Mommy’s driver’s license turned out OK. An I hope soon that that toothlessness will be gone and in its place a beautiful well toothed smile:)
