Hey everypawdy, it’s I’s, RaenaBelle. It’s time fur another Blest Sunday; and are we ever Blest. That doesn’t mean everything’s purrfect, it just means that we choose to find the good things around us instead of dwelling on the bad. And there is bad. The car’s still broke, mommy’s legs and feetsies have been swelling again, It’s been storming off and on all week, you sissy, are still a bit unner the weather, and mommy’s pain has reached new levels. But, we have each other, a roof over our heads, food fur our plates to fill our bellies and the bestest furiends in the universe. 

 

 

 

          That’s true Raena. We are saddened tho’ by what’s goin’ on in cities all across America right now. We are purraying fur swift and fair resolutions and fur the destruction to stop.  

 

That we do sissy, that we do. (Raena and Dezi bow there heads in a moment of silence and prayer) Well, mommy’s birthday was this past week. We have no idea how old she really is, just that she’s been around since the dinosaurs. I’s gave her lots of cuddles and extra luvvins. I’s luvs mine’s mommy so much. 

 

 

 

 

          Yeah Raena, me’s surpurrised you didn’t become attached to mommy’s lap; you spent so much time there.   

 

It’s mine’s favorite place to be sissy. Anyways, we wanted to say a meowsy big fanky fank you to awnty Anonymous, awnty Vonda and awnty Ellen fur sendin’ mommy some birthday green papers. We sure do ‘purreciate ya’ll. Now that the weather’s getting warmer, I’s hopin’ mommy’ll be up to takin’ I’s fur a few strolls. Unlike the neighbors, we don’t go traipsing around  by ourselves; but I’s would enjoy a little fresh air once in a while. With the car broke, I’s not gone anywhere in like…FurEver.   

  

 

 

 

          Me’s sure mommy plans to take you out at some point Raena, me saw a new harness the other day. Another of your birthday gifts me’s sure.  

 

Yeah sissy, it’s a bit strange. But, mommy says it was on sale fur the cheap and she wanted to see ifin I’s would like a different style. Sorry, no foto shoot yet. But, I’s’ll be sure and let all of ya’ know how I’s like it.  

 

          Hmmmmpht  Like we’re holdin’ our breath Raena.

   

 

 

 

Ya’ don’t have to be mean sissy. Some peeps do enjoy seein’ mine’s new outfits. Meowin’ of, I’s could use a few new dresses fur summer.  

 

          Ya’ know Raena, cats aren’t s’posed to like dressing up.   

 

Says who sissy? I’s purrsonally think more of us like it than you may think. Altho’, ifin one doesn’t, I’s don’t think their humans should make them. With the exception of a harness when one goes outside. No kitty should be outside without a harness and leash and their human attached at the other end. It’s just too dangerous.  

 

 

 

 

          Me agrees Raena. Anyways, we oughtta wrap this up. Are you gonna finish eatin’ that? (Dezi looks over at Raena’s plate where a few bites of breakfast still lay)
