Hi ya’ furiends. How’s it going? Hello? Is anypawdy there? Hey RaenaBelle, how does this thing work?
Uh, Just who do you think you are Zebby? You haven’t earned the right to lead our posts yet. So, it doesn’t really matter how it works. Ya’ know, you really need to learn to pay attention. And, it wouldn’t hurt ifin you’d start minding mommy a bit better. She ain’t no spring chicken anymore and I’s think you’ve been on her last nerve fur a couple of days now.
(Zebby runs and jumps on Raena’s back) What’s a spring chick Raena? And, what’s minding?
Get off me Zebby!!! (Raena twists and turns her body and turns the tables on Zebby who runs away and then comes back to challenge her) Not being a spring chick is just a nice way of saying mommy’s old and doesn’t have the patience she once did. As fur minding, you know exactly what that is. When mommy tells you to do something or to stop doing something, you’re supposed to do it, no questions asked. I’s know you’re on mine’s last nerve too. You know I’s not been feeling well.
Well, let’s get you and mommy some more nerves Raena. As fur that minding thing…well, sometimes mommy wants me to stop doing things that are fun.
Well Zebby, furst of all, you can’t just go get more nerves. Ya’ have to step off and let them calm down a bit. Trust me, I’s used to get on mommy’s last nerve when I’s was younger too. As fur the minding pawrt, some things may look fun, and they might even be fun. But, ifin mommy’s telling ya’ to stop, there’s probably a really good reason. Sometimes what you think is fun might actually be dangerous. You know, like how many times have you been smacked in the face by unexpectedly jumping onto the bed while mommy’s trying to make it. I’s know she feels really bad when you go flying through the air, but she doesn’t expect you to come charging in when she’s fluffing the sheets. I’s mean, she always checks to make sure we’re not around befur she starts, so when you suddenly show up…well, you know. Once her hands are in motion, she can’t stop ‘em. It’s up to you to pay attention and mind when she says, stay down fur a minute.
Yeah well, it only hurts fur a minute. And, it’s so much fun to jump in the middle of all those flying covers.
(Raena shakes her head) It must be a boy thing. Anyways, I’s wanted to thanky thank all of our dear furiends fur their purrayers. I’s starting to feel a bit better. Mommy says I’s still not great, but at least I’s eating a bit and keeping it down. And, I’s wanted to thanky thank awnty Susan fur sending the pawsum noms and goat milk. Ya’ know a while back I’s had tummy problems and mommy had to find new foods that I’s could eat. She wasn’t and still isn’t completely certain just what all I’s allergic to, but, it seems I’s fur sure allergic to most chicken. So, I’s been eating successfully, the Nulo freeze dried turkey and Vital Essentials in their freeze dried Turkey and Rabbit foods.
I’s can eat anything, huh Raena?
Yes Zebby, you most certainly can…and do. Anyways, we want to Give thanky thanks fur all of you. We are fur sure Blest.
Ain’t that the truth Raena. I’s so thankful to have a furever home, and you and mommy and all of our furiends. I’s’ll head over and link us up to the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies. Then maybe we can ask fur some treats?
Yeah, maybe Zebby. As we do each week, we’d like to remind you to take a minute today and every day to Give thanks fur the Blessings in your lives. Thanky thank you fur being Blessings in ours.
Till the next time……………………………………………………………………….Be Blest!!!
Raena, even though you may not be able to eat chicken anymore, at least that you can still eat turkey. I’m envious, ’cause I haven’t had turkey in a long long time ’cause Mom says I’m “allergic” to it. At one point I thought Mom was going to take chicken away from me, too, but thank goodness she hasn’t. Mom suggests, “The vet did an allergy test on Valentine several years ago, and it identified several foods that Val is sensitive to that I had been feeding him up to that point. I highly recommend Raena get tested if she hasn’t been already. I sure found it most helpful and steered me to foods with ingredients best for Val.”
Hugs and loves.
