Hey dearest furiends, are ya’ll staying cool? Kittens!!! Summer has finally arrived and it is Hot, Hot, HOT!!! ‘Course, some of our furiends are also dealing with storms and fires. Ya’ll are in our purrayers. We want you all to be safe.
It is hot Raena. Y, mommy was practically soaked when she came in from checking the mail yesfurday. I’s tried to dry her off, but she was so salty.
Yeah Zebby, that’s sweat. Altho’, we southern belles call it glistening or the glow.
What? Why would you call it glistening Raena?
Cuz it sounds better Zebby. Southern women don’t like to sweat.
But doesn’t everypawdy sweat sis?
Not southern women Zebby. MOL Anyways, it’s Blest Sunday and time to count our Blessings. As everypawdy knows, Zebby’s in Training now so he gets to go on a lot of outings. You know, mommy straps the leash on him and takes him with her to check the mail, pay the rent, and little jaunts outside or to the neighbors.
Oh sis, I’s luvs going with mommy on adventures. It’s sooooooo much fun. And, I’s luvs seeing all the new sights and meeting new peeps. I’s met some neighbor boy yesfurday.
Of course you do Zebby. But, I’s not ready to retire just yet. And, I’s miss going with mommy and taking strolls. So, I’s was so happy when mommy took me out this week. Granted, one of our trips was to make a video fur our Service Cat Friday post, but, hey, a girly will take what she can get. I’s also got to visit with Spook and Jubal. Unfortunately, it was too hot fur us to stay out long. But, mommy has promised she’ll be taking me out more often.
What? But what about me?
I’s guess you’ll just have to stand at the door and holler. MOL Anyways, we also wanna thanky thank awnty Anonymous fur the green papers. We’re still trying to raise money to get us a reliable vehicle. Ifin you can spare anything, we’d sure appreciate it. You can donate directly through our paypal here. I’s got an appointment with the V-E-T coming up in the next couple of months and Zebby will need to go fur his spa day. We’re just not sure ifin the neighbor will help us. You know she’s not been too keen on us being in her car. And, another of our neighbors died this week, so it’s really got Mrs. N a little beside herself.
