Hey dearest furiends, how are ya’? It’s been hot and humid here this week. There’s a constant heat advisory. Mommy says that’s normal living in the south. I’s so thanky thankful fur the air conditioner. I’s can’t even imagine having to hang around outside like our neighbor’s kitty Bobbie.
Bobbie? Who’s Bobbie?
Bobbie’s your furiend Zebby. You know, the black kitty that comes and lays on our porch every day?
Really? I’s didn’t know she had a name and a home. She’s always trying to come in our house.
Yeah, well, her person says she’s an outside kitty and doesn’t like staying inside. I’s think she’s bananas. Nopawdy wants to be out in that heat. But, since she belongs to somepawdy, we can’t bring her in. But, mommy did fix her up a nice little spot with cold water so she won’t get dehydrated and sick.
Seems every cat around thinks they ought to come to our house. I’s guess they know we’re Blest and we’ll help ‘em as best we can. Even if that means sharing mommy with ‘em.
Yeah Zebby, we are indeed blest.

Some peeps just shouldn’t have pets…but it is kind and thoughtful for your Mommy to help that kitty…and cold water is very welcome on a hot day.

It’s furry good of your Mommy to put out water for the homeless kitties. In the little park just down the road from where We live, there’s a water fountain with 2 taps, one at Human Drinking Level, and one nearer the ground with an attached bowl so that any Human taking a drink can also fill up the bowl for their woofie, or for the community cats that like to shelter from the heat under the trees of the garden.
