Blest Sunday: Giving And Receiving Blessings

MeeeeOW  What a week it’s been, huh Raena?.

          That’s fur sure sissy. One day it was fureezin’ and the next mr. Sunshine graced us with his purresence fur a couple of hours.

 

Yep, and the next, the wind was blowin’ so hard it sounded like thunder and rain. The weather guessers said it was blustery out.

          Blustery. Now what does that even mean sissy?

Well Raena, me knows what it looked and sounded like to me, but let’s ask the lady in the box. She should do somethin’ besides just sit there and beep all day. 

 

          She does sissy, don’t you hear mommy yellin’ at her to stop? And when that doesn’t work, she tries to tell her to shut up. Mommy says sayin’ shut up isn’t nice, so she must really get furustrated with the box lady sometimes.

Yeah Raena, me wonders ifin other peeps with the box lady has to constantly tell her to be quiet too? Anyways, let’s find out what she has to say ‘bout blustery.

 

     Echo Dot: Blustery means “blowing in violent and abrupt bursts” 

 

Hmmmm  Well, me guesses 50 to 75 mph is fur sure violent.

 

          Guess so sissy. The leaves sure thought so, they were blowin’ ‘round everywhere. And, it made it feel soooooo cold, even inside the house. Which reminds me, did you see all the goodies that came in that recycled Chewy box from Pipo and awnty Ingrid?

Me sure did, Raena. Back when our ‘pawrtment flooded and got all packed up and remodeled, mommy found a few things went missin’. Among those missin’ items was mommy’s coat. Unfurtunately, there wasn’t anythin’ mommy could do ‘bout it. But, it did make fur some really cold outings in the winter time. Mommy never made a very big deal of it, but, every winter she would be reminded ‘bout that pawful time in our lives. Well, this winter just got so cold and mommy was out in it more than usual, so we happened to mention it in passin’ the other day.

Look’it Raena, they sent goodies fur us too.

 

 

 

          And that’s when Pipo and awnty Ingrid got an idea. They happened to have some coats and sweaters layin’ ‘round after their awnty went to heaven, and decided to pass ‘em along to mommy. I’s just luvs the dark blue one. Oh Kittens is it soft and dreamy feelin’.

It is nice Raena. Me likes the duster. Mommy’s always been a little of a cowgirl, and the duster looks really good on her. We sure are grateful fur such pawsum furiends. Mommy cried and cried fur like, ever.

          Yep sissy, she did. Altho’ I’s not sure which made her happier, the coats and sweaters, the M&M’s, the cookies or the coffee?. I’s think the whole box was purretty pawsum. They even included some toys, treats and nip fur us.

          I’s really like the wand toy, sissy. I’s just luvs a good inneractive play session with mommy.

 

Who are you kitten Raena? You just luv to play. We are so blest. Ya’ know, we’ve won a few contests lately that we haven’t had the chance to post ‘bout.

          Sure ‘nuff sissy. We won this stuffs called Kit Tea from our furiend Cody. We’re actually s’posed to drink it, but we luvs just playin’ with the herb filled bags. And, mommy luvs the little tins they came in. She says they make a great nip meow-inator fur our older toys. And we got a package from mine’s godmother awnty Ellen that was just full of surpurrises. A little bit ago, the Whiskeratti gang was tryin’ to get green papers fur Toby’s dental work; and awnty Ellen said that she would make one of her Made with Love nip mats and some toys fur those who donated to the fundraiser. She had to limit it to those in the U.S. cuz she’s had a few sick kitties recently too and green papers are short.

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. Well, what did ya’ll think ‘bout mommy getting’ to try somethin’ new? I’s gotta tell ya’, we were purretty x’cited. And, I’s even got some of that PawPaw ointment put on me. Somehow, I’s got a scratch on mine’s nose and mommy used it fur me. It felt kind’a nice. Anyways, have we got a surpurrise fur ya’ll on Furiday.

I’s was gonna tell everypawdy what we had comin’ up on Furiday, sissy.

          Well don’t, Raena. It’s gonna be a surpurrise. We’ve already eluded to it, and now we’re just gonna hit ‘em with it. It’s the purrfect time of year. ‘Course, anytime we get somethin’ new is the purrfect time. Anyways, did you notice mr. Sunshine came back out today?

 

I’s did sissy. I’s also noticed the air seems a bit warmer too. Mommy says it’s still not warm enuff to go fur a stroll, but we are enjoyin’ not fureezin’ all day. Ya’ know, we’ve got that pawsum ‘lectric blanky on the bed to keep us from fureezin’ at night, and oh is it nice. I’s could stay in bed all the time.

Hey all, mommy A here. I’ve hijacked the girls blog today to tell you about something I recently found that I think every household needs. As you all know, the girls do most of our reviews. And, I’m thrilled they get to try so many amazing things. But, as you also know, there’s a human behind all the pet blogs including ours. A lot of times the things we humans get to review have to do with cleaning or enriching the lives of our furry babies in some way. Don’t get me wrong, I love my girls and can’t imagine not picking up after them or trying to make their lives better; but, every once in a while I’d like something that didn’t have anything to do with cleaning. lol

At first, everything was going along fine. My gums were and have healed properly and I’m getting used to the feel of “fake teeth”.
