Well mommy and me wanna fank yous all fur da purrs and purrayers fur hers. Mommy be much better today. Her’s gunna look like a smurf fur a while, but she’s feelin’ much better. Oh yeah weez got news bout da fwidge today, and now it’s posed to ship out wound da 30ff. So, mowe waitin’. What’s new tho’ wight? Anyways, nuff of da bad stuffs. Weez back and weez back wiff happys. Dat’s hoo weez awe.

But weez did get to finkin’ dat maybe sum of yous wuz wunnwin’ just how weez did ow job fwu all of this. Aftew all fur mumffs weez kuldn’t get da wheelchair fwu da house and when weez stayed in da motel weez didn’t hav da hospital bed or da wheelchair at all. So not to dwell on da sads or bads weez wuz wunnewin’ ifin yous all wuld be innewested in us writin’ and tellin’ ya’ how weez adjust and what weez do when fings awen’t “nowmal” fur us. Ifin not, dat’s fine and weez will move on, but weez wanted to offer.

Now earlier this mumff weez wrote a posty ‘bout da dangers to black and white cats at this time of year. Halloween is gettin’ closer and closer now and weez want to wemind yous all to purrlease take any steps you can to purrtect yous black cats. And any stway or fewals in yous neighborhood. No kitty deserves to be mistweated, not one. But fur suwe nun deserve it based on da color of their furs and hooman ignowance and superstition. Ifin yous liv in an awea where shelters don’t baw da adoptin’ of black cats fwuout this mumff, purrlease talk to them and twy to get them on board. Wemember yous hav to be da voice fur kitties as most of us don’t hav a voice of ow own. It seems no matter how advanced hoomans become they awe still purrlenty ignowant and superstitious ‘bout sum fings.

One last fing today. Weez wecently got a email suggestin’ dat mommy be, well……stwetchin’ da twuff ‘bout da purrices here. So while weez wuz out yesfurday at da phawmacy, me weminded mommy dat weez shuld stop at da gwocewy stowe and take a foto. So off we went. Da item mommy wuz questioned ‘bout wuz da one hers has complained da mostest ‘bout of course, so weez headed wight fur da purroduce and spyed da lettuce. Da owner wuz there and so weez had to stop and visit a minute afur headin’ ovew on ow foto mission. Hims told us while weez wuz visitin’ dat da lettuce be on sale this week so we wusn’t suwe what purrice we wuz gunna find. But we purrawmissed to always tell da twuff so it didn’t matter what da purrice wuz weez wuz gunna foto and post it, cuz we knew dat no matter what it wuz gunna be widiculously high. And so here it is, we know it be hawd to see, weez had sumone use there fone and email it to us, so da quality not be gweat, but lettuce wuz on sale fur $1.99 a head.

Guess dat’s gunna be a wrap fur me today. Weez still got a foo fings to get togedder wound da house and me wants to help mommy any way me can. Mommy’s No Ballerina

OMC What a day weez hav had. Me guesses me shuld stawt wiff last night. Dat’s when it all began. Well as you all know sis Lexi and me sleep in da bed wiff mommy evewy night, and mommy actually carries us to bed. It’s purrawly ow most favowit time of day. Mommy turns off da puter and teevee and tells us it’s time fur night night and then picks us up and carries us to da pawdee box room. Weez all do sum business and usually sis Lexi heads fur da bed first. Hers duz hers pacin’ and twyin’ to jump up on da bed fing and then mommy picks hers up and helps her onto da bed. Hers just can’t jump dat high anymowe. Come on hers be 15 years old. Dat’s why weez askin’ fur help raisin’ gween papers to get hers a set of stairs. (da only fing weez askin’ fur dat didn’t get wuined in da floods cuz weez not hav any to begin wiff) At sum point she’s gotta stawt havin’ sum kinda purrawlems, wight? Anyways mommy helps hers up to da bed and then comes back to da pawdee box room and picks me up and carries me to bed.

Once weez all in da bed weez say ow purrayers and fank God fur all da blessings Hims has bestowed on us and then fank Hims fur ow furiends and asks Him to keep a hand on you all and bless you and meet yous needs. Then mommy lays down and Lexi and me stawt in purrin’ and massagin’ mommy to sleep. So last night stawted out da same as any udder night. Mommy turned off da teevee and puter and told us it wuz time to go night night, and then picked me up. Evewy once in a while Lexi will walk to da back by hers selff, and last night wuz one of those nights. So Lexi headed for the pawdee box room and mommy picked me up. Then she turned out da lights and we headed toward da back of da house.

Mommy had been goin’ fwu hers magazines and catalogs earlier in da day, and also puttin’ ow catit twack toys back togedder. (weez just luv ow catit twacks) Sum of yous hav been followin’ us long enuff to know meez mommy’s no ballewina, and hers has sum serious nerve damage dat makes hers not always be able to feel hers extwemeties (arms, legs, hands and feet). So anyways, hers picked me up and pulled da little switch on ow new fan/light fixture and turned to walk down da hall. And just then hers lost hers balance. OMC It wuz so skeery. Mommy had put hers foot on one of those slick magazines and it stawted movin’ under da weight of da two of us. Well mommy held me tight and stawted weachin’ out wiff hers furee hand. It all happened so fast and afur weez knew it, mommy and me wuz down. Me wuz close to mommy’’s heart but so skeered meez tinkled a little, and mommy banged hers head. She also got scwatched up a bit.(not meez claws) But hers got up and nevew once let me go. Sis Lexi had weturned and stawted lickin’ mommy’s booboos and then we all went to da back; and eventually went to sleep.

When mommy woke up today she realized how much damage she did. Hers legs and feet wuz all swelled up and hurtin’, and she had bruises up one side and down da udder. Da hand she used to bwace ow impact is weally sore and typin’is vewy hawd fur hers. So weez will be takin’ it easy and makin’ weally short comments till hers hand gets all better. There wuz nuffin’ weez kulda dun to stop it, but weez suwe did wish weez kulda. Weez gave mommy extwa massages last night and will again tonight. Cuz as me sed, Mommy’s no ballewina. MOL

Well here it is Blest Sunday again. This year has just gotten away fwum us and is almost ovew. While dat might not mean vewy much to yous, it’s vewy impurrtant fur us. It mawks a weal milestone in ow lives. See just a little ovew a year ago now we got ow vewy first catputer. Mommy knew nuffin’ ‘bout ‘em but most of ow bills and bankin’ had swiched ovew and wuz gunna stawt chawgin’ us a mumffly fee ifin weez didn’t jump on da ‘puter bandwagon. Well of course weez didn’t hav da munny fur no [uter, but mommy continued to look wound. Hers finally found a puter weez kuld buy and ordered it. It wusn’t long afur weez had it in ow house, and mommy began to twy to figger out what to do wiff it.

Da local community college has a bwanch here in ow town and they offer clases fur da seniors here fur furee. Well mommy purromptly signed up fur a Facebook class. Alwight even livin’ off da gwid and under a rock weez had heard of Facebook. Da first class mommy learned hers wuz gunna hav to cweate a Facebook account. WTC (what the cat) Mommy bein’ a purrivate purrsun and a single lady livin’ alone hers ‘cided wight away hers didn’t want hers foto and name all ovew da net, so hers cweated sed Facebook account under Lexi and meez name. And then hers went about liking a foo sites and so on. Da nex fing hers knew she wuz bein’ asked ifin weez, sis Lexi and me; had a page. It took ‘bout 3 weeks, afur hers figgered out what to do to cweate us a page, but soon nuff hers got it up and began to tell ow stowwy. And what followed wuz beyond ow wildest dweams or expectations.

Peeps stawted followin’ ow stowwy and commentin’ and messagin’ us and weez made furiends. Now meez knows yous all know dat’s what Facebook calls da peeps dat follow yous, but weez mean “Weal Furiends.” Peeps dat weally cawed ‘bout us and dat luvved us as much as we luvved them. Weez kuldn’t wait evewyday to connect wiff ‘em, and shawe in their joys and sowwows and hav them do da same. Afur long those same furiends became pawt of ow framly. And weez don’t know what we wuld do wiffout ‘em. And then a foo mowe mumffs down da road and weez had a blog and even mowe furiends. And yous know what? Y’all hav become pawt of ow framly too. Weez awe so blest.

Weez hav come so faw in a year it’s kinda skeery. We can’t magine ow lives now wiff out yous all in it. And weez not want too. Yous know when we stawted out mommy didn’t know nuffin’ bout editing fotos much less usin’ foto apps or online photoshoppin’. And now weez pawticipate in a Caturday Art Blog Hop. When weez stawted mommy didn’t know nuffin’ ‘bout makin’ videos, and now weez hav ow own YouTube channel. When meez stawted bloggin’ mommy didn’t even know how to let me leave a comment fur meez oldest and dearest bloggin’ furiend Timmy Tomcat (hims blog wuz on a diffewent furmat). It wuz Timmy dat got us into bloggin’ in da first place and now weez kuldn’t even comment on hims posties.

Well dat’s all behind us now and weez can comment on any blog anywhere. And weez hav accounts wiff Twitter, Pinterest, Flickr, Tumblr (All under da name Deziz World), of course Facebook and ow newest and most undeveloped, Instagram. Can yous believ it? A year ago weez didn’t even know what these fings wuz. Meez a Cat Scout and sis Lexi and me awe boff members of da Tabby Cat Club. Weez also membews of a foo cat specific sites like da Cat Channel. And nun of this wulda evew happened ifin weez hadn’t got a catputer. Weez learn new fings evewyday, and just last night mommy learned how to use a fumm dwive. Can yous believ it? Afur yous go gettin’ all ‘cited ‘bout mommy gettin’ smawt, hers kuldn’t hav dun it wiff out help fwum Mr. Pete, Timmy’s daddy. Hims walked mommy fwu what to do and now hers a fumm dwive natuwal. (It’s okay Miss Tricia hav yous a good laff just don’t spit out da coffee). Fur those of yous wunnewin’ dat’s Miss Tricia of da Katnip Lounge. She’s way cool and gets a weal kick outta me sayin’ fumms. Most of yous know hers and da lounge but ifin any of yous not know ‘em yet, head on ovew, those cats got a gweat set up there in da desert.

Anyways, me sed all dat to show yous just how blest weez weally awe. Blest Sunday is ow favowit posty to make. We know it has vewy little to do wiff us bein’ service cats or ow work or play, but it’s a time to weflect on da good in ow lives. And all of these fings awe gweat, but da bestest and gweatest blessing is ALL of YOU!!!

Meowllo evewypawdy, and a happy Tuesday to yous all. A while back meez posted ‘bout meez new hawness and showed yous all fotos of me wearin’ it and luvin’ it. And then a bit later me told yous all dat mommy had put it on me duwin’ a weally bad stowm we had and it seemed to help me. Specially since me hates da fundershirt and won’t keep it on so weez hav no idea ifin it wuld work. Well meez has sum new furiends since then and sum of them awe workin’ on leash and hawness twainin’ and sum awe workin’ on becomin’ Therapy animals, so me fawt me wuld make a little posty ‘bout me and meez hawness ifin nuffin’ else to giv their hoomans hope dat sumday their furbabies will be stwuttin’ their stuff too. Smile

As yous know me and sis Lexi awe Service cats. Now dat’s not da same as a Therapy or Companion animal and we covered those distinctions early on, and yous can read dat posty here. Anyways, pawt of bein’ a workin’ animal wegardless of which one yous awe is dat yous will hav to go outside and twavel wiff yous hooman at sum point. And yous gunna hav to wear a leash. Well what dat leash is attached to can be numerous fings, but mommy purrfurs and so duz me, da harness. And weez purrfur da jacket style hawness ovew da fin stwappy ones. Ifin yous hav a badge it can be attached or sewn onto yous jacket hawness much easier. Mommy wuz gunna sew meez Service badge on meez hawness, but hers decided to attach it to da stwoller instead, cuz meez always in there when weez go out unless weez awe visitin’ sumpawdy. But meez job is to take cawe of mommy. And cuz she found out it works so well when weez hav stowms. Sumtimes da badges make them a little stiff. So meez badge is on da stwoller and meez can wear da hawness anytime fur any weason.

And guess what? Meez been wearin’ it a lot lately. Weez been havin sum pawful stowms here. Let me tell ya’ they’ve been so pawful even mommy’s been jumpin’ sum and not able to sleep fwu them. Mommy sez da funder and lightning has been so loud and stwikin’ so close to ow pawtment dat even hers has been a little worried. See weez hav nuffin’ but woods behind ow pawtment and lots and lots of twees. Mommy sez all those tall twees awe like a bunch of lightnin’ rods. It’s a fire waitin’ to happen. And hers been so excited ‘bout hers new chair dat yous all helped get hers, she hasn’t wanted to leav it. MOL But fur meez new and yous older furiends too we took a little video of me and meez hawness duwin’ a wecent stowm. Da idea bein’ don’t giv up. Even ifin yous kitty dwops like dead weight when yous first put da hawness on ‘em, keep da faiff. A foo minutes a day at first and work up fwum there. Once kitty is comfy wiff da hawness, attach da leash and leav it fur a foo minutes a day. Eventually add yous selff to da udder end and work up to goin’ outside. But purrlease member to tweat yous kitty fur fleas and all da dangers and hazards of outside life afur yous take them out into da big bad world. And make suwe yous kitty has tags, a micwoship or tattoo. Sum form of identification in da event of da worst. And when weez say tattoo, weez not mean “awt”. Lexi has an ID tattoo in hers ear, cuz when she wuz little dat wuz da pawpular method of id’in’ an animal. It wuz like da purrcursor to da micwochip. Which sis Lexi and me also hav. And a small update, all da boxes awe unpacked, and now mommy’s twyin’ to get evewyfin’ put back where it belongs. Mostly knick knacks and such, but cuz hers keeps twyin’ to be too many places at once and hers awfur-itis is actin’ up cuz of all da rain,  she just hasn’t had enuff time yet to get it dun. But don’t worry, weez member yous all wanna tour da house and da new stuffs. 🙂
