Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. Kittens we’re getting’ a late start today. With the weather bein’ up and down and all over the place, mommy’s body be screamin’. I’s thought we’d never settle down fur sleep last night.

We didn’t Raena. 5:30 a.m. ain’t night time; it’s the wee, wee hours of the meownin’. Fankfully, we didn’t have to worry ‘bout gettin’ ‘round at any purrticular time so we could get in some cuddle time with mommy.

Yeah Raena, me does. Me says a kitty can never have too many scratchers. Y, Even a kitty without claws needs a good scratcher. Purrlease, don’t interpret that statement to mean declawing is okay. Never declaw your kitty.

(Dezi and Raena shudder as they think about having their paw knuckles amputated) Oh sissy, I’s can’t even ‘magine what that would be like. Fanky fankfully, we’ll never have to know. It didn’t take us long to check it out, did it Raena? We didn’t get the toy Chewy mentions in the description. As soon as mommy put it on the floor me was all over it. Least me was till you came and stuck your floofy paws on it.

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. I’s gotta tell ya’, I’s was so happy that we actually got to visit a few of our furiends yesfurday. There was a break in the storm so I’s went to find sis Dezi so we could get mommy to help us with that opposable thumb thing. Ifin any of ya’ have actually seen our paws, then you know, the keys on those silly keyboards are way to small, so we have to have a little help. Anyways, I’s found sissy UTB (under the bed) and told her it was safe to come out. I’s told her the stupid noisy lawn crew had furinally got rained out and left and the storm had let up.

Yeah Raena, like me couldn’t hear it fur me’s self?. Do you think me’s deaf or somethin’?

‘Course not sissy, but you were still unner the bed even tho the noises had stopped. I’s just knew you wanted to see what our furiends were up too just as much as I’s did.

Did you ever think that me may have still been unner the bed cuz me wanted a little purr-ivacy or space? You know, me’s a mature ladycat and sometimes me needs a little time to me’s self.

What fur sissy? Why would you ever wanna be alone? I’s never wanna be away from mommy or you fur that matter. I’s just luvs ya’ll sooooooo much.

Don’t even think ‘bout huggin’ on me, Raena. Me luvs to be ‘round mommy and even you; but, that doesn’t mean me has to do it all the time. Ifin mommy had really needed me, all she had to do is call fur me. She knows that. And since you can’t seem to pull yourself away from her, then you could’a called me ifin mommy couldn’t have. You know, you’re always in the middle of everythin’. Mommy couldn’t even get in the fridge to get the milk fur her cheater mac last night cuz you were where you always are, right in the middle of the floor. You know our fridge door opens backwards. Mommy did it on purr-puss to help keep the furs out.

I’s only there sissy, in case mommy needs me. I’s don’t wanna miss anythin’. And, mommy could get in the fridge, all she had to do is open the door. I’s really good at squishin’ down unner the door.

Sure Raena. That may have been true when you were smaller, but you don’t flatten much anymore. You know how much you luv the groceries. Girl, you’re hiney’s gonna be the size of Texas befur long.

Is not. That’s not very nice sissy. Have you seen yours in a mirror lately? You can put away the groceries too ya’ know. You’re always tryin’ to steal mine’s noms after you eat all of yours. Anyways, I’s moved so mommy could finish makin’ her cheater mac. I’s even got a bite of cheddar. I’s really luvs cheese, it’s so tasty.

And fattenin’. that’s why you don’t fit unner the door anymore. MOL

Anyways…as I’s was meowin’ earlier, befur you so rudely innerupted me. After I’s found ya’ unner the bed, we went to get mommy to help us visit our furiends and there she was, on the fone yellin’ at someone ‘bout how they be lyin’ and robbin’ us blind. I’s thought we were never gonna get her to hang up the fone. Hmmmpht

Well she did Raena, and we furinally visited some of our furiends. Hopefully we can visit more today.

I’s sure hope so sissy. Ya’ know, we should tell everypawdy ‘bout awnty Paulette’s new book. We’ve not read it, so we can’t actually review it, but she’s had a few best seller’s and more ‘purrtantly, she uses all the profits to help rescue doggies. It’s called A Different Kind of Angel, and you can check it out here. Keep up the good work awnty Paulette. And did you hear that we’re gonna have a play date with our furiend Prancie soon? I’s luvs play dates, don’t you?

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. I’s gotta tell ya’, I’s not likin’ the way things are goin’ ‘round here. I’s mean, it’s like mommy done furgot all ‘bout our nightly cuddle time, and I’s can’t ‘member the last time I’s had a treat. What’s up with that? I’s know I’s not that in to treats and all, but still…it’d be nice to be offured a couple every now and then. And Kittens!!!! Mine’s eye is really botherin’ me. Everytime I’s look up it’s gone and got all gooey again. And then mommy tries to chase me down to put medicine in ‘em. Seems all this humidity makes ‘em act up. Hmmmpht

RaenaBelle!!! You sure don’t sound like yourself. Grumpy cat’s got nuffin’ on you. What’s got you in such a tizzy?

Haven’t you’s been payin’ attention sissy? Do I’s have to repeat mine’s self?

No Raena, you don’t need to repeat all that nonsense. And you know that’s ‘zactly what it is, nonsense. You know mommy luvs you and luvs cuddle time. She wouldn’t miss it ifin she could help it. Besides, you’ve been gettin’ lots of extra lap luvvin’ time lately, so you’ve got nuffin’ to complain ‘bout. And, me heard you gettin’ treats just the other day.

Uh…Me was unner the bed lookin’ fur intruders. Yep, that’s what me was doin’, alright. With all these storms ya’ just never know what might crawl thru the walls. And, as the oldest, it’s me’s job to purrtect me’s family. Me’s gotta tell ya’, me liked it much better when me was the baby and all this respawnsibility was sis Lexi’s. Me doesn’t now how she did it all. She really was the Service Cat Extraordinaire.

Aaaaaw sissy, I’s sure she had days when she wished she was still the baby too. After all, I’s ‘member you tellin’ me that she was the baby fur the furst 6 years of her life. And I’s bet that as extraordinary as she was, you’re just as special. I’s think you’re a great big sisfur. (Raena whispers) Least most of the time. (Raena looks up) Anyways, did you know that cuz we missed postin’ on Furiday, that we also missed the blooper blog hop? You know the foto fails with the Cuddlywumps. And we missed Feline Furiday with Comedy Plus.

Yeah Raena me heard. It’s a shame too, cuz goodness knows we’ve got tons of failed fotos.

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. Can you believe it’s stormin’…Again!. Let me tell ya’, outside showers aren’t the only ones we’ve had ‘round here. Kittens, You should’a seen it. I’s mean, it’s hard to believe ifin ya’ don’t actually witness it. But trust me, ya’ll oughtta be glad mommy wasn’t reachin’ fur the camera. (Raena shudders) Ugh It was sooooo gross.

RaenaBelle, you’re ramblin’ on over there but nopawdy has a clue what you’re meowin’ ‘bout.

Welllllll, You ought to sissy, that’s fur sure. I’s meowin’ ‘bout your purrjectile when mommy was tryin’ to talk to her counselor. What a disgustin’ mess. There we sat, mommy visitin’ with her counselor, me layin’ at mommy’s feet to purrtect her just in case and you layin’ on the liberty cat tree. We thought you were nappin’ when out of nowhere you hurled purrjectile hairballs from one side of the room to the other. (Raena shudders again and makes a wincing face) Ya’ know, ifin you’re gonna do somethin’ like that, you’re s’posed to warn us furst. Usually there’s the heavin’ and gulpin’ long befur the final blap. But nooooooo, you just hurled everywhere. Half digested brekky and furballs went everywhere, in mommy’s purrse, all over the tree, the catputer, our tunnel and toys, mommy and even me!!!

Me couldn’t help it Raena, it had to come out. Mommy’s counselor didn’t mind. All she said was, “Is that a hairball?” You know, she doesn’t have any kitties. But, she’s used to seein’ kitties do things durin’ her visits. ‘Member when she told mommy ‘bout that patient of hers that had a kitty who peed on his humans counter durin’ her visit? Least me didn’t do anythin’ like that. (Dezi licks her paw and rubs it across her face)

That’s not the point sissy. (Raena shakes her head) Anyways, Meowin’ of feline behaviors, we need to meow ‘bout some behavior modifyin’ purroducts we received a couple of weeks ago from ThunderWorks. They’re the peeps that made the original ThunderShirt. They recently released some new purroducts, a pheremone plug in and pheremone spray, fur kitties and woofies. We received the Calming Spray and Calming Diffuser Kit fur kitties and also one fur woofies. Mommy was anxious to give ‘em a try cuz you decided to stop usin’ the pawtty box when mommy put that clay stuff in our pawtty boxes. And cuz it’s stormin’ season and mommy hates it when you hide out UTB all the time.

Me’s not hidin’ Raena!!! As fur the pawtty box, well that’s not your concern. That’s t’ween mommy and me. Anyways, me was curious ifin these Calmin’ purroducts would work any better than the others we’ve tried. Mommy immediately plugged in the diffuser and sprayed some of that Calmin’ Spray all over the cat tree, the bathroom and even down the hall.

Is there somethin’ you need to tell us mommy? Are we gettin’ a woofie?

Yep sissy, we had a little flehmen contest goin’ on. Who could take in the biggest sniff. I’s don’t really need any behavior modification cuz I’s purrfect…

Oh Raena, you just lied…big time.

I’s did not, sissy. Mommy says I’s purrfect just the way I’s is.

Just cuz mommy says you’re purrfect doesn’t mean everythin’ you do is right Raena. You layin’ on the pawtty box and whappin’ me’s tail might have a little somethin’ to do with me’s pawtty box habits too ya’ know. Anyways, mommy had hoped that the Thunder Ease purroducts would help us. The Diffuser contains 2% of feline facial pheremones and the Spray contains 10%. Facial pheremones are the feel good ones, so they’re s’posed to make us less stressed and more docile. Let’s see what @ThunderShirtCompany says ‘bout their Calming purroducts:
