Mommy’s havin’ some complications from her recent surgery that we’ll tell ya’ ‘bout in another posty, cuz today…it’s all ‘bout ME!!! Mommy and sissy said so. I’s such a blest kitty. I’s can’t hardly believe I’s been alive a whole year. And what a year it’s been. From a stinky dark corner cage to a furever home with a mommy who luvs and adores me, and the wide world of bloggin’. I’s could have never ‘magined how mine’s little life woulda turned out the day mommy came to save me.
I’s showed up and you all welcomed me with open arms. I’s blest to have furiends and awnties and uncles who luvs me. I’s even get to be a review kitty fur lots of great products. And I’s even got some purresents to celebrate mine’s big day. But befur we get to all the goodies, let me meow a meowsy big Fanky fank ya’ to awnty Vonda, awnty Anonymous, Chewy, and OMC awnty Ellen. Check out what she sent me. Don’t worry awnties, I’s sharin’. Mommy says I’s a propurr Southern Belle and have great manners…
Most of the time, Raena. Get it straight now, mommy says you have great manners, most of the time. Me knows we don’t always get along, but me really is glad that you’re me’s sisfur. Ifin me has to have one, me’s glad it’s you.

Yeah, yeah, get off me. Let’s get this pawrty started. Stay as long as ya’ want. We’ve got treats and noms, toys, and nip, and even some vine. The tunnel’s set up, and there’s nip mats and beds, blankets and pillows, so you can crash here ifin ya’ want. Just ‘member to use the boxes. Mommy’s not in the mood to be cleanin’ the floors. MOL She even put down some extra piddle pads fur any hurlin’ ya’ might need to do ifin ya’ purrtake a little too much.

There’s a fountain in every room, and mommy even left the faucet drippin’ fur those of ya’ who wanna get it uber furesh. I’s just glad you all could come to mine’s pawrty. Fitz, Timmy, Einstein, Toby, Buddy, Buttons and Rumpy, mommy said ya’ll were stayin’ the weekend, so enjoy the nip and vine. RaenaBelle!!! Those aren’t sleeps. Me doesn’t know zactly what to call them, but they aren’t sleeps. Mommy and the doctor just call them noddin’ off. A sleep is when we go to bed at night and snuggle with mommy.
I’s can’t hardly wait sissy. We’ve got so many toys fur all of our furiends to play with. I’s sure hope everypawdy stops by. We’ve even got this new treat puzzle called the Cat Amazing Best Cat Toy Ever Puzzle Toy. Now that’s a name.

Hmmpht Me’s too lazy smart fur that puzzle toy Raena. Why would me go to all that trouble to fish out a couple treats, when all me has to do is give mommy that look and she gladly gives me treats. Me thinks this would be a great toy fur young kitties, and maybe even a great tool fur the overweight kitty. Ya’ know, they could work fur their dinner. Ifin they eat kibble that is. Cuz it’s made of carboard, you can’t actually put wet noms in it. Me can see the benefits of the Amazing Cat Toy Puzzle, and can ‘magine several good uses fur it, so me gives it 2 paws up.
I’s can ‘magine some great uses fur it too, sissy. You know a human could put some treats and maybe a catnip mousey inside to keep kitty occupied while their human goes to work or shoppin’. You know, I’s not the only kitty with Separation Anxiety issues. I’s think the puzzle is great, we’re just a little spoiled. And I’s with you; why would I’s go to all that trouble fur a couple of treats when mommy will hand feed them to me. MOL So I’s give it 2 paws up too. Mommy says she had hoped it would keep me occupied a little longer, but she also figgered we might be too smart and have her trained too well, to truly fish fur treats. MeOW What a week. We’re havin’ Montezuma type storms. Mommy says somethin’ ‘bout April showers bringin’ May flowers, but me doesn’t think these storms are gonna bring anythin’ good.

It means they’re bad Raena. And ifin me wants to call them Montezuma storms, me can.
You’re right sissy. But other than the storms, it’s been a good week. We got good news ‘bout mommy, had a play date with furiends, and I’s got a Chewy box full of Birthday gifts. And now, it’s Resurrection Sunday.
That’s true Raena. No matter what else is happenin’ there’s always blessings in everythin’. Our church has been havin’ their annual Easter Campmeeting this week too. You know how much we luv mommy singin’, and all week there’s been lots of singin’ and worship.
I’s luvs purrayer time too, sissy. You know, mommy always puts her hands on us and thanks God fur us and asks Him to keep us healthy and happy.
And we always purray fur our furiends and ask God to bless them and their furmilies and to send healing to those in need. We are sendin’ some extra purrayers today fur awnty Barb. We got word while we were purrpurrin’ this posty that our sweet furiend Nellie has left this world. We know sis Lexi and Nellie are zoomin’ like kittens again. They’re purrobably havin’ their own campmetting. Campmeeting is always so much fun. It’s like Blest Sunday, every day. Me’s kinda sad it’s gonna be over.
Me too, sissy. But it’s endin’ on a good note, Resurrection Sunday. The day the peeps celebrate the resurrection of Jesus; the reason we can get answers to our purrayers.
You’re right Raena, and so long as we keep Jesus in our hearts, we can actually continue to celebrate every day. Now, what did you get in that great Chewy box?
Oh sissy, I’s got one of those great Kong scratchers, some fuzzy mice, a great new wand toy, these really cool bubbles, treats and guess what else? We got our very own telepawtin’, time travelin’ tunnel!!! Now all our furiends can just transpawt over in no time. Can you believe it?
That’s pawsum Raena. Me can’t wait to try out that tunnel fur meself. Can you believe mommy thought we’d be ‘fraid of those bubbles? They are so much fun.
They sure are sissy. Mommy blew on this stick and bubbles went everywhere. And they lasted a long time too. Did you see mommy jump when she ran into one of those bubbles in the kitchen an hour after we stopped playin’?
MOL Me sure did Raena. That was sooooo funny. Me thinks she thought it was some kind of giant bug at furst. MOL And hey, don’t furget the pawsum box all those gifts came in.
I’s really like this birthday thing sissy. Can we have another one next month?
Raena, birthdays only happen once a year. But the good news is that next month is mommy’s birthday, and she purrtends it’s ours so we get the birthday treatment all month again.

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me RaenaBelle. I’s made it thru another day without mommy. But just barely. And OMC yesfurday was just pawful.
What are you meowin’ on ‘bout Raena?
I’s tellin’ everypawdy ‘bout how pawful yesfurday was sissy. How mommy left us home to go to her ‘pointment with Ms. Navy. I’s just getting’ to the even worst pawrt. You know the Storm?! You was s’posed to be in charge, but you spent most of the day UTB and left me all alone.
You weren’t all alone, me invited our furiends Alberto and Ollie from Feline Opines to come over and play. Is it me’s fault that the skies decided to storm, and ya’ll didn’t know what to do?
Well, I’s guess not. But still, you were s’posed to be in charge. We needed you to play with the wand toy with us. Or help us get the ‘lectric toys down, cuz mommy put them up.
Mommy put the ‘lectric toys up Raena, cuz the batteries are dead and she hasn’t gotten any new ones. Mommy says she thinks the world runs on double and triple A batteries. But there were purrlenty of other toys fur ya’ll to play with, includin’ the cat trees. Can me help it ifin the thunder boomers scared ya’ll off the tree? It wasn’t botherin’ me UTB (under the bed).
Those thunder boomers was loud, sissy. Mommy’s s’posed to be here with us, when we have bad weather. Mommy’s s’posed to purrtect us.
Yep Raena, me agrees. But sometimes, mommy’s have to do things they don’t necessarily want to do that takes them away from us fur a short time. We’re really blest that we usually get to go with mommy or that she is home with us most of the time. Some of our furiends our left alone everyday while their humans go to work and stuffs. And besides, we were just as safe as we woulda been ifin mommy had’a been here.
Hmmmpht I’s sure glad mommy doesn’t leave us alone everyday.
Me is too Raena. But it’s purrfectly normal fur peeps to work, or go shoppin’ all without their kitties. And ya’ know what? Those kitties are just fine stayin’ by themselves.
Well sissy, that’s pawsum that so many kitties are fine, but that’s not the way we live. I’s don’t like it when mommy goes somewhere without us. I’s sure hope those days are over.
Me too Raena, cuz lissenin’ to you caterwaul at the door gets on me’s nerves. Fankfully, mommy’s ‘pointment yesfurday went well. She wasn’t really aware of how serious this sinus thing was, cuz when the doctor’s office called to confurm her re-check, they said she was on a “Sinus Watch”, and that it was really ‘purrtant she make her re-check ‘pointment. The doctor told mommy that she was healin’ like a teenager. She actually said, “like a fifteen year old”. They all had a good laff, as mommy’s not been a teenager fur a very long time. MOL Mommy still has to abstain from blowin’ her nose fur another 2 weeks cuz of this sinus thing. ‘Pawrnetly, it’s pawssible fur mommy to blow a hole open into her sinuses that could lead to infection and even death ifin it doesn’t close purropurrly. But the good news is, that she can furinally eat somethin’ besides Malt O Meal and baked smashed taters. She still can’t eat crunchy foods, but soft foods are on the menu goin’ furward. WooHoo Least till the next round of dental work. MOL
