Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. Ifin ya’ follow us on that facebook thingy then you already know, I’s been a little unner the weather lately. I’s a hungry girl to be sure, I’s just havin’ a little trouble keepin’ mine’s noms in mine’s tummy where they belong. Mommy fixes mine’s plate, I’s eat and then a few minutes later I’s horkin’ that stuff all over the place. Actually, mommy says I’s a really good girl cuz I’s only throw up a little on the tile wood floor. I’s save the biggest blah fur the litterbox. Altho’ it doesn’t seem to matter where I make mine’s depawsits, mommy still cries. Yesfurday I’s suddenly got the wheezy sneezies right alongside the horkin’. I’s really ‘purreciate all of ya’ fur sendin’ up some purrayers fur me. Since I’s just went to the V E T fur mine’s yearly visit, our credit is maxed out. I’s not know what that pawrt means, but the gist of it is that we can’t go see the doctor till mommy pays it off. So, purrayers it is. God’s better than that ole V E T anyways.

You’re right ‘bout that Raena, God’s better at everythin’. And, me and mommy are purrayin’ hard. Me heard mommy sayin’, she hoped it was just a stubborn ole hairball, and that that hairball paste she forced down you would help. Me doesn’t know why you don’t like the malty (hairball paste)?. It tastes so yummy.

It’s medicine, sissy?. We’re not s’posed to like medicine. Don’t you read how our furiends act when it’s medicine time? We make things way to easy fur mommy. I’s had to object to somethin’ just to keep her on her toes.

Just cuz everypawdy else does it doesn’t mean we’re s’posed too Raena. We’re s’posed to be good examples and happily take our medicine. Besides, malty ain’t medicine, it’s a nommy treat. Anyways, Me’s wanted to fank everypawdy fur the birthday wishes. Me’s birthday month has started off with a bang. Me got lots of extra luvvin’, a relaxin’ groomin’ session and some treats from the Chewy Goody Box and Birthday box. What more could a girly ask fur? Well sissy, ifin you weren’t takin’ up the whole bed, you wouldn’t have gotten scratched.

That doesn’t even make any sense Raena. Have you been on the nip already this meownin’?

Girls, Be Nice. I need both of you next to me when I sleep. You know I can’t sleep without ya’. Now apologize and let’s get to your Blest Sunday posty.

Sorry mommy. Sorry Raena. Mommy’s right, we need to get to our Blest Sunday post. We’re blest to have a bed to lay on and stretch out on. We’re blest to have a furever home full of luv. We’re blest to have furiends and family that luv and suppurrt us.

I’s sorry too, sissy. We are very Blest. Hey, did you see mommy’s calendar? It says today is National Cat Day. I’s thought every day was Cat Day, so I’s pawed in to google and found out that National Cat Day started in 2005 to bring awareness to all the homeless kitties in the world. And, of course, to celebrate the luvs of a cat.

That’s true Raena. Me was just meowin’ ‘bout how Blest we are. There are thousands upon thousands of kitties who will never know the luv of a human or the warmth of their very own bed. Some will never even know the feelin’ of a full tummy. It makes us so sad to think ‘bout those kitties less furtunate than us. As most peeps know, we’re a purretty poor family when it comes to the green papers. But, we are teemin’ with luv. Ya’ know, me’s birthday is Wednesday. 7 years ago me was a sickly kitty who purrobably would have died ifin not fur mommy. We wish every kitty could have a luvvin’ furever home. There’s so much that can be done to help these kitties. Even ifin ya’ don’t have green papers.

Even mommy can take a decent foto every once in a while. MOL

Sure ‘nuff sissy. You can volunteer at a shelter or rescue, donate old towels, sheets, toys, cleanin’ supplies, food and so much more. Maybe, you’re good with the camera. You don’t have to be a purrfessional, just willin’ to donate a little time to take a few fotos of kitties waitin’ in shelters to be posted online. A good foto is worth a thousand words. And, it just might be the thing that helps get that kitty adopted. Or maybe ya’ got some energy to burn and can spend some time just playing with and socializin’ some kitties. A confident kitty stands a far better chance of getting’ adopted than one who cowers in their pawtty box.

We tried several varieties includin’ the chicken and quail egg. They ain’t kitten ya’ when they say “quail egg”.

MOL Oh Raena, that was so funny. Mommy opened the can and took one look and kind’a stirred it ‘round, and then she laffed too. There’s a half a quail egg in there. They couldn’t even give us the whole egg.

I’s don’t think it would’a mattered sissy. I’s took a few licks and walked away. I’s had already turned mine’s nose up to the chicken and duck and chicken and pork, and the half of a quail egg wasn’t any more appetizin’. I’s sure there are some kitties out there that would luvs the Tiki Cat After Dark, but I’s ain’t that kitty.

It’s okay Raena, we can’t like everythin’. We do know there are kitties who would like it. Sis Lexi used to scarf her TikiCat down like there was no tomorrow. Ifin she were still here, she’d be givin’ it 4 paws up. There’s a few ingredients mommy doesn’t care fur, so all in all, we’d give the TikiCat After Dark noms 1 paw up. The furst three ingredients of all the flavors are quality proteins. There’s purrlenty of broth in each can fur the liquid luvvin’ or liquid deprived kitties, and they are high in protein. We learned that’s a good thing for CKD kitties and kitties needin’ to gain a few pounds.

While we might not care fur these noms, we do luvs our Chewy. They have lots of great purroducts fur all your furry, feathered, scaled and even furless family members.
