MeOW C’mon RaenaBelle, it’s Blest Sunday. And do we ever have the Blessings to give Fanks fur. Me just luvs givin’ Fanks, don’t you?

Yep sissy, I’s do, cuz it means we have another day to lives and luvs. Looks like Summer arrived and kicked Spring on down the road. I’s guess that’s okay tho’, mommy said Spring wouldn’t be stayin’ long. It’s turned really hot and there’s been lots of fun teevee to watch from mine’s purrch. Y, I’s saw birdy’s and wasps and bunnies last week. Mommy says the waspys are dangerous and she’s always sprayin’ somethin’ outside to make ‘em go away. They must not be too smart tho’, cuz they just keep comin’ back fur more.

Yep Raena, mommy’s ‘lergic to waspys, so that’s why she’s always tryin’ to shoo ‘em off. Now where did you see those bunnies? Me didn’t see any bunnies.

They were right outside sissy, eatin’ the grass and flowers. There’ll be more bunnies to see, don’t worry summer’s furinally here. In the meantime, we oughtta give fanky fanks fur the nice weather and all our furiends.

Me is fankful fur the nice warm weather Raena. And of course me’s always fankful fur our furiends. Meowin’ of furiends, mommy got a birthday card last week from awnty Mary Beth and uncle Garth. And they also included a card from Gizmo and the rest of the furry family. Mommy thought that was just the sweetest thing ever.

Ain’t that the truth sissy?. She also got a card and some green papers yesfurday from one of our Anonymous awnties, that made her smile. Actually, I’s think it was more of a big o’l grin rather than a smile. Mommy’s kind’a embarrassed right now cuz she doesn’t have a tooth in her mouth.

Oh Raena meowin’ of mommy’s toothlessness, she had furgotten till recently that she had to renew her driver’s license befur the end of May. Ya’ know license fotos aren’t meant to be purrtraits, but mommy’s always gotten all purrettied up fur the foto anyways. Ya’ know she paints her face and fixes her hair and gets ready to pose and smile her big teeth showin’ smile. But, this year she doesn’t have any teeth fur that smile, so when she sat down to have her foto taken, all she could do was grin. She looks so funny, kind’a like a blowfish or somethin’.

Sissy, that’s not very nice of you to compare mommy to a blowfish. Besides, how do you even know what a blowfish looks like?

C’mon Raena, mommy knows she looks funny without any teethies. Her lips have all but disappeared. She keeps pushin’ ‘em out cuz she says skinny lips mean she’s gettin’ old. And you know how much mommy hates lookin’ old. MOL

That’s the truth sissy, she blames every wrinkle and gray hair on us. I’s can’t ‘magine why she would even think such a thing.

Me neither Raena. Oh well, we’ll think ‘bout that tomorrow. Me wonders how many of our furiends might be the cause of their peeps wrinkles and gray hairs? Anyways, we wanna Fank all our furiends fur their luv and fur sharin’ their lives with us. As always, we’d like to remind you all to take a minute today and every day to give Thanks fur the Blessings in your lives.

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. I’s meowed to ya’ll that we’re not very tech savvy didn’t I’s? Well, it seems mine’s request fur our blogger bloggin’ furiends to turn on the Name and URL option fur us to comment doesn’t actually exist. ‘Stead, ya’ll/they have to allow comments from Anonymous fur the Name and URL option to appear. Now I’s’ll be honest of course and meow that we don’t know ‘zactly what that means fur ya’ll, but we sure do ‘purreciate ya’ll makin’ it easier fur us to comment.

We sure do Raena. Me doesn’t know why it has to be so hard in the furst place. Fur somethin’ that’s s’posed to be social and bring peeps together, this innernet sure can be unwelcomin’ sometimes. Seems the only peeps who don’t have any trouble communicatin’ are the spammers. Mommy says she doesn’t unnerstand how 4500 spammers can actually send us mail in one 15 minute time frame in the furst place. And who wants to be 5 inches bigger in less than a minute? Me just doesn’t get it.

Hmmmm This is innerestin’ mommy. What is it?

Ain’t that the truth sissy. In the last week since signin’ into google one time fur less than a minute, we’ve been offured Asian beauties, Russian wives, naked ladies, stamina inducin’ pills, loans, grants, credit cards and to become bazillionaires many times over. Those last peeps even call us their dearly beloved’s. Anyways, it’s a real shame that the innernet’s full of peeps who wanna scam unsuspectin’ kitties in the furst place.

Enuff ‘bout those spammers and scammers Raena, me doesn’t think they’re goin’ away any time soon and me doesn’t wanna give them any more time.

You’re right sissy. Hey, did you see the new hide away we got?

Hmmmpht Me knows that Raena. Me meant did mommy order it fur us or what?

No sissy. Seems we won it in a drawin’ they had at BlogPaws. We were purretty x’cited to win anythin’, but we actually weren’t sure what it was. And, it arrived in two different boxes on two different days. So, mommy put the bottom together and thought that was it. When we got the second box, she thought maybe they messed up and sent us a second one. It was a much smaller box, but the foto on the box looked the same. That is till mommy furinally opened the second box last night.

Me ‘members Raena. She was squealin’ somethin’ ‘bout how cute and how much we were gonna luv it. Me can tell ya’ what me did luv…watchin’ mommy fallin’ all over herself tryin’ to put that nifty canopy on our new pet cot from K&H Pet Products.

Yeah sissy, mommy is kind’a funny when she’s tryin’ to put things together fur us. Ifin we could only work the camera. The stories we could meow. Anyways, I’s really like the new pet cot, what ‘bout you sissy?

Me likes it too Raena. It kind’a reminds me of those hammocks we had wanted a while back. Me’s glad we won it, and that mommy didn’t kill herself puttin’ it together. MOL

Yep sissy, I’s was concerned fur a minute that she was gonna take a nose dive right in the middle of it when she was tryin’ to attach the canopy. Ya’ know, mommy has broken a few of our toys by fallin’ on ‘em. Fanky fankfully, she managed to keep both feet on the floor. Guess we oughtta wrap it up fur now. Mommy says she has lots of human things to do befur the end of this month. That means she’s only got one more day. Maybe I’s can enjoy a little nap on the new pet cot since mommy’s put the camera away.

Raena, what are you doin’?

Did you read all the comments on our Service Cat Monday posty sissy? Everybody thinks I’s so smart.

Me read them, and you are smart. But, you shouldn’t let that give you the big head. ‘Member, mommy says it’s always better to be humble. Peeps don’t like a smarty pants.

Just what does that mean, anyways? What’s a smarty pants. Cuz, I’s not wear any pants, lessen ya’ count mine’s bloomers. And while we’re at it, what’s this smarty pants fone? Ya’ know when we went to mommy’s doctors ‘pointment last week, mommy furgot to take the camera…as usual. And she was sayin’ how she needed one of those smarty pants fones so she’d always have a camera available.

Why? What did you do?

I’s didn’t do anythin’ sissy, but there was this gigantor bunny rabbit outside the farmacy that mommy said she’d like to take our foto with. He was rockin’ and wavin’ in the wind, and I’s not so sure I’s would’a wanted to have mine’s foto taken with him. But, mommy says it would’a been sooooooooo cute.

Yeah Raena, mommy likes things like that. She thinks we’d look so adorable up next to those decorations.

What kind’a decoration is a big ole bunny with a basket, sissy?

It signifies Easter, Raena. Me’s doesn’t actually unnerstand it all either, cuz mommy says Easter is all ‘bout the resurrection of Jesus. But it seems that some peeps celebrate by hidin’ funny colored eggs, and then carryin’ ‘round baskets and huntin’ fur those eggs. And me thinks they believe this bunny called Peter Cottontail lays ‘em. And of course as with any human holiday, there’s chocolates involved too.

That don’t sound right sissy. Bunnies don’t lay eggs??. Do they??. I’s gonna ask mommy ‘bout all this, or maybe Speedy. He’s a bunny, surely he knows ’bout all this?.

Fine, don’t believe me. See ifin me answers any more of your questions.

Oh sissy, I’s believe you. Don’t get hissy. (Raena mumbles under her breath)

You still haven’t told me what a smarty pants is, or a smarty pants fone fur that matter. (Raena turns to look at Dezi and excitedly meows)

Hey, have you been workin’ on mine’s birthday pawrty?

Me has, Raena. But what ifin it was gonna be a surprise? You shouldn’t be askin’ ‘bout it.

But it’s not a surprise, right? Cuz we’ve all been talkin’ ‘bout it?.

No Raena, it’s not a surprise. What do you think ‘bout this fur your invitation?

That’s really cool sissy. Are we havin’ a circus?

I’s don’t know sissy, I’s never been to a circus befur.

Well, our ‘pawrtment purrobably isn’t big enuff fur a circus Raena, but don’t worry, it’ll be lots of fun. Birthday’s are always fun here. Mommy always wants us to feel really special and extra luvved. Come on, let’s go finish brekky and take a nap. We’ve got an inspection today, and the exterminator’s here too. So mommy’s gonna have to get ready to mop. Those exterminators’ always make a huge mess by sprayin’ that poison in the middle of the floor and all up and down the walls. Mommy says their vision must be worse than hers. MOL That’s why she likes to spray our ‘pawrtment herself. Besides, the stuffs they use is so watered down, it doesn’t really kill anythin’.

That Bengal stuffs mommy uses really works good. But it should; after all, it’s named after a cat. MOL Do we have a play date fur tomorrow sissy? You know, mommy’s goin’ back to the dental surgeon fur her recheck, and again, she plans to leave both of us here.

Yep, Raena, me’s invited some furiends over to play and keep you occupied while mommy’s gone. (Hearing the alert alarms of other apartments getting closer, and seeing the lawn crew’s truck drive up, Dezi heads down from her perch atop the Liberty tree and meows to Raena)

You better hurry Raena, it’s fixin’ to get really loud ‘round here.

What are you caterwaulin’ ‘bout now, Raena?

I’s not caterwaulin’ sissy. As a matter of fact, I’s asked mommy what caterwaulin’ is and she says, I’s never caterwaul.

Yeah, well, mommy luvs you. And she luvs it when we meow to her, so that’s why she said that. Trust me, you caterwaul.

Hey, sissy? Nellie asked me ifin I was gonna be a minx like her, when I’s grow up. What’s a minx?

Uh, well, Uh, You’re too young to be learnin’ ‘bout those things. You just keep havin’ fun on your little play dates and don’t worry ‘bout what you’ll be when ya’ grow up.

But sissy, It’s mine’s furst birthday month. Aren’t I’s grown up?

Trust me Raena, you ain’t no where near grown up. There’s purrlenty of time befur you have to make those kinds of decisions. As a matter of fact, me invited Alberto and Oliver of the Feline Opines over fur a play date next week when mommy has to go back to the dental surgeon fur her check up. Maybe we could just have a pawrty?

A pawrty? Like mine’s birthday pawrty?

Not your birthday pawrty, Raena. Mommy wants to be here fur that. But maybe like a purree birthday pawrty. We could invite Shoko and Kali, Snoops and Kommando Kitty, Kosmo, Phenny, and you could ask Simon, and maybe Teddy would like to come. And some of me’s cat scout furiends might wanna come too? And maybe…

We fur sure gotta invite Nellie, sissy. (Raena meows under her breath) I’s gotta find out ‘bout this minx thing.

Of course we’ll invite our dear furiend Nellie. Hmmmmm This is startin’ to look like a birthday pawrty. Maybe we just stick with Alberto and Oliver next week and well get invites out to everypawdy to come over fur your birthday pawrty on Furiday April 21st.

Oh sissy, that would be Pawsum!!! I’s can’t hardly wait. Ya’ reckon everypawdy will come?

Sure they will Raena. (Dezi crosses her paws behind her back and meows under her breath) And ifin they don’t, we’ll still have a good time.
