Oh meow weez got a gweat tweat to tell you ‘bout today. Chewy asked us to review sum fureeze dwied tweats fwum Orijen this mumff and we got ‘cited. Weez twied a few udder purrodcuts fwum Orijen and fur da most pawrt weez liked ‘em. And as most of you know we luv fureeze dwied tweats. They’re purawlly one of our favowits. But what flavor wuld we be twyin’ this time we wunnewed? Mommy wusn’t tellin’ so when da box awwived we was all over it.

Well yes, Lexi you was da one all over it, but me was close by. Me was just as ‘cited as you to find out what was in it. So mommy opened it up and…Orijen Wild Boar Treats? OMC Dat be what bacon’s made of, wight sissy?

Well there was no waitin’, we wanted a taste wight then. So mommy opened da bag and pulled out a kupple tweats each and offered ‘em to us. What do yous fink sissy? Awe they good?

Happy Caturday to you all. Weez got sunshine and wind, and…a FLASH FLOOD Warnin’. OMC Can yous believe it? And here we fawt da rain was gone fur da summer. MOL Summer in da Souff means unexpected wedder changes tho’ so weez just gunna enjoy da sun while it be here. Course weez been readin’ sum of our furiends posties fwum udder places and they be havin’ un-seasonal wedder too. So whose to say what be normal anymore. Anyways, enuff ‘bout da wedder weez got a yummy to share wiff ya’ today.

You know we luv our Chewy and we just got our auto-delivery fwum them a kupple days ago, so we have a gweat box fur boxin’ day. And we got our review box fur da mumff too. Yep 2 boxes at one time. You know how much us kitties luv boxes. Anyways weez gunna be tellin’ ya’ ‘bout da Nutro Perfect Portions today. Nutro be pawt of da Mars Pet Furmily. We met a lot of da Mars peeps at BlogPaws and got sum samples too. Mommy even got a teeshirt. These Perfect Portions meals are da size of one of da small cans they just be divided into separate containers so dat yous not have to put any in da fwidge ifin yous kitty not be able to eat da whole 3 ounces at one time. You can give one Perfect Portion and when kitty finishes and wants more you can give da udder half and it’s still furesh cuz it’s never been opened.

This is weally nice fur sissy wight now cuz hers been eatin’ gweat since BlogPaws, but it takes her a little longer to eat now. Well me went in to smell da blob on meez plate and…me walked away. Me dusn’t weally like da pate’s so mommy wasn’t like shocked dat me didn’t wanna eat it, but she had hoped me wuld at least twy it. So she doctored it a bit wiff sum nip and…No joy, me walked away again. So paws down fwum me. But mommy sez dat’s okay havin’ sumfin’ good fur Lexi dat she will eat and enjoy is enuff to counter meez down paws. Now what about dat guaranteed analysis? Steamy Ice Pups

Meowllo everypawdy how ya’ duin’?  Last year after BlogPaws there was a lot of give aways in Blogville, and we were able to twy sum food by a company named The Honest Kitchen. They make a dehydrated, raw, natural type of food dat yous add water to. You can even add more meat to da mix ifin yous want. We also won a recipe book fwum them wiff lots of recipes fur meals fur yous doggy and kitty usin’ their food. Well me actually liked da noms. One of da few wet noms me duz like. So when we had da oppurrtunity this mumff to twy sum tweats made by them, we jumped all over it. Chewy gives us such gweat options it’s sumtimes hawd to choose, but mommy was sure this wuld be a hit and she fawt she might even be able to use it to entice sis Lexi to eat.

It’s called Ice Pups, but it be fur dogs AND cats. And it can be served warm or furozen. Da ingredients awe Dehydrated chicken, turkey, whey, dandelion, asparagus, watercress, honey and parsley. They come in these little packets dat you mix wiff warm water. So mommy took a packet and emptied it in a bowl and added da 1 cup of warm water and stirred. Mommy sed it looked like an herb laden chicken broth. Anyways, she let it cool enuff so dat it wuldn’t burn our mouffs and poured a little in our bowls. She put da wemainder in an ice tway to fureeze fur a cold tweat later. We do like da occasional ice cube in our water. But mommy had alweady deetermined this wasn’t sumfin’ dat kuld be put in our water fountains cuz it was a bit oily like a chicken broth wuld be.

So bowls at da weady, mommy gwabbed a camera and she was weady fur da fun to begin. We of course was standin’ at da weady cuz we knew it was sumfin’ fur us. Mommy put our bowls down and got weady. But nuffin’ happened. Sissy kept lookin’ at mommy and lookin’ at da bowl and me just sat back and looked at mommy. So she stuck hers finger in meez bowl and got a little and put it on meez nose. Me stawrted lickin’ meez nose afur mommy kuld get da camera weady again, and as soon as me tasted it me ran fur da cat twee. Sissy be older and smawrter than me, so as soon as she saw what mommy did to me she was on da move away fwum all this. Mommy dusn’t like soup so why did she fink we wuld?. All paws down as a warm tweat and there won’t be any puttin’ it on sissy’s noms to get her to eat. So da next option was to twy it furozen. But mommy fawt we oughtta wait a few days afur twyin’ dat.

Well a few days later mommy was duin’ da dishes (dat be tweat time) and we was waitin’ so mommy pulled out da tway of ice pups. She put one each in our tweat bowls and got da camera weady. Again sissy looked at momm and da bowl and then walked away. Me sniffed and then headed fur da cat twee again. Don’t know how mommy planned to put dat on meez nose, but me wasn’t stickin’ wound to find out. So again we have to give these tweats a 4 paws down rating. We did ask our neighbot Buddy to twy them too, but hims wasn’t goin’ fur it eever. So it looks like even tho’ these be fur doggies and kitties they awe better off goin’ to da dogs who will eat anyfin’ includin’ yous shoes.

We hate to have to give an all paws down review, so mommy sez she wuld give it a 1/2 fumm up cuz it be all natural, made in da USA and good fur ya’. Those awe all fings mommy likes to see. Chicken Pot Pie

Meowllo everypawdy seems mommy needs to learn to sleep all day and get up at night. As we write this posty it be 10:30 p.m. and da stowm has ebbed fur da moment. It’s gunna pick back up in a few hours, but mommy will be worn out afur then and weady fur bed. So weez gunna miss purrime puter time. MOL Anyways, while da stowm be abated let me write meez posty. As you all know we be reviewers fur Chewy.com. We do luv Chewy. Well this mumff we got to twy sum canned noms. Mommy fawt it wuld be purrfect cuz they came in da small one meal cans so we kuld take ‘em to BlogPaws. Course we had to twy ‘em furst to make sure we wuld eat ‘em. No point in takin’ a food dat nopawdy will eat wight? Wight.

Anyways we got to twy da Hills Ideal Balance Crafted Savory Chicken Pot Pie with Buckwheat. Now ifin dat ain’t a name me dusn’t know what is. Nowmally we don’t like Hill’s foods, but these did look appetizin’ and da phosphorous content was low. Dat’s very purrtant fur sis Lexi’s diet these days. So mommy was purretty excited fur us too twy it. Furst things furst, mommy took photos of da can and then da noms inside da can and she finally scooped it out onto our plates. Then she got ready fur da action shots. You know da ones, when da flashy box is almost in yous plate while you twy to eat. Well it didn’t get in meez way cuz there was no way me was eatin’ dat stuff. Me wuldn’t even get close nuff to da plate fur mommy to get me in da shot. Me told her dat was fine cuz me didn’t like it, so no point in you seein’ me wiff it. So all paws down fwum me. But what ‘bout picky Lexi?

Well…what do ya’ know, she ate da whole plateful and asked fur more. Mommy got a little excited. She’s learned not to get too excited till sissy eats sumfin’ a kupple times these days. Once can sumtimes be a fluke. So mommy waited a kupple days and gave Lexi a plateful again, and again she ate it all up. So 4 paws up there. It’s diced so small dat it’s almost a pate style wiff very little gwavy. But ifin you have a pate only kitty, it might not be da bestest choice cuz it duz bweak up in da plate. We can’t figger out why these companies insist on all da veggies, but it has purrlenty of veggies included. Da furst ingredients awe chicken broth, chicken and pork liver and then a long list of veggies and vitamins and minerals. So we fawt we wuld share a can wiff Buddy, mr. W’s cat and see what hims fawt. You know a tie bweaker. MOL And Buddy bwoke da tie in favor. 4 paws up fwum him too. So there ya’ have it, sissy and Buddy like it fine wiff me as da hold out. So Hill’s must be duin’ sumfin’ wight.

But what about mommy you ask? Well she’s not fond of da long list of veggies included, but dat’s purretty much paw fur da course these days. And she did like dat it was lower in phosphorous than udder foods, so it’s good fur Lexi in dat sense. It dusn’t contain da carageenan, but duz have da guar gum. Again, sumfin’ dat be purretty much paw fur da course. But all in all mommy sed seein’ dat Lexi liked and ate it and da phosphorous is low she wuld definitely buy it fur sissy.
