Oh me cats and kittens what a night we had. As you know, cuz me tells ya’ all da time; mommy be old and slow. Now meez not bashin’ mommy cuz she’ll tell ya da same fing. It’s just what happens; it’s pawrt of life. Anyways mommy set me up wiff twitter when we stawrted da bloggy but we was never very active cuz mommy dusn’t unnewstand all those hashtags and taggin’. Now ifin yous a member of BlogPaws you know they have these “chats” offen to innerduce us to bwands and stuffs. Well let me tell ya’, our furst chat…it was pitiful. It was over afur mommy even figgered out where to go. And she didn’t know she was posed to be clickin’ on da bar dat sed new tweets. And there was windows openin’ off to da side of da feed and then disappearin’ afur mommy kuld even figger out they was talkin’ to us. MOL Well after dat mommy almost gave up on twitter. She pawlogized to me and sissy fur bein’ so not a techy and able to keep up. We luv our mommy and she didn’t need to pawlogize to us. It’s okay. Weez sure there awe udders out there just like us.

We didn’t attend anymore “chats” fur a while. Sumtimes it was cuz we was busy wiff udder fings, but mostly it was cuz mommy didn’t wanna get all flustered. Well after goin’ to BlogPaws we stawrted twyin’ to purrticipate in da twitter chats again. Afur yous ask, No, mommy didn’t get any more techy and still didn’t unnewstand those hashtags and stuffs; but mommy’s not a quitter and she will twy hers hawrdest to figger fings out. Did fings get any better yous ask? Not weally. Mommy still didn’t know what she was duin’, but we was there and twyin’. Dat’s what counted. Let me tell ya’ sumfin’ ‘bout this twitter. It moves fast and dusn’t slow down fur peeps twyin’ to learn. And there’s a maximum number of letters you can tweet. Well yous all know weez chatty kits so we find dat a bit stiflin’. MOL Dat bein’ sed, weez keep twyin’.

Now duwin’ these chats they have these give aways. You know so we can twy sum of da purroducts fwum da bwands dat be pawrt of da chat. Da furst time we twied to win da twivia question was asked and like a 4 year old we blurted out da answer. Actually we posted da answer to da feed. Well dat’s not how yous posed to do it. MOL By da time we figgered out how to send a message, da whole chat was over. MOL You weally shuld see mommy twyin’ to figger it all out and keep up. And of course luv on me, cuz me be sittin’ in hers lap twyin’ to play patty cake wiff her. And anudder fing, they always have these chats at dinner time. Don’t they know when weez have dinner? Hmmph Yous wuld fink they wuld schedule these fings wound our schedule. MOL Now dat meez given you a little backgwound, let me get back to last night.

Yep, there was a chat last night. Mommy had set up hers weminder and we got logged in wight on time. Fings was actually movin’ a little slow and mommy was quite happy wiff dat. And all of a sudden everypawdy else’s clock musta been slow, cuz afur we kuld blink, da race was on. Tweets flyin’ here and there and little pop up boxes appearin’ and disappearin’ faster than we kuld read ‘em and so many gawjus kitty fotos movin’ down da stweam afur we kuld even paw da like button much less make a comment. And then da give aways began. Me told mommy to hurry cuz me wanted to win. Sis Lexi was watchin’ fwum a safe distance on da back of da chair, me was layin’ in hers lap, and mommy’s fingers was on fire clickety clackin’ on da puter keys. And guess what? Me won!!! Me finally won a twitter chat give away. OMC Me kuldn’t believe it. So now yous askin’ yous selff, did mommy finally figger it all out? Did she visit da fountain of youff? Did she suddenly get all teched up? Nah, it was just dumb luck. MOL But it was fun. And then it was time fur dinner. So weez pawed off and mommy made sis Lexi and me our pawsum dinner plates. All dat ‘citement musta welly got sis Lexi’s engines revvin’ cuz she ate 3 of those 3 ounce cans of noms and a packet too.

Bring Me the Phone Please…

Well me must stawrt today wiff a pawlogy. mommy weminded me dat me didn’t announce da winner of meez FroliCat Flik give away. We use Random Picker.com and put all da names in da drawin’ and then click da button so we can have a winner. They have all these official seals and stuff, but as you know mommy knows nuffin’ bout code so weez can’t put it up here. Annyways, da winner was our sweet furiend Christy Paws. She has a new FroliCat Flik headed her way. This week weez giivin’ away anudder pawsum toy fwum PetSafe called da FroliCat Pounce. Ifin yous haven’t entered yet, head on over and do dat here. Now, lets get on wiff today’s posty. Last time sis Lexi told ya’ ‘bout learnin’ to dial da fone so we fawt she shuld tell da rest of da stowry today. Dialin’ fur help ain’t da only fing weez do wiff da fone, so there was still more to learn. Wight sissy?

Yeah Dezi datz rite. There are timez when mommy’z wide awake and just can’t get to da fone. Like when she’z fallen or passed out and come to. Or in da meownin’ when she be in bed and can’t move just to name a few. Durin’ those timez there are occasionz mommy needz da fone. Dezi told ya’ da udder day dat mommy attaches da belt holderz to da backz of da handsetz so we can carry them wiff our mouffs. Well when we train, we’re usually much yunger and smaller, so she attaches a string to da belt loop holder cuz weez not yet strong enuff to pick up da fone much less carry it. But we can fur shur drag it. Ya’ saw an example of dat in sis Dezi’z video of da FroliCat Flik. When workin’ on an item, mommy usually combines trainin’. Dat convoluted sentence means dat durin’ da time mommy was trainin’ me to dial da fone she was also trainin’ me to bring her da fone. On Monday you saw da corded fone she used to train me to make calls on, and she used da cordless fones fur da bringin’ her da fone trainin’.

So mommy wuld carry me to da bedroom to da cordless fone and show me da string. Well you tell me, what kitty do you know dat dusn’t like stringz? I wuld play wiff da string and pull on it and da fone wuld eventually end up in da floor. Naturally I wuld jump down to da floor to continue to play. Now da trainin’ kicks in. Mommy wuld wait till I grabbed da string and then she wuld gently pull da fone to da livin’ room or pawdee box room wiff me attached to da udder end and followin’ close behind her. She wuld say da whole way, fings like; “Bring me the phone Lexi. Lexi, please bring the phone to me.” And when we wuld get to where mommy wanted me to be, she wuld take da fone fwum me and lubb all over me and tell me how much she lubbed me and how purroud of me she was. And then we wuld start again. Bein’ a kitten, my attention span wasn’t that long so trainin’ sessions usually consisted of a kupple tries at a time and then we wuld take a break.

Sumtimes mommy wuld lay in bed and while me was givin’ her a massage she wuld pull da fone over and let me play wiff da string a little and then pull me and da fone up to hers ear and have me lay down against it so dat da fone wuld stay at mommys ear. She wuld have purrtend conversations and then motion fur me to go back to massagin’ her. I never get tired of givin’ mommy massages. We wuld repeat these exercises over and over again until I wuld bring mommy da fone wiffout her havin’ to be there to drag us. I was always happy when mommy praised me and told me how much she lubbed me. I like da fone and fink it’s fun, but not nearly as much as Dezi. I never played wiff da fone less mommy was givin’ me a lesson. So youz’ll have to read Dezi’z trainin’ storiez fur da funny fone trainin’ episodes.

Fanks sissy. Me duz luv da fone. Meez finally grown up a bit and learned to leave da fone alone lessen mommy tells me to get it. But me did make sum funnies when me was yunger, didn’t me?. What a mumff it’s been alweady. And there’s still so much more to come. We gave away a pawsum Pagoda water fountain and today weez announcin’ da winner of da case of Weruva TruLuxe noms. so stay tuned cuz dat announcement will be a little furv-ver down. Cuz we gotta tell ya sumfin’ else furst. As ya’ know weez met da amazin’ Weruva team at BlogPaws where sis Lexi discovered hers favowit noms and da big fwiller was dat meez liked ‘em too. So weez kept in contact wiff ‘em when we got home and they let us have a give away. And…they sent us a pawsum goodie box just fur us. Well not just fur us, you know they sent mommy a few goodies too. Was dat not just da sweetest fing ever? We sure fawt so. As any good Suddener wuld say…Bless their hearts. So yous wuld fink dat all dat was where it ended and was wepurrsentative of a gweat mumff wight?

Well it ain’t!!! Cuz guess what weez got fwum Chewy.com this mumff to weview? Yep yous guessed it, A case of BFF (Best Feline Friend) noms made by nun udder than…Weruva. OMC Awe we sum blest and lucky kitty girls or what?!!! Well we fawt da day we announced da winner of our TruLuxe give away wuld be da purrfect day to weview da BFF. So here goes. We weceived a case of 8) 5.5 ounce variety pack of da BFF canned noms. They also come in pouches and da 3 ounce cans. Weruva says: These furmulas all have red meat Tuna as da base ingwedient. Purrotein packed, low fat and highly palatable. All da cans but one awe topped wiff one udder meat purrotein, like boneless, skinless white bweast chicken, etc. So ifin yous have a tuna luvver in yous house this just might be da noms fur you. Well fur yous kitty me means. Altho’ Weruva uses only human gwade ingwedients and is purrduced in a human food purrocessin’ facility. So how duz da BFF line fair in our house yous ask? As you know weez not eat much fish, so weez not had much tuna ever.

We found da “extwa toppings” to be a little lackin’. A few shweds of chicken or udder purrotein was all so weez not weally call dat a topping. But it was nice to have a little sumfin’ udder than plain tuna. We ate it but only after mommy added sum of da Weruva chicken fwum da Cats in da Kitchen line or sum pumpkin’ fwum their pumpkin pouches. We gave a can to our pal Buddy and hims luvved it and licked hims bowl clean. So sis Lexi and me give it 4 paws each cuz we did eat it, and we like da companies philosoffy, and use of gweat ingwedients. We also luv dat they list wight on their website all da analysis tables dat mommy needs to check fur feedin’ sis Lexi. And da BFF line is less costly than da udder lines of Weruva noms. Buddy gave it a 4 paws and a tail up. Hims luvved da tuna.

So what ‘bout mommy, is she gunna give it a fumm up? Mommy what do you say ‘bout da BFF noms?

 

Well honey, the phosphorous levels in the whole line are pretty good. And surprisingly the ash levels are fairly low for a tuna fish food. I love the companies philosophy and that they use human food processing facilities and standards. Another advantage is the price point. It allows for buying a high quality food at an affordable price. I would have liked to see more of the other proteins in the can, but overall I would give it a thumb up. As you said, y’all did eat it and it meets the guidelines I’ve set for feeding Lexi.

Blest Sunday, Thankful Sunday

It’s anuvver Blest Sunday here at our house and hopefully at yous house too. We do luv our Blest Sunday postys but this one be extwa special cuz we be fankin’ all of ya’ dat helped get sissy hers antibiotics to get better. We told ya’ yesfurday all ‘bout how and when da UTI stawrted and dat cuz of so many givin’ gween papers to da fundraiser fur Lexi’s medical care we was able to get hers antibiotics. And today weez wanna purrsonally fank you all. Wiffout you sissy wuld at da very least still be sufferwin’ and in pain. But kitties can and do die fwum complications of a Urinary Tract Infection. Mommy has lost 2 kitties dat way and was terwified she was gunna lose sis Lexi too. So yous will never twuly know how fankful we awe.
