Hey Raena, where did you and mommy go the other day to get all those britches she’s been washin’?
I’s don’t know sissy, but after we sold our aluminum cans mommy saw a sign and said “Oh my cats Raena, we’ve gotta go back”. We did some kinda middle of the road turn and went into this big store with racks and racks of clothes. She kept throwin’ jeans in this basket till we couldn’t see the bottom anymore.
Well how many green papers till all those blue jeans cost?
What do I’s know ‘bout green papers, sissy? I’s know mommy was happy, and there was purrlenty left over fur treats. What? (Mommy says something to Raena) Oh, okay. Sissy, mommy says they had a bag sale at the Good Will and she got 10 pairs of jeans and a couple dress pants fur $2.00.
Oh, dat’s purretty good. Me thinks she has plans to cut some of them off and make some shorts fur summer. That means she’s gonna be draggin’ out the sewin’ machine soon.

Oh Raena, the sewin’ machine is soooooooo much fun. There’s strings fur playin’ everywhere. Altho’ mommy gets really mad when you walk over the foot pedal. Somethin’ ‘bout a needle goin’ thru her finger. So whatever you do, stay away from that pedal. Me knows it looks like fun, but there’s purrlenty of other things to play with.

Nope Raena, sewin’ ain’t on our list of duties. It’s kinda like the carpet monster and mop. They exist, but we don’t have to use ‘em.

Mommy says she’ll have to wait till after the ‘pointment to know exactly how many teeth are removed by the surgeon on Fursday, but she thinks our total will drop by ‘bout a thousand dollars. Well, did you miss us? We’re so glad you’re joinin’ us today. Like me said, we have somethin’ really pawsum to tell you ‘bout. Mommy gave her a supplement to treat it, cuz that’s really all that’s been available. When sissy got sicker and pickier, mommy tried treats and medicines, again, that’s all that was available. You know sissy, arthritis is just one issue we anipals can have that needs treatin’. And being a larger breed kitty means that most likely, we’ll start having issues at a younger age. That means really long term treatment. That’s when our pawrents, bein’ the good pawrents they are, really start looking at those side effects caused by the current treatments and try to find alternatives or least somethin’ less toxic.
Wha’cha’ gonna do with this mommy?
You’re right Raena. But what about other types of problems. You know we have quite a few furiends that have skin issues. Some caused by allergies and others, still unknown. Some of those that suffer, lose fur, scratch, have flaky skin (Eczema/Psoriasis) and get infections from licking and scratching so much.
Hmmmmmm This is innerestin’.
What about the itchies caused by necessary medications, or the occasional wayward scratch? You know sometimes play can get a little rough and some kitty/doggy gets accidentally injured. Or Kittens furbid, kitty or doggy gets in a real fight. There’s the cone of shame, that thankfully, we’ve never had to wear. As the girls have pointed out, our beloved furry family members have a lot of the same health issues that we do. And we all know cats are notorious for hiding their pains and ills. None of us want to treat something that doesn’t exist, but most of us are looking to be proactive with our pets health these days. We’re feeding them better, seeing the Vet more often, brushing their teeth and definitely trying alternative treatments when available.

The (ST) Head includes these LED’s: 4 yellow at 490nm, 8 blue at 470nm. 12 green at 520 nm and 16 red at 650nm to provide the widest spectrum for shallow skin treatments. The bottom line, is that between the 2 heads, you can treat a multitude of problems and health issues our pets face, safely and in a manner that is enjoyable for you and your kitty/doggy. (Remember to never point the device directly at your pets eyes!)
The LumaSoothe is programmed to shut off after 15 minutes. During the treatment the head warms a bit, but doesn’t get hot and isn’t uncomfortable for your pet. Measuring enjoyment in purrs, I would say that Dezi and Raena love treatment time. Dezi has been having a few issues with early onset of arthritis due to her size and activity levels. Since we started using the LumaSoothe, I’ve noticed that she’s been jumping more and has become more active than previous months. While Raena is still a kitten, and doesn’t really need treatments, she enjoys them, and we’re being proactive. And it’s safe to use on her. Really. Anyways, Raena got her furst lesson with da shower this week and yes, mommy’s been takin’ her a few places. She’s at a crucial age and needs to be exposed to a variety of situations and people so dat she’ll be used to it once she is fully trained. We’ll talk more ‘bout all dat in future postys. OMC Me almost furgot. Ya’ know mommy never did drugs. She never even tried them. But, her furst college degree was in criminal justice, so she knows what they look and smell like. Mommy took Raena out da other night and they decided to stop at da dollar general. There wasn’t too many cars in da pawrkin’ lot, so mommy thought it would be da purrfect exposure fur Raena. Not so busy as to freak her out but enuff peeps to let her get used to them. Well while they was walkin’ up to da door, mommy saw a mary-joo-wanna joint right there on da ground. She told da lady workin in da store and then watched da lady run outside and pick it up, look ‘round and then put it in her pawcket. OMC Da lady went and saved dat fur later. MOL Mommy sure was glad she never did drugs. Alley cats and kittens only know what germs be on dat joint. You fur sure wouldn’t ketch any of us puttin’ it in our mouths.
