Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. (Raena jumps on the Liberty cat tree to look outside for the source of the chirping she hears. She looks out and back again and chirps and chortles at Dezi.) Sissy, do you hear it? Is winter over?

(Dezi jumps up on the Liberty cat tree beside Raena and looks out the door and then the window.) Where is it, Raena? Me can’t find the birdy. (Dezi reaches her paw out and touches the door and pulls her paw back quickly.) Hmmmpht Winter ain’t over Raena, far from it. Least the temps have furinally risen above 0. Fankfully, you’re the one that’s gonna be out in it with mommy today. Me’s gonna stay here and stay warm.

I’s luvs goin’ out with mommy, sissy, even ifin it’s cold out. Besides, did you see the new carrier thingy she got fur us? I’s can’t wait to try it out. It looks really cool.

Are you meowin’ ‘bout that sling thing Raena? Me knows mommy was really impurressed at the quality considerin’ what we paid fur it. Ya’ know, we got a few green papers fur Christmas, and mommy was thinkin’ ‘bout BlogPaws and ‘memberin’ how little room there was when we were walkin’ ‘round and visitin’ with the vendors. And she ‘membered how cute our furiend Sophie looked in her sling thing and wanted to get one fur us. But, ya’ know those things ain’t cheap. So, when she found this one fur $7.99, she had to scoop it up. Ya’ know, we’re purrayin’ hard that we get to go to BlogPaws this year. Me still purrfurs me’s stroller, but me might give that sling a try too. There ain’t nuffin’ better than bein’ close to mommy’s heart.

Ain’t that the truth, sissy. I’s so glad mommy knows how to shop fur bargains. And, I’s really purray we get to go to BlogPaws. I’s can’t wait to meet our furiends in the fur to flesh. That sounds like soooooooo much fun. I’s guessin’ I’s goin’ in the stroller today tho’. Ya’ know, I’s don’t think the doctor could hear mommy’s heart with all mine’s furs in the way. Maybe he’ll give mommy somethin’ to get better too. We was visitin’ our furiends on Wednesday and tryin’ to get all caught up, and then yesfurday, mommy just zoned out. She kept passin’ out, so she furinally just shut the catputer off. I’s sure hope we can visit more furiends after we get home today. We’ve missed so much.

Me too, Raena. Ya’ know she was tryin’ to do that pecan thing to raise green papers to take you to the V E T and to send us to BlogPaws. Unfurtunately fur our pawcket book the work’s over and mommy didn’t make enuff fur anythin’. Altho’ me is glad that she’s gonna be home with us from now on. Me really didn’t like her bein’ gone so much. Me worried ‘bout her all the time. Seems that belt runnin’ along like it did gave her the dizzies and caused her to pass out. Anyways, it’s furinally the weekend and it’s warmin’ up a tad, so maybe mommy will feel up to playin’ with us. You may enjoy goin’ out, but me would much purrfur a good game with the cat dancer.

I’s luvs playin’ with the cat dancer too sissy. That sounds like a great idea. Oooooh And, the hexbug. Maybe mommy will take him down too. I’s chased him under the oven the last time we played. Did you know the oven comes apawrt? I’s never seen anythin’ like it. There’s a cool cubby down there. I’s sure wish mommy would’a let me go under there and play.

Oh Raena…That ain’t no cubby and the oven ain’t a toy. (Dezi shakes her head and then suddenly sees something out of the corner of her eye.) Raena!!! Look’it all the ducks!!!

(Raena jumps up just in time to see the ducks waddle by and go off into the woods.) Oh sissy, those sure are some big birds. Sorry Tabbies, but they sure did look nomilishus. MOL Well, I’s better go help mommy get ready to go. The sooner we leave the sooner we can get back and visit our furiends. We’ll be by to see ya’ soon.

Chatting Cats: New Year, Same Old Same Old

Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. What a week we’ve had so far. I’s don’t like these below 0° days and nights. Let me tell ya’, we’re all feelin’ yucky here. Mommy can barely move. She’s all hunched over like that big ole wisteria bush outside. And sis Dezi had a bout of the sneezy wheezies and horkin’ everywhere. Me? Yep, mines eyes are all gunky and mommy’s had to clean mine’s bloomers more than once in the last couple of days. Hmmmmpht I’s don’t like bloomer cleanin’. No dirty bloomer fotos. Mommy says not even she wants to see that. I’s a big girly and not s’posed to need such things.

RaenaBelle, what are you meowin’ on about now? Trust me, ya’ never outgrow bloomer cleanin’ ‘round here. Mommy always says she ain’t kissin’ a mouth that’s been cleanin’ such things that get stuck on our bloomer furs. Furankly, me would much rather have mommy clean it up than me. Yuck!!! Anyways, ya’ know we’ve been meowin’ with mommy ‘bout our postin’ schedule since she’s gonna have that new standin’ ‘pointment on Mondays. We’ve also been thinkin’ maybe mommy can do a few more postys/reviews this year. We think sometimes companies furget we kitties have humans.

Maybe sissy, but I’s hope mommy gets somethin’ more fun than the product she’s tryin’ out now. As fur our new postin’ schedule, seems we’ll be postin’ Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Furidays and Sundays. Blest Sunday has been a pawrt of Deziz World since almost the beginnin’, and we luv meowin’ ‘bout our blessings. So Blest Sunday’s ain’t goin’ anywhere.

We do luv our blessings Raena. Our Service Cat postys will return in February, so get your questions and desired topics in now. We’re also workin’ hard on figgerin’ out a way to go to BlogPaws. It’s so close, we just hate to miss it. We have a ticket, we just need to get the green papers fur the room and transpurrtaion. Anyways, we know 2018 is gonna be full of fun and we can’t wait to share it with all of you.

And, meowin’ of all of you, we’re really behind in our visitin’ cuz of mommy tryin’ to get green papers and bein’ sick. But, we’re slowly tryin’ to get caught up. So, we’ll be by to visit with ya’ as soon as we can.

Happy New Year 2018

Happy New Year!!! Raena, mommy, it’s furinally here!!! We made it to see another year start. It sure is cold here. Mommy heard once that whatever ya’ happen to be doin’ when the clock strikes midnight of the new year will make up the biggest pawrt of the next year. So, guess what we were doin’ at midnight?. Yep, we were all cuddled together luvvin’ each other.

We sure were sissy, even when you let out a growl. What was that all ‘bout?

You stuck your claw in me’s ear Raena. Me’s all fur togetherness, but that’s a little too together. Anyways, we plan on lots of cuddles and luvvin’ in 2018.

And fun too, sissy. We’re gonna have lots of fun. Fanky fankfully, your growl was long befur midnight. We don’t want any of those in the new year.

Well Raena, that means you need to work really hard at bein’ a better sisfur. (Dezi snickers) Anyways, we’re really behind so we’re gonna keep it short today. We just wanna meow a Happy New Year to all of you. And, we wanted to update ya’ a bit on our schedule fur 2018. Due to a new standin’ ‘pointment on Mondays, we will be movin’ our Service Cat Trainin’/Question & Answer postys to Tuesdays. Mommy’s still tryin’ to work out the rest of our schedule, but never fear, you’ll be the furst to know. We’re not goin’ anywhere.

Or, maybe you’d rather see mine’s purretty face every day.

Change is good sissy. It keeps us on our paw toes.

Sure it is Raena. We’re cats, we’re not s’posed to like change. Anyways, wish our furiends a Happy New Year and let’s go play.

Blest Sunday: A Year Full of Blessings

MeOW It sure is cold.

It sure is sissy. Mine’s paw beans don’t like it one bit. The floor is burrrrrrr cold.

(Mommy A opens the door and window blinds. Dezi and Raena get their first look out for the day) OMC When did that happen mommy? Look’it Raena, it’s all white outside…mostly…okay, in patches. Anyways, it’s enuff. And, it’s New Years Eve.

What is that?!!

Oh sissy, what is all that? I’s don’t like it. Nope, not at all, I’s don’t like it. And why’s it so cold? How cold is it?

Eh, me’s seen it befur. It’s no big deal so long as

we can all stay together and cuddle.

Well Raena, it looks like snow. But, mommy just checked and says it’s mostly ice. As fur how cold it is, the weather guessers say it’s t’ween 5° and 10°F below 0. That’s just too cold fur us Southerners. Fankfully, we’re all gonna be stayin’ right here together so we can snuggle and stay warm.

It can’t get inside, right sissy?

Below 0? Did you really meow below 0? I’s sure hope the kitty we fed found some place warm to hang out. We couldn’t find it the last couple of times we went out, so we purrayed somepawdy had taken it in. ‘Course, we left food, but there’s no tellin’ who might be eatin’ that. Ya’ know, we might be feedin’ the coons and pawsums.

We know, but fur us Southerners’ this is pawful. MOL

That’s okay Raena, everypawdy’s gotta eat some time. Anyways, as me meowed earlier, it’s New Years Eve. Tomorrow starts a brand new year. So let’s furget ‘bout the white stuffs and the cold fur a minute and look back over the last year.

Sounds good to me sissy. It’s been a tough year, but a year full of blessings, none the less.

Yep, we started the year lettin’ everypawdy know ‘bout how bad mommy’s teethies had been and tryin’ to get her some help. Which fankfully happened and come February, everypawdy’s gonna see mommy’s new pain furee, infection furee fauz teethies smile. We also ran a weekly post called Service Cat Monday in which we featured mommy’s Trainin’ Tips/Tricks/Techniques fur all kitties and woofies too. We answered all kinds of questions from our readers and furiends. We can’t wait to get back to those in the new year. We hope ya’ll look furward to them as much as we do.

And in March, we cried as we mourned the one year anniversary of sis Lexi leavin’ us fur heaven. And ‘membered all the luv she gave and got and the amazin’ Service Cat she had been. And, we celebrated the majesty that had been her life. She will always be a pawrt of us and will always be remembered.

And in April we celebrated mine’s furst birthday. In June, we really celebrated the day mommy saved me and gave me this pawsum life I’s have now. And, don’t furget all the goodies we’ve reviewed over the past year. And we’ve even gotten to hold some give aways. I’s hate that Lexi had to go away fur me to be here, but I’s sure am blest to have such an amazin’ home, mommy and sissy.

We’re blest to have you too Raena, even ifin me doesn’t always act like it. We truly are 2 blest kitty girls. 2018 is gonna be even better. We don’t really know what’s in store fur us past today, but we know that as long as we have each other, we are Blest.

That’s the truth sissy. And, we do kind’a know somethin’ that’s gonna be happenin’ in January. We’re startin’ the new year off with a bang. I’s mean, with a give away. That’s right, and even our UK furiends will have the chance to win this one. We can’t hardly wait.

Me’s with ya’ on that one Raena. Anyways, Christmas left us with some great food and a few gifts from our angels. Raena and me both got new mousies and balls and that great hexbug we showed ya’ the other day. Fank you uncle Pete, Timmy, Einstein and furmily. Fank you Cat, Nugget and awnty Lisa, and fank ya’ll fur the gift card. Mommy says it’s a real blessin’. Fank you fur everythin’ awnty Belinda, we’re even grateful fur the calmin’ collars you sent…mommy ‘specially. Mommy’s really enjoyin’ her PawPaw ointment and we’ve had a dab or two as well. Fanks again to LouLou, awnty Suzanne and uncle Don, we’re still enjoyin’ turkey tom lurkey. Fanks awnty Vonda fur the nip of the vine and the treats. And fank you fur the green papers fur mommy. And fanks to awnty Anonymous fur the green papers as well.

And a meowsy big fanky fanks to awnty Cindy and uncle Marshall fur the noms and mommy’s new bathrobe. And, a great big meowsy Fanky fank you all fur bein’ our furiends and a big pawrt of our lives. We look furward to many more years with you all. MeOW sissy, we sure are blest.
