How To Find A Bargain On The Internet

Hi everyone, mommy A here today. I’ve been blest to get to try another great non cleaning, human only product. Let me just say before the girls have a conniption, part of this post will apply to them as well. I’ve never been a big shopper. I’m a list gal. I make a list, go to the store, compare prices and only buy what’s on my list. Of course, living in a small town with limited resources and limited shopping choices made that pretty easy. However, when we got the computer, the whole world was now open to us. If you want it, you can find it on the internet. You can even find things you never knew you wanted. But, comparing prices and finding the best deal became a bit harder. I’ve always admired those coupon kings and queens, but I’m not very good at it myself. But, I still want, actually need to save money.

dezi lays in box ready to pounce

It’s Review Time fur mommy.

This is a sponsored post. I received the Diamond Microdermabrasion Machine in exchange for my honest opinion. As always, we only review things we use or have tried and feel would be of interest to you, our readers and friends.

I was recently contacted by a representative from a company called Wikibuy. I wasn’t familiar with them, but their concept isn’t new to me, so I decided to give it a try. If you’re not familiar with them either, let me tell you a bit about them. They offer a Chrome extension that finds lower prices including discounts and coupons while you shop at amazon. Or, you can go directly to their site and shop the lowest prices from there. They also automatically check and apply any active coupon codes for items in your cart. That means you can save money or at least know you’re getting the best price on most everything you buy, including all your pet needs (Petco, Pet360, and many more). That brings me to the product I received to introduce you to this great tool.

You’ve probably figured out by now, I’m a little vain, and hate aging. I’m fighting the wrinkles and gray hairs with everything I’ve got. So, when I was given my budget, I knew exactly what I wanted; it’s been on my frivolous list for a very long time. Diamond Microdermabrasion machines usually aren’t cheap, so, I did what I always do when looking for something expensive on a budget…I went to ebay.com. Yes, when we see something that we think we just can’t live without, one of the first places we check is ebay. That doesn’t mean we always get to buy it, but we do check and often add it to our list. And, Wikibuy works with ebay too. So, I found the perfect Microdermabrasion machine, brand new with warranty for $67.50. It arrived within a week and had everything I needed to get started except an instruction booklet. So, I contacted the seller and they responded within an hour and sent me a PDF of the complete instructions. As with anything, there’s good, better and best. The Pro Diamond Microdermabrasion machine I received is definitely top of the line for home use. It works perfectly and came with enough tips and filters for a years use.

I would for sure give it two thumbs up. Looks great, works great, arrived quickly, at a great price and their customer service is awesome. As for Wikibuy, I’m always up for an easy way of saving money and getting the best price. As I said earlier, the internet opens the world to you, and can sometimes be overwhelming. Anything that can make it easier is a good thing. Shopping shouldn’t be a chore, especially when shopping for everyday items. And with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, if you could save a little on the gift you might have enough left to still go out for dinner. Many thanks to Wikibuy and Ebay, I’m definitely enjoying my new Microdermabrasion machine. And the girls are just fine, they didn’t even miss not getting something this time.

We are at that mommy. We like it when you get to try new things too.

Dezi and Raena will be back tomorrow sharing their adventures with you. Thanks for letting me take a minute of your day to introduce you to an easier way to shop and a cheaper way to fight aging. lol

Weruva Cats in the Kitchen Variety pack cat food

Cuz me just tasted it a minute ago. Ya’ know, we should let everypawdy know what we’re meowin’ ‘bout, Raena. As most everypawdy knows, we like and eat all the time, our fureeze dried noms. And mommy says even tho’ it’s ‘spensive, she’d gladly do whatever it takes to keep us in good food. But, she’s always on the lookout fur somethin’ a little cheaper but still good quality, to kind’a fill in once in a while. Ya’ know, like those times when we eat everythin’ on our plate and want seconds. So, when she saw the Weruva Cats in the Kitchen variety pack that Chewy was offurin fur this month, she thought we should try it. Weruva Chicken Cat Food

Weruva Chicken Frick ‘A Zee

As you can see there’s a whole lotta fish. And, as most of ya’ know, we’re not really fish eaters. So, the only flavor we would actually try is the Chicken Frick ’A Zee. After we finished off our dinner one night, we both asked fur seconds. So, mommy halved a couple of cans till she found the one we would try. The chicken is kind’a shredded and there’s this thick “gravy” type substance across the top of it. Naturally mommy added some water to thin that gravy out. Ya’ know, us kitties don’t get enuff water, so anytime mommy can add water to our noms, she does. And, we like a thinner gravy anyways. I lapped up a bit of that gravy and took a few bites of the chicken befur I’s decided it wasn’t really fur me. You on the other hand sissy…

 Dezi eats Weruva cat food

What? Me kind’a liked it. Ya’ know, it wasn’t our normal noms, but it would be nice every now and then. Me wouldn’t wanna eat it every day, but that’s only cuz me purrfurs a tasty rabbit over chicken any day. Mommy says she was purroud that me ate any of it. It wasn’t that long ago that me wouldn’t touch anythin’ but a certain brand of kibble. ‘Course, that made me sick, but, me can be finicky. So, all in all, me would give the Weruva Cats in the Kitchen canned food 2 paws up.

Raena eats with her back to the camera

The gravy’s not bad.

I’s guess I’s could give ‘em a paw up too, sissy. The ingredients are purretty good and it actually looks like chicken. I’s asked mommy, and she said she’d give ‘em a thumb up too. She took a thumb away cuz of all the fish. Fish just isn’t really that good fur kitties, and with so many kitties havin’ allergies, it’d be better ifin everypawdy would ditch the tuna. But, we sure do luvs our Chewy. There’s always a great toy of the box and packin’ paper with every shipment.

Dezi peeks out from a chewy box

That’s true Raena. Chewy has the bestest boxes. And, they have goodies fur all the furred, finned, scaled and unfurry members of your family. All orders over $49.00 ship fur furee and all other orders have one low flat rate shippin’ charge. And of course their shippin’ is usually purretty speedy. Chewy says 1 to 2 day shippin’, but we will say that depends on where you live and where your order is shipped from. None the less, you’ll have fun when your box arrives. And, Chewy has great customer service, so you can shop with confidence. Well, we gotta go, seems the mail lady is walkin’ up to our purrch. See ya’ll soon.

Raena lays on wall perch on the cat tree

I’s still like it sittin’ on the cat tree. Mommy has yet to take

layin’ down on the job?

That’s a great idea sissy. Well, let’s take a look back at our Christmas Gift guide. We suggested somethin’ every kitty would like, a Cat Shelf. Yep, a shelf that hangs on the wall and allows kitty to survey his/her kingdom from the cozy comfurts of on high. And I’s do mean comfurtable. This is a high quality wooden curved shelf that measures 16” X 12” X 5”. It’s a really nice size. It’s purrfect fur small kittens and even big enuff fur big kitties like us and Maine Coons.

 Raena sniffs wall perch

Mmmmmm This nice fleecy cover’s great fur these cold days, mommy.

Raena checks out wall perch

Yep, it comes with everythin’ ya’ need to get it hung up and

ready fur kitty to enjoy. The packagin’ is really nicely done.

It also comes with 2 covers. Right now the nice fleecy wool one is great fur keepin’ kitty warm. And, in the summer there’s a nice ribbed fiber cover that even doubles as a scratcher. Ya’ know, ifin ya’ don’t wanna get down to scratch. And, it’s dummy purroof. Ifin mommy can hang it, anypawdy can. It comes with all the screws needed, includin’ wall anchors. We luv it.

Mommy A Tries Lucas’ PawPaw Ointment

Hey all, mommy A here. I’ve hijacked the girls blog today to tell you about something I recently found that I think every household needs. As you all know, the girls do most of our reviews. And, I’m thrilled they get to try so many amazing things. But, as you also know, there’s a human behind all the pet blogs including ours. A lot of times the things we humans get to review have to do with cleaning or enriching the lives of our furry babies in some way. Don’t get me wrong, I love my girls and can’t imagine not picking up after them or trying to make their lives better; but, every once in a while I’d like something that didn’t have anything to do with cleaning. lol

Raena poses with the Lucas' PawPaw Oint, ment

Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post. We received the Lucas’ PawPaw Ointment in exchange for our honest opinion. As always, we tell it like we see it. We only bring products we use or have tried and believe would be of interest to you, our readers and friends.

As most of you know, I recently had all but 2 teeth removed. And, NO, this isn’t a Denture or Denture Cream Review. lol Everybody can use the item we’ll be talking about today. After years of broken teeth and infections, I’m now living happily without that pain. I’ll get my permanent dentures in February thanks to so many wonderful angels who helped me through this. In the meantime, I’m wearing what they call temporary dentures while my gums heal and shrink. These temporaries are much like the final product and have to be taken care of and worn the same way. Anyone who has ever walked down the dental aisle in a store has seen boxes of denture adhesives. For the most part, they’re all the same. The purpose of these adhesives is to act like a glue to keep the dentures in so one can eat without losing their “teeth”.

Dezi checks out the Lucas' PawPw Ointment

At first, everything was going along fine. My gums were and have healed properly and I’m getting used to the feel of “fake teeth”. But, shortly after I began using the denture adhesives, I started getting sores in the corners of my mouth. The corners of my mouth were cracking open and my lips were constantly chapped. Due to medications, weather, age and probably other factors, I have a problem with dry skin, and my lips are no different. So, I use several products to help keep my skin and lips moisturized. When my lips began to crack, I started using everything that’s worked in the past and even tried a few new items. Nothing seemed to give me relief and certainly didn’t heal the cracks. Naturally I spoke to my doctor about it and he suggested the old triple antibiotic ointment. I don’t know about ya’ll, but that stuff tastes nasty. Cats and dogs may like it, but I sure didn’t. And, it didn’t even make anything better. So, I did what I always do, research and more research.

 Lucas' PawPaw Ointment

I came across a product called Lucas’ PawPaw Ointment. The PawPaw Ointment is touted as a cure fur a myriad of issues, not the least is my dry skin and chapped cracked lips. Naturally I had to try this miracle ointment. It’s all natural and can be used on the girls as well.

The backstory: An Australian botanist named T.P. Lucas came across the PawPaw tree (Carica Papaya) and discovered the antiseptic properties of the ointment accelerated the cleaning of wounds and was extremely nourishing/moisturizing. He devoted years of special study to the PawPaw tree and creating products. Lucas’ PawPaw Ointment has been a proven remedy for over 100 years.

Ailments Lucas’ PawPaw Ointment can be used for: *Abscesses *Boils *Bruises *Burns *Carbuncles *Chafings *Cuts *Cysts *Dry and Cracked skin on hands and feet *Gravel Rash *Heat Rash *Insect Stings *Mosquito Bites *Open Wounds *Pimples *Scalds *Sunburns *Swelling associated with Injury *Splinters & Thorns *Tinea *Whitlow *Chapped & Cracked Lips *Nappy Rash & Cracked Nipples *Temporary Relief of symptoms of Dermatitis & Eczema *Temporary relief of discomfort of Hemorrhoids by local application

Ingredients: 39 mg/g Fresh Fermented Papaya Fruit, Pharmaceutical Grade Petroleum Jelly and Wax, Minute amount of Gum Balsam Peru as perfume, 0.1 mg/g Potassium Sorbate as a preservative

 Lucas' PawPaw Ointment

As you can see, the PawPaw ointment can be used for almost anything that ails the skin. And since it’s all natural, you don’t have to worry about side effects. You also don’t have to worry about who or what touches you after the application. Anyone who has ever used prescription creams for these ailments knows, some of the ingredients can be dangerous to small children and animals. The Lucas’ PawPaw Ointment can safely be used on your pets. Maybe your dog gets hot spots in the summer, or now that it’s winter, you’re looking for something to put on their paws to relieve ice burns. What about those scratches received during a cat fight or even left behind after kitty got scared and accidentally scratched you? Maybe you or a pet is nursing and needs a little relief to the chapped nipples left behind from suckling young’uns. Or, like me, you’re not that graceful anymore and take a few tumbles now and then that result in bruising or cuts and scrapes. It doesn’t matter what the issue is, you might want to give Lucas’ PawPaw Ointment a try. You can choose a tube or tub on amazon. Prices start at about $8.00. Be sure to purchase from Lucas to be sure you’re getting the Original PawPaw Ointment and not some knock off. A little goes a long way, so it should last a while.

Dezi and Raena check out the Lucas' PawPaw Ointment

As for my cracked chapped lips, they started healing within a couple of days. I’m thrilled with the results and since I’ll be needing that denture adhesive for the rest of my life, it’s nice to know I don’t have to worry about the side effects and pain of cracked lips. I’ve also used the Lucas’ PawPaw Ointment on my feet, elbows and hands with great results. Although they list a perfume in the ingredient list, there’s no smell or taste I or the girls can detect. Well, that’s it for me today. I have a few more reviews coming up fur ya’ll and look forward to many more this year. Thank you all for reading and for being our friends.

Till the next time……………………………………..Be Blest!!!

Love ya’
