Meowllo evewypawdy hope you all membered to turn yous clocks up an hour and schedule yous posties accowdinly…cuz we didn’t. MOL Of course we hav one of those atomic clocks in da house dat be on da old time change schedule so it’s been an hour ahead all winter. Today it wuz actually wight. MOL And da lectwonics all changed on their own too, but da old battewy opewated wall clocks wiff da big nummews dat mommy can see wiffout glasses wuz all wong. Yes we still hav a foo fings in ow house dat hav to be set manually. So weez’ll be duin’ sum of dat today.

Well as you know ifin yous wead ow post yesfurday, mommy took a fall Furiday when we wuz out getting’ hers medicine. We awe so very blest dat she didn’t get seriously hurt. Just a bwuised hineybo and ego. And weez blest dat there wuz sum nice peeps dat came and helped her and caught me afur me stwolled away down da stweet. We awe twuly countin’ ow blessins fur this one. When we got up yesfurday we noticed we hav a flat tire on da caw. Fur sure dat’s not a blessin’ and weez not sure what weez gunna do ‘bout it, but at least dat’s a mommy worry. Sissy’s posed to go to da Vet on Tuesday so hopefully mommy can figger sumfin’ out. We knew ow tires wuz bad, but we just don’t hav da gween papers to buy new ones, and Oklahoma is workin’ on passin’ a law dat wuld mean no more used tires. We can’t weally afford da used ones eevew, but at least their ‘bout $10.00 cheaper than da new ones. Hopefully weez’ll make it to Lexi’s pointment. We will keep you all updated ifin we can get there. Anyways…

We got a purresent fwum Miss Ellen and da kitties over at 15 and meowin’. You know dat Miss Ellen be very talented and she makes a lot of gweat fings fur bootyful Phoebe to giv away. Wecently she held one fur a nip mat dat she made. We hav looked at these a lot and weally wanted one, but it’s outta ow purrice wange on a good day. And now wiff sissy needin’ to see da Vet evewy 6 weeks and needin’ hers spensive medicine we fur sure don’t hav any extwa gween papers. Fankfully so faw, you all hav been wunnewful and helped us out to get hers medicine. A meowsy big fank you to all of ya’ dat hav helped. Anyways, she held this giv away and we didn’t win. Ow pawsum furiends da Twout Town Tabbies did. But turns out Miss Ellen had made 2 mats, and we wuz da wunnew up and she wuz sendin’ us one too.

Talk ‘bout bein’ ‘cited, we wuz duin’ da happy kitty dance. We luv Miss Ellen’s made wiff luv toys so we knew da mat wuld be pawtastic. But just when we didn’t fink it kuld get any better, those Twout Town Tabbies went and told Miss Ellen to giv theirs to us too. And Miss Ellen’s gunna make them a fishy toy. Well we got one of those mats just da udder day, and OMC It’s purrfect!!! Just as we fawt it wuld be. Me rolled wound and wallered on it fur a while and then sissy came up and we had a little game of whacky paw sniff sniff on da mat. Then me got up and let sissy hav a turn. And to answer da question we got, mommy puts all da new stuff in da middle of da floor and lets us play wiff it fur a day or two so she can get fotos and sumtimes videos. Then it goes to what will be it’s new home and outta da middle of da floor. So no, all ow toys awe not in da middle of a floor all da time. Altho’ we do dwag out a lot of them and mommy let’s us. She sez we work hawd and shuld be able to play hawd. And since we don’ hav much company, like rarely, then it’s okay dat da floor be strewn about wiff toys. Anyways, we awe sure blest to hav such pawsum furiends. Fanks Tabbies and special fanks Miss Ellen. You did a gweat job. We can’t wait till da udder one gets here so we can lay side by side. Mommy also sed this wuld be a gweat fing to put in da stwoller on Vet days.

We awe as always blest to hav so many wunnewful furiends. Seems we kinda stay behind these days, and da captchas on da blogger blogs means dat we only comment on one post stead of all of ‘em, but we awe weadin’ yous posties. And we sumtimes twy to combine ow comments. We just want ya’ to know dat we luv y’all and get a little cwazy when we miss a posty. We luv keepin’ up wiff evewypawdy. Meowllo evewypawdy hope yous all had a good time yesfurday wiff all da Dr. Seuss posties. There wuz sum weally gweat ones out there. We weally do fink dat litewacy shuld be purrmoted more. Me knows there’s a foo of ya’ out there dat be laffin’ cuz yous fink it be widiculous dat me wuld talk ‘bout litewacy while speakin’ cat. And you know what…dat’s okay. Hopefully genewations to come will be able to wead and write and enjoy da same fweedoms we hav today to choose whether we write in hooman or cat. Anyways on wiff todays post.

1. We alweady liv where we wanna, cuz we only wanna liv wiff mommy. And mommy sez hers has lived all ovew da U.S. and luvved evewyplace her lived. And dat anywhere is home so long as we be there wiff her. But Sammy, ifin yous got a guest house fur us to liv in, weez all on ow way.  

2. Ow favowit gift is……….evewypawdy hoo evew gave us sumfin’ is sittin’ on da edge of their seats wight now. MOL And we weally luv evewy gift weez evew been givin’. So weez eevew gunna make sum of ya’ mad or make yous all say “aaaaaah”, cuz ow favowitest gift evew is mommy and mommy sez hers is us. See weez all be miwacles. You know da weal ones dat squeak and wun and eat cheese and peanut butter. And mommy sez hers gweatest fear is losin’ us. (‘oh mommy don’t worry weez not goin’ anywhere.’)

Meowllo evewypawdy. We had a pawful day yesfurday so we didn’t get to visit or anyfin’. No puter time at all. Me will tell yous ’bout it later cuz well meez typist is just too tired fwum ow blah Furiday. MOL But me did wanna post sum awt fur ya’ today and join up wiff Athena fur da Caturday Awt BlogHop.  Mommy’s enjoyin’ hers coffee as you can see. Meowllo evewypawdy, today is Luv yous pet day. So yous spectin’  sum flowery words fwum mommy ‘bout luvvin’ us or diwections fwum me on showin’ luv to yous pet, wight? Well guess what? Dat’s not what meez gunna do. Mommy wrote da mostest bootyful luv letter to Lexi you can wead here. And then she wrote da pawsumest luv letter to me dat you can wead here. So today weez gunna weturn dat luv and splain all da little ways mommy luvs us and tell her how much we luv her too. Now we searched high and low on da innewnet fur a luv yous hooman day, and we found nun. You wanna know why? It’s cuz Hallmawk hasn’t found a way fur us to buy cawds. Yep dat’s wight. Holidays awe ‘bout makin’ munny. Ifin only we had fumms…Anyways, we wanna tell ya’ a story, so pull up yous chair and get yous anudder cup of coffee, tea, coke or whatever you dwink and welax.

Rownd da klawk feedinz and wipin’ buttz. Din der wuz da teechin’ me too eet sawlid foodz and yooz da pawdee bawx. And ledid me tell ya’ dat lazt wun iz noze ezee feet fur a hooman. Itz nawt like she kuld krawl in der and litterullee show me how. Mommy sez I’z wuz a grayt stoodunt doe and lernd relee kwik. Aneewayz she had too beez redee too devoet a lifetime too taykin’ kayr of me. Purrvidin’ minez nomz, litter, treetz, and vet kayr. I’z kulda gawn wivowt dat lazt wun but mommy sez itz purr-tint. She had too devoet a lifetime too kleenin’ up after me. Skoopin’ pawdee bawxez, washin’ food dishiz, water dishiz, kleenin’ frow up and hayrbawllz awff da karpitz and bed. Moovin’ me to nu playziz wiv herz and helpin’ me to aklimayt, sted ov ternin’ me in to a shelter or frow-win me owtside too servive on minez owen. Maykin’ shur I’z awlwayz nu dat I’z wuz sayf and lubbed. In awl deez feengz, mommy habz nebber fayld.

Faynk youz mommy fur awlwayz beezin’ der, and gibbin’ me a grayt life. Faynk ya’ fur kleenin’ up avter me and alwayz gibbin’ me da beztezt. Faynk ya’ fur helpin’ me now dat I’z beez owelder and need medsinz. Faynkz fur beezin’ minez mommy.

DEZI: Yep sissy, mommy takes gweat care of you. Now it’s meez turn. Mommy bwought boff of us back fwum deaths door. And when she wescued me it meant more sleepless nights and lots of hineybo cleanin’. Bwingin’ me back fwum da bwink and usin’ natuwal wemedies to wid meez body of those pawful worms cuz me wuz too yung and weak to take da usual medicine. So it took longer to get wid of those fings and it meant lots of hineybo cleanin’. Me has furs dat go on furever so It means she still has to do da occasional hineybo cleanin’. And purrvidin’ all da same fings she duz fur you Lexi. Luvvin’ me also means jumpin’ evewytime me meweeks. Cuz it usually means me wants her to clean sumfin’.

Luvvin’ us means she decided to devote a lifetime to puttin’ us furst and never complainin’. It means fightin’ fur us when we can’t do it owselves. Purrtectin’ us fwum all da dangers of da world. Feeding us when she can’t feed herselff. Playin’ wiff us and even when she’s sick or hurtin’ makin’ sure we hav all da fings we need to not only survive but thwive. And you know what? Mommy has never failed to tweat us like da little queens/divas dat we awe. Mommy you know me luvs you even when meez be gwowlin’ and hissin’ when yous clean meez hineybo or clip meez claws. Yous know me luvs you when meez hollews at you fur da 500 millionff time in a day to clean da pawdee box. You know meez luvs you when me dusn’t want you to welax and hav a cup of coffee but instead play gunna getcha’ wiff me.

Mommy Lexi and me fank you fur savin’ us and fur bein’ ow mommy. We wuldn’t wanna liv anywhere else or wiff anyone els. Fank you fur goin’ wiffout so we don’t hav too. Fank you fur da patience you hav wiff us, and da sweetness in yous voice when you speak to us. Fank you fur da warm home we liv in and yous lap to lay in. Fank you fur da luv in yous eyes we see when you look at us and da gentleness in yous touch. Fanks fur da extwa tweats and time spent playin’ wiff us. We never doubt dat you luv us. You show it each and evewy moment of evewy day. You never needed a day to wemind you to make us feel special and luvved. So on this day of Luv yous Pet, weez wanted to tell evewypawdy how much you luv us by duin’ da daily stuffs, da not so flowery purretty stuffs, and how much we luv you. See luv isn’t always purretty or easy, but it’s reward is always gweat. In weturn fur all dat you do, we share ow purrs wiff you and learn to meow loudly so you can unnewstand us. Seems you hoomans don’t speak smell da pee or da hineybo. We chose you to luv and you chose to luv us even when it isn’t purretty. And we know dat today just like evewyday will be filled wiff good noms, delishus tweats, and cuddles apurrlenty. Now go ahead and show sum extwa luv to yous furries today too.
