Well furiends now our blog is actin’ funny. We complain alot ’bout Facebook cuz it’s always changin’ and messin’ up, but now we’re havin issues here tu. OMC Meez fink all da sites keep finkin’ deyz gunna make it better and what dey really du is mess everfin’ and everpawdy up. MOL Well whatcha gunna du ’bout it when your not da one wif all da munny and runnin’ fings huh? Meez tell you what, you gwumble and hiss and growl and den ya’ make du. MOL Well we lost a furiend tuday. Him wuz only 8 munfs old and wus quite unexpected and sudden. We wuz vewy sad ’bout it and mommy cwied fur a long time. See we know ’bout sudden losses and duzn’t matter how long a kitty’s been wif your family ifin you luv ’em den it hurts when der gone. Mommy’s been ‘memberin’ a lot lately cuz sis Lexi’s brofur Lucky’s Meowday is comin’ up. He wuz born on April 1 and only lived 5 years. Until sis Lexi mommy had never had a baby liv past 5 years so she’s knows what losin’ one is like. Dis year, Sis Lexi will hav lived fur 15 years. You fink mommy ain’t excited? Meez duzn’t know what she’s got planned yet, but meez bets it sumfin good. 😀

We’s don’t hav any frowbak Fursday Purrsday fotos tuday but we’s du hav sum cute ones. Mommy’s been playin’ wif da cameras and da foto apps again, so we hope you enjoy dem.

Mommy Needed A Break (mol)

Meow furiends hope you are all havin’ a Pawsum week. We took a couple days off fur mommy tu rest. We hav meez blog, sis Lexi’s Facebook payj, ShowmeCats and me just joined da Cat Scouts. And mommy is of course disabled and has trubble gettin’ ’round and stayin’ wif it sumtimes so her just got tu a point dat her kuldn’t fink or see or function so she needed a break. We watched a couple of movies and one of dem wuz da new Hunger Games. We won’t spoil it fur any of you dat havn’t seen it yet, but just know der will be a follow up movie, hoo knows when. MOL Very disappointin’, but wuz okay all in all. 

Also durin’ our break da lawn krew came fur da first time dis season and fur doze of you hoo don’t follow our Facebook page meez will just tell you dat meez hates da lawn krew bein’ here wif all der noisy machines. And deys just idiots. Deys pull up plants and leave da weeds. Dey use da weed wacker/edger on da lawn and da metal posts and air conditioner wires instead of da edges of da lawn like deys pose tu. And deys blow da leaves and dirt at da doors and windows wif da leaf blower sted of out intu da yard. OMC Anyways, da days off were good in spite of all dat. It is cold and rainy and gray here today. Meez fink spring has just got lost, or maybe kidnapped. MOL

Meez wus finkin’ ’bout makin’ anudder page here in meez blog wif a dictionary of cat speak. It wuld make it easy fur doze of you hoo hav trubble wif da kitty talk tu get definitions quickley. What du you fink?? Wuld dat be sumfin’ you mite be innerested in seein’?? Meez knows da Facebook people sumtimes hav trubble unnerstandin’ sis Lexi so we wuz finkin’ a quick link mite be a good idea. Altho me blog is more human den our udder pages we know dat sumtimes we mite be hard tu unnerstand. Like humans very few kitty’s talk alike either, but we kuld include sum of da more common words. Just let meez know what you fink. And fur doze of you hoo can’t comment on meez blog you can let us know on Facebook or you can always email us. Dezi Luvs da Fone

OMC Meez stardid tellin’ you all ’bout da fings sis Lexi and meez do as service cats but didn’t tell you ’bout how we learnd tu do dem. So me fawt tunite me wuld share a bit ’bout our twainin’; more specifically, meez twainin’. MOL It is Dezi’z World after all, rite?. Well ifin you read meez story ’bout how me came to liv wif mommy den you know me been here since me wuz 4 weeks old. So, mommy stardid twainin’ meez vewy yung. Fur callin’ da 911 mommy wuld put me little paws on da nummers and pwess down and den luv on me or giv me a tweat and lots of pwaise, and den wepeat da pwocess over and over until me kuld  do it me self. You know me liked talkin’ on da fone so much dat mommy has tu hide da fone ifin she duzn’t wanna answer it cuz me will twy tu answer it ever time it rings. 😀 

Reminds meez ’bout dis one time when we had just got up fur da meownin’ and we wuz all in da pawdee room and da fone stardid ringin’. Well mommy wuz, well you can guess what mommy wuz doin’ and me looked toward da bedroom (and da fone) and den back at mommy (hoo can wead minds) and took off. Mommy wuz sittin’ der hollerin’, “Dezi, honey, leave the phone alone. Sweety, don’t answer that phone.” Did me listen?? No of course not me just kep runnin’ fur da fone and den meez got it and pawed da gween button. Fur doze of you hoo don’t hav colored buttons on your fones, dat’s da answer button. Den meez carried it bak tu da pawdee room and mommy. Mommy wuz still hollerin’ fur me not tu answer it when me got it tu her, and den meez laid it down just out of heer reach, and pawed da red button. Again, fur doze of you wifout colored buttons, dat means meez hung up on dem. MOL Mommy didn’t get mad, her just laughed. Anyway, Til da nex time,

What Is a Service Cat?!

Well it occured tu mommy and meez dat not everpawdy here follows sis Lexi’s Facebook page so you mite be wunnerin just what it is dat we do fur mommy and just why duz she need us. Many years afur either of us wuz even born mommy had a car accident dat left her disabled. She has lots of nerv damage and pain and migraines and copd and quite a foo udder fings. Anyway we help mommy stay independent. We drive her wheelchair and giv her great massages and we can bof dial 911. Among udder fings, meez alerts afur mommy passes out so she can get somewhere safe.  So a normal meownin fur us starts da minit mommy wakes up. See durin’ da nite mommy’s medicine wears off and hers body duzn’t move. So sis Lexi and meez gic her massages  on her legs and arms tu help get dem movin’. Den we roll mommy intu her wheelchair and one of us drives tu da bafroom so mommy can du her human meownin rituals. MOL  Den we drive heer tu da kitchen where she makes our brekky and her a cup of coffee.  Tu alert mommy dat her is gunna pass out me duz what we call meez dance. Meez paws at mommy and twirls ’round  and ’round. And mommy knows tu pay attention  and go sit down sum where. Me of course goes and sits in hers lap til is all over.  We will tell you more ’bout our duties as service cats from time tu time. So, Til da nex time
