Meowllo and Happy 4th of July to you all. Fur those of us in da U.S. this is Independence day. Da day we celebrate da birth of America and da signin’ of da Declaration of Independence. A document dat set this country on it’s way to greatness. A document dat recognized da rights God gave us. Da document dat states we da people are da governing body and dat ifin government gets outta control it is up to us da people to do something about it. Ifin you would like to read da Declaration purrlease click here. Da freedoms and rights we have in this country should be purrtected at all cost. Many gave their lives to make sure we da people didn’t have to live under tyranny or kings. Da job of da President and all those holding “public office” is to serve us, not da other way around. Voting gives you a voice, so purrlease, any time theirs an election…Vote. Let us not return to tyrannical rule.
Me knows you were ‘specting a Service Animal posty, but cuz of da holiday me decided to hold off till Wednesday. So pawrt three of our Service Animal series will continue in our next post. Me’s gonna wrap it up now, and maybe play with Raena. Be safe and have a wonderful day.
Mommy only jumped a little at the first bang. And I was in the potty room on the rug. And the windows WERE closed. Our neighbor shot his fireworks for about ten minutes, then stopped. We got lucky. Unless they do the same tonight! Mommy says it isn’t the same neighbor, cause he had kids and they moved.
We have the water testers either today or tomorrow.
Glad you made it through your firebangs without hiding! Very good job!!
Do you need earplugs?? Meowmy has lots of them…from being at the Thunderbirds and fireworks on Saturday. They are staying home from all that noise and hubbub today…they were there evfurry day since Wednesday, MOL! Today they want peace and quiet and a nice home cooked meal…picnic food is good, esp if its free (Pawppy gets free tickets on account of his involvement to get this festival ready…)but one can get too much of a good thing!!
We sometimes can even see those big red white and blue birds here when they regroup, and sometimes even the balloons will fly ovfur our den!
We are planning to see the Washington DC fireworks on TV tonight. Then we won’t have to dodge traffic, MOL! We like their music better too…rock music as purrvided by the venue here is way too raucous!
Mom says our government is kinda out of control and she sure is voting! We love your patriotic art and hope you all have been having a terrific Fourth. As you know, it’s my birthday and I’ve been spending it, well, sleeping.
