Blest Sunday: It Couldn’t Get Any Better

Dezi: Sorry me’s late mommy. Sis Raena kept jumpin’ on me while me was tryin’ to take a bath.

       Raena: Oh Purrlease sissy, you swatted at me furst.

Dezi: You stuck your tongue out at me Raena. Dat’s not nice!!!

   Mommy A: Alright girls, that’s enough. Ya’ll don’t sound like the blest girls you are. And you know what today is, don’t you?

Me luvs Blest Sunday. It’s kinda turned into da day when we tell all our furiends how much we luv them, and how fankful we are to have them in our lives.

       It is sissy and we do fur sure. But I’s got to thinkin’ dat maybe some of our furiends think we just say dat.? Dat maybe they hear it from us so offen they might be thinkin’ we’re just sayin’ it and don’t really mean it.? You know, sompawdy asked us why we called everypawdy gawjus, bootyful or handsum.

Me worries dat sometimes our furiends might doubt us Raena, but then me thinks ‘bout it and me knows our furiends know dat we really mean what we say. We’ve only ever told da truth, so there’s no reason fur anypawdy to doubt us. As fur why we call everypawdy gawjus, bootyful or handsum, it’s cuz we think they are. When you see with eyes of luv then all you ever see is good and gawjusness. And we have da mostest pawsumest furiends in da universe.

       I’s totally agree sissy. And they’re real furiends. Did you hear ‘bout da awnty dat wrote mommy da email cuz she was worried ‘bout her and others getting’ scammed?

Yep Raena, they care ‘bout us, cuz we care ‘bout them. Dat’s a huge gigantor blessing. And awnty Donna knew how bad mommy felt when she fell on and broke our track toy; ‘specially since it was your favorite, so she sent us a new one.

       She sure did sissy, and a bag of treats/noms too. Fanky fank you sooooooooo much awnty Donna.

 

 

And then a couple days later, da UPS man showed up with this big box fur mommy. We know, cuz mommy checked and rechecked da address label. Inside was all kinds of yummies and goodies fur mommy. We don’t know who sent it, but they’ve fur sure got mommys number. There was a box of Ghirardelli chocolate with chocolate chips brownie mix inside. And how did they know da night she got cut up she couldn’t find any triple antibiotic cream? Well, we’ve got some now. And a honey cornbread mix, and cheater mac and cheese, and…well there was so many yummy and useful things inside dat me thought mommy would never stop cryin’.

       I’s not sure I’s know da difference ‘tween sad cries and happy cries, but mommy said this was da happiest of cries.

 

 

Yeah Raena, mes not sure how to tell da difference either, but me knows she was beside herself happy when she peered into dat box. And we all say a meowsy big Fank you to whoever sent it to us. They also included a bag of noms fur us. With da bestest mostest gawjus furiends in da universe and material blessings too……our blessing meter is overflowin’. Fank you all fur bein’ da bestest furiends ever.

       I’s second dat sissy, and so does mommy. We’ve been thinkin’ hard and we’re gonna be writin’ our letters to Santa tonight. We can’t wait.

The pawsitive spirit and vibes we get from your blog and from you three and everyone around you overwhelms us with happiness and gratefulness for those around me and we are so, so happy to know you and be your friend. It rubs off and we are pawing it forward whenever we can. We don’t have a lot extra in the green papers department but when we do get a little ahead, we have been giving. To the poor children at our local schools who dont have enough warm clothes and foster kids who have been neglected to the homeless kitties and doggies at the local shelter.

    I can’t thank you enough for bringing this feeling of being appreciated and the love pouring out from you three girls. Love ya!

We’re so blest to have such amazin’ peeps and anipals in our lives. Any gift when given in luv is huge.   9. I know what you ladies mean about not being sure people believe we’re being genuine. I suspect your Mommy and I both are deep feelers and so we’re naturally honest and expressive about our feelings and not everyone knows how to take that. Some people know how to take advantage of that of course (unfortunately). I also believe in telling the people I care about how I feel whenever I get the chance. You never regret saying “I love you” or “I appreciate you” too many times. Sometimes when I’ve left comments on here about how grateful I am for all of you and how much you mean to me, I get scared I’m saying the same thing over and over again but I feel like I have to say it because I mean it and it’s important to me that you hear it. Now I’m rambling. And probably not making sense. Anyway, I hope you ladies have a wonderful Sunday. Bear and I are sending all of you huge hugs ❤

    1. Mommy says you can never say say you love some one enuff. She purrobably says it to us a hunnerd million times a day. She says you never know what da future holds and it’s purrtant to let those in your life know zactly how you feel. Mommy says she has no regrets, cuz sis Lexi knew beyond any doubt how much mommy luvved and purreciated her as did all da kitties who came befur and those of us now. Trust me, we know. And we luv hearin’ it every time mommy says it. Never worry ’bout sayin’ somethin’ again and again. Ya’ never know how much da other purrson/kitty might just need to hear it dat moment and dat day. We really purreciate ya’ll and your furiendship as well. We luv ya’ll bunches and so wish we could do more to help ya’. Alas…We’ll send big hugs and lots of purrayers.
