And, we’re very blest to have a mommy that unnerstands that and thinks humans shouldn’t try to change us. And yet, every day mommy gets furustrated with me at meal time over one of these drives.
Raena, me can’t believe you meowed that. Mommy doesn’t get furustrated with ya’ ‘bout the doin’, it’s the result of the doin’ she gets furustrated ‘bout.
Hmmmmpht It’s me she’s talkin’ to, I’s think I’s oughtta know what she’s furustrated with. Let me just tell ya’ ‘bout it and see what ya’ll have to say. Ya’ know, us kitty cats, like our big cousins, are finely tuned purr-edators. Yep, we’ve got mad skills.

Whatever sissy. Anyways, the feline form was built to hunt and kill. Unfurtunately, there are some animals that think we’re prey. Hmmmpht They’ve never met mine’s claws or fangs.

Raena, we’re Ragdolls, we don’t actually do much real huntin’. We don’t even give the old whacky paw of justice when it might be needed. It might be in our DNA to hunt, but me doesn’t think we’d do too much actual killin’.
There ya’ go sissy. X’actly!!! That’s why it’s so ‘purrtant fur me to cover mine’s meal in t’ween bites. I’s fur sure don’t wanna end up as somethin’ else’s meal. I’s don’t want somethin’ bigger and meaner comin’ along and smellin’ mine’s noms and thinkin’ I’s would make a good snack.

Sorry Raena. Anyways, like me was meowin’, the only thing bigger than you in this house is mommy, and she ain’t gonna sniff your noms and try to eat you. She’s just kitten ‘round when she says she luvs us so much she could just eat us up. She doesn’t mean she really wants to eat us.
Well course not sissy. I’s know that. I’s meowin’ ‘bout all those things you claim to be purrtectin’ us from durin’ the storms. What ifin they was to smell mine’s noms and think I’s be tasty.
Trust me Raena, there ain’t nuffin in this house that thinks you might be tasty. And, there’s no way mommy would let anythin’ or anypawdy ever hurt you, much less eat you. So all that scratchin’ and turnin’ over of your food plate isn’t necessary. All it does is make a mess and waste food. That’s the pawrt mommy gets furustrated ‘bout. She spends good money, money we don’t have in abundance to make sure we have the very bestest noms to eat, just to see you flip the plate at every meal. You’re like one of those silly housewives on that reality teevee you like to watch so much.
Nah sissy, they’re always mad, I’s just doin’ what comes naturally.

Bet’cha ya’ll didn’t even notice, but mommy’s been workin’ hard to simplify our Service Cat posty’s and make ‘em easier to find fur peeps visitin’ us, even ifin it’s their furst time. Did you know we added lots of new furiends/family last year? Sure ‘nuff, we gained lots of new followers here and we’re so fanky fankful fur all of you. Ya’ know, we meow, you’re only a visitor once. After that, you’re family.

Nip? Nope I’s not sniffed any nip today, sissy. Least not yet. Ya’ know, I’s could go fur some of that vine awnty Vonda sent us fur Christmas tho’. I’s just happy. Happy and cold that is. Mommy says us kitties can get really active the colder it gets. And, it sure is cold here today. The weather guessers said we’ve got wind chills at 15° below zero. And ifin ya’ don’t even take that into account, it’s only 12° as it is.
That’s outside silly.
I’s know, sissy, but mommy ain’t cranked up the heat inside much either. But, I’s don’t think her purrsonal summer’s are occurin’ nearly as much as they used to. Even she’s been wrappin’ up in a blanky lately.
Yeah Raena, but don’t those blankys make her lap even more comfy?
They sure do sissy. I’s just luvs layin’ in mommy’s lap. Anyways, I’s was lettin’ everypawdy know that we’ve added to our menu. Now when ya’ need to refur back to one of our Trainin’ posty’s, ya’ won’t have to find the last post we wrote fur the linkys, you can just click on the Trainin’ Tips link from our menu and find every Educational or Trainin’ post we’ve written. We’ll also be includin’ things like Feline Nutrition, and other educational type stuffs there. And, mommy even thought it would be a good idea to put a Contact us form right there on the page so peeps could submit their questions or blog topics they’d like to see.
You’re right Raena, that is somethin’ to get x’cited ‘bout. Adding all those links to every posty was getting’ a bit tiresome. We’re not done yet tho’, mommy’s gonna be addin’ descriptions to those linkys along with specific tags. So, ifin you’re lookin’ fur how to set up a Decompression room say, you’ll be able to find it really easy without havin’ to re-read every posty. Me thinks it really is gonna be helpful fur everypawdy.
Me too sissy. I’s can’t wait to start postin’ our Service Cat postys again. I’s also wanted to mention that we’ve got a few requests fur mommy to add some more songs. Our Christmas Carols posty was well received, but several peeps wanna hear mommy singin’ some Patsy Cline and other Country songs. We even got a request from awnty Petal fur mommy to sing Amazing Grace. That happens to be one of our faves, so we’ve got mommy workin’ hard on recordin’ some more songs. We don’t really have the right equipment fur all this, so it is takin’ a little time. But, ifin ya’ wanna follow our SoundCloud channel, you’ll be among the furst to know when mommy adds new songs. Our camera’s battery doesn’t hold a charge long enuff to make videos. The battery fur our Canon camera went bye bye over a year ago, and now the one fur our Nikon is just ‘bout charged out. Ya’ know, those batteries aren’t meant to last furever, and with as many fotos as mommy takes, they need chargin’ offen.
Yeah Raena, we’re workin’ on gettin’ new batteries, but like everythin’ else, they cost money, we just don’t have any to spare right now. Anyways, we need to wrap it up Raena. Me’s gonna go lay in front of the fireplace and have a little nap.

That’s fur sure sissy. One day it was fureezin’ and the next mr. Sunshine graced us with his purresence fur a couple of hours.
Yep, and the next, the wind was blowin’ so hard it sounded like thunder and rain. The weather guessers said it was blustery out.

Well Raena, me knows what it looked and sounded like to me, but let’s ask the lady in the box. She should do somethin’ besides just sit there and beep all day.
She does sissy, don’t you hear mommy yellin’ at her to stop? And when that doesn’t work, she tries to tell her to shut up. Mommy says sayin’ shut up isn’t nice, so she must really get furustrated with the box lady sometimes.
Yeah Raena, me wonders ifin other peeps with the box lady has to constantly tell her to be quiet too? Anyways, let’s find out what she has to say ‘bout blustery.

Hmmmm Well, me guesses 50 to 75 mph is fur sure violent.
Guess so sissy. The leaves sure thought so, they were blowin’ ‘round everywhere. And, it made it feel soooooo cold, even inside the house. Which reminds me, did you see all the goodies that came in that recycled Chewy box from Pipo and awnty Ingrid?

Me sure did, Raena. Back when our ‘pawrtment flooded and got all packed up and remodeled, mommy found a few things went missin’. Among those missin’ items was mommy’s coat. Unfurtunately, there wasn’t anythin’ mommy could do ‘bout it. But, it did make fur some really cold outings in the winter time. Mommy never made a very big deal of it, but, every winter she would be reminded ‘bout that pawful time in our lives. Well, this winter just got so cold and mommy was out in it more than usual, so we happened to mention it in passin’ the other day.
Look’it Raena, they sent goodies fur us too.
And that’s when Pipo and awnty Ingrid got an idea. They happened to have some coats and sweaters layin’ ‘round after their awnty went to heaven, and decided to pass ‘em along to mommy. I’s just luvs the dark blue one. Oh Kittens is it soft and dreamy feelin’.

It is nice Raena. Me likes the duster. Mommy’s always been a little of a cowgirl, and the duster looks really good on her. We sure are grateful fur such pawsum furiends. Mommy cried and cried fur like, ever.

Yep sissy, she did. Altho’ I’s not sure which made her happier, the coats and sweaters, the M&M’s, the cookies or the coffee?. I’s think the whole box was purretty pawsum. They even included some toys, treats and nip fur us.
Yep Raena, mommy can keep her cookies, coffee and M&M’s, me was all over our new mousies.
I’s really like the wand toy, sissy. I’s just luvs a good inneractive play session with mommy.

Sure ‘nuff sissy. We won this stuffs called Kit Tea from our furiend Cody. We’re actually s’posed to drink it, but we luvs just playin’ with the herb filled bags. And, mommy luvs the little tins they came in. She says they make a great nip meow-inator fur our older toys. And we got a package from mine’s godmother awnty Ellen that was just full of surpurrises. A little bit ago, the Whiskeratti gang was tryin’ to get green papers fur Toby’s dental work; and awnty Ellen said that she would make one of her Made with Love nip mats and some toys fur those who donated to the fundraiser. She had to limit it to those in the U.S. cuz she’s had a few sick kitties recently too and green papers are short.
