Hey everypawdy, it’s me, RaenaBelle!!! Sorry I’s screamin’, but I’s can’t hear mine’s self think over the rumblin’ thunder. But, you’ll be happy to know, sis Dezi be hangin’ with mommy and me. Okay, so maybe she’s pacin’ the floor a bit, but at least she hasn’t made a bee line fur UTB (under the bed). (Raena looks around the room from her perch on the back of mommy’s chair just as a loud, long thunder clap rolls by.) Uh, sissy, where you’d go? C’mon sissy, you know there’s nuffin’ to be ‘fraid of. 

 

 

 

 

          Me’s not afraid Raena, me just needed to check on somethin’. Me thought me saw a monster head unner the bed.  (Dezi saunters back to the living room)

 

Hmmmpht  Maybe it was the slobber monster. Oh wait, that’s you, you’re the slobber monster. I’s can’t believe you soaked mommy and me with your purr slobbers this meownin’. We were sleepin’ so peacefully when you woke us up slobberin’ all over the place. Yuck!!! 

 

 

 

 

          Ah, What’s a little luv slobber t’ween sisfurs, right Raena? Besides, mommy needed to get up anyways. 

 

Luvs slobber? That’s what we’re callin’ it now? (Raena shakes her head) Purrlease, I’s would purrfur you keep your slobber to yourself. Anyways…

 

 

 

 

          Whatever. Are you ready fur tomorrow Raena? Me saw your new pink collar that mommy got fur you to wear. 

 

 

 

Yeah, I’s not wearin’ that thing sissy. Anyways, mommy said it was a just in case collar. She said I’s may not even need it. 

 

          True Raena, but that’s only ifin you can keep your paws away from your eyes. We all know You’re not gonna be able to do that.

 

 

 

We don’t all know that sissy. Guess we’ll just have to wait and see. As fur bein’ ready, I’s guess I’s as ready as any kitty can be, considerin’. Ya’ know, I’s don’t zactly know what’s gonna happen. All I’s know is that we won’t be gettin’ any sleep cuddles tonight, no late night snacks and we have to be at doctor stabby and grabby’s place by 8:30 in the meownin’. I’s can feel mommy’s tension growin’, but I’s don’t really unnerstand why. 

 

 

 

 

          Yeah Raena, me can feel it too. Me knows she’s worried cuz you didn’t do so well with the anesthesia durin’ your spay day. Fankfully, we have lots of furiends that’ll be purrayin’ fur you to come thru surgery just fine and have a speedy and full recovery. 

 

 

 

I’s so ‘purreciate all the luvs, suppurrt and purrayers our furiends are sendin’ sissy. They’re the bestest. Hey, ya’ wanna go play? I’s might not feel like playin’ tomorrow. 

 

          Sure Raena, me will play with you today. But, be nice. No jumpin’ on me, okay?    

 

 

 

 

Of course sissy, I’s won’t jump on you. (Raena meows while crossing her paws behind her back) By the way, Happy Birthday Dezi, I’s luvs you. Furiends, don’t furget to send us your fotos fur sissy’s Carnival pawrty on November 14th.
