MeOW C’mon Raena, get outta the window. It’s Blest Sunday!!!
I’s comin’ sissy. I’s just lookin’ to see ifin the storms are comin’ back again today.
‘Course you are. Have you thought ‘bout becomin’ a storm chaser? Me thought mommy was gonna have to close you up in the bathroom yesfurday. She kept hollerin’ fur you to get outta the window cuz of the tornadoes and you just kept gettin’ back in it.
I’s wanted to see it sissy, that’s all. I’s don’t think storm chasing’s fur me. I’s might not mind gettin’ wet, but I’s don’t wanna hang out in it.
Hmmmmpht Could’a fooled me. Hey, have you met the new neighbors yet?
Spook, Mrs. N’s kitty.
Nope sissy, but mommy says they’re just adorable. She says they’re a mother and son that started out as ferals. The nice lady who rescued them is gonna be movin’ into our buildin’ when it’s finished. The mother’s name is Spook, and she lost her tail due to somethin’ pawful what happened to her befur she was saved. Mrs. N, her human, says it took almost a year to catch her, and she still doesn’t let strange peeps near her.
Spook’s son, mommy went and furgot his name.
Guess that’s why she let mommy luv all over her…nuffin’ strange ‘bout our mommy.
Yep, Mrs. N couldn’t believe it, ‘specially after mommy sat down and Spook came over to mommy fur more pets. I’s glad we insisted mommy share a couple of toys with ‘em.
Yeah Raena, they did look like they enjoyed ‘em, didn’t they? Ya’ know, we are so Blest to be able to share with others. Me always gets that warm fuzzy feelin’ when we can make somepawdy happy.
Me too sissy, me too. As always, I’s so fanky fankful fur mommy and all our furiends. Hearin’ Spook’s story made me realize how Blest we truly are to have been rescued at such young ages. Ifin not fur mommy, who knows what kind’a life we could’a had. (Raena shudders as she thinks about losing her big fluffy tail.)
That’s the truth Raena. Me was on me’s way to the grave yard fur sure. Me was so sickly, me didn’t have many days left when mommy took me in. We are very Blest indeed. And, hearin’ mommy talk ‘bout all our amazin’ furiends to Mrs. N, made me feel like we were real live queens. What an amazin’ life we have. (Dezi closes her eyes and thinks about each friend she’s met online and in person.)
I’s fanky fankful fur you too sissy. I’s count you among mine’s Blessings every day. Do you count me?
Uh, yeah Raena, sure. Why don’t you go link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies, K?
Great idea sissy. Then, what do ya’ say we play a game of chase?
Sure Raena, after a short nap. As we do each week, we’d like to remind you all to take a minute today and every day to Give Thanks fur the Blessings in your lives. Thank you, thank you, thank you fur bein’ Blessings in ours.
Till the next time……………………………………………………Be Blest!!!

Stay safe and well, ladies, and away from nasty storms and what not. Blessings are a strange thing as we each see different things though the blessing may be the same. The trick is to enjoy every blessing no matter how big or small and celebrate it, too.
Have a lovely selfie Sunday and week ahead.

we hope that evil storms will cause no trouble nor damage… what a wild spring we have this year, with storms and rain and cold temperatures… mother nature smoked something illegal, we bet…
