Tell All Tuesday: Furbliss™ Silicone Brushes

Hey everypawdy, it’s me, RaenaBelle. Kittens Has it ever been crazy ‘round here. The sticky fingered mini human from upstairs kept us up all night long. Guess he was scared of the storms.

And the cleanin’ ladies, Raena…Kittens!!! They came rushin’ in here yakkin’ a mile a minute.

Least they showed up today sissy. Anyways, as most of ya’ have noticed, we’ve been leavin’ fur depawsits all over the place. Mommy says it’s prime sheddin’ season, altho’ she also says prime sheddin’ season seems to last all year long. We know some of ya’ may be thinkin’ that ifin mommy brushed us more, we’d leave less fur puddles. Trust me, mommy brushes us all the time. We actually can’t get enuff brushin’. We just have lots of extra furs.

Meow fur yourself Raena. Me could use with a little less brushin’. Mommy’s always inneruptin’ me’s nap with a brush here and a brush there. Ya’ know, sometimes a girly just wants to get her beauty rest.

Whatever (Raena rolls her eyes) sissy, you know you luvs a good brushin’. Y, You drool all over the place after a few seconds…Everytime. (Dezi glares at Raena) Anyways, we got all x’cited when Furbliss™ sent us their new silicone brushes to try out. Mommy luvs silicone. She has silicone bakin’ pans, silicone ice trays, and silicone utensils, so why not a silicone brush? We received 1 blue one, fur small short haired cats and dogs and 1 green one, fur small long haired cats and dogs. Sissy, has a mixture of short and long furs and well, I’s just have enuff furs to make several kitties, so t’ween the two brushes, we figgered we were set. They also come in yellow, fur large short haired pets, red, fur large long haired pets and orange fur horses.

Let’s see what Furbliss says ‘bout their brushes, Raena. They’re made in the USA of 100% medical grade silicone and cost $16.99 each. The brushes are double sided, can be used wet or dry, and have a shampoo reservoir. The front side has “teeth” made fur daily brushing, exfoliating, removing dander, sebum and crusts. It also provides a comforting and relaxing massage to stimulate the circulation of skin, joints and muscles. The other side of the brush has small deshedding “teeth”, nubs fur cleaning fur off clothes and furniture, and the shampoo reservoir.

It sounds great doesn’t it sissy? (Dezi nods) But, just cuz it sounds good doesn’t mean it is good. So, let’s put it to the test. I’s always the furst to try new stuffs, so I’s couldn’t wait fur mommy to give me lots of brushes with the Furbliss. I’s can confirm that it feels purretty good…least at furst. The Furbliss doesn’t have traditional teeth, so it tends to build up static electricity. And Kittens does the fur fly. Mommy was covered in mine’s furs within minutes. The nice thing ‘bout those non traditional teeth is that it feels soft on the skin. Ya’ know, I’s hear some humans can be downright aggressive with the pressure they apply when brushin’ kitty. The Furbliss is definitely not the brush fur removin’ mats. Ifin mats are a purroblem fur ya’, purrlease have your human keep a close eye out fur any mat formations and get ‘em out ASAP. I’s give it 2 paws fur the nice massage. What’d you think ‘bout it sissy?

Me liked it Raena. Me’s furs aren’t as wispy as yours so there wasn’t as much static electricity. Me bets there’d be even less static fur kitties with really short furs. Since we don’t really take many baths, we can’t meow to how well it works wet, but it does a great job of cleanin’ our furs off mommy and her clothes. All in all, me thinks the Furbliss silicone brushes deserve 2 paws up.

Mommy says she gives ‘em a thumb up fur how easy they make cleanin’ furs off her and the furniture. We really think these are purrfect fur the short haired breeds. All this talk of brushin’ has mine’s skin itchin’. Think I’s’ll go see ifin mommy’s up fur a nice groomin’ session. See ya’ll soon.

Till the next time………………………………………………………………….Be Blest!!!

  1. Great review ! We’ve got one silicon brush (not the same one), and it works well on our short fur. We hope you can sleep better tonight ! Purrs

  2. We have shedding dogs and cats here, so i’d have to get one of each except the horse one. Maybe i’d just try one at a time and see how my pets like it, or just get one so i could use it to get fur off my clothes, i’m always trying to get fur off my clothes.

  3. Kitties, I was able to brush Sweetie yesterday; she’s an outside, friendly-feral cat, and over time she lets me get closer and closer to her! Her fur is shedding, and I wanted to help out…and she allowed me to. Yay!

  4. Benji could use a brush like that…wow, but he IS a shedder! Way more than me and Dalton put together, MOL!

Right now petcretary uses a furminator brush. Never had to use one of those an any of us or our furbears in the past…

Glad you enjoyed it for the massage effect. I would not like static shocks, they sure can hurt:(
