Blest Sunday: Hook Ups and Clean Ups

MeOW-llo Furiends. Can you believe another week has already passed? Kittens, Seems like just yesfurday we were celebratin’ the new year, and here we are already more than half way thru it.

Dezi and Raena lay on cat tree with Blest Sunday banner

Sissy, what are you meowin’ ‘bout? I’s thought it was Blest Sunday?

It is Raena, me was just meowin’ ‘bout how fast time was flyin’. Y, Me’s birthday is only 4 months away. Me thinks we should have a big pawrty. One to rival your pawrty fur sure.

Well sissy, guess we better start plannin’ now. Altho’ I’s not sure mommy’s gonna be up to another big pawrty so soon. Who knows, she might still be unpackin’ our stuffs. Did you hear all that screamin’ yesfurday? I’s never heard mommy scream like that befur.

Curious Raena stands on top of box

Yeah Raena, me neither. She was just so angry. Me hopes that never happens again. Seems the movers didn’t hook up the dryer like they said they did when she asked ‘em. And it was just like the last thing she could take. Somethin’ ’bout a straw and a camel’s back???.

Yeah, they purrobably they thought they’d broke it sissy.

Yeah Raena, you’re purrobably right. The plug was all messed up. It’s like they just stood at one end of anythin’ plugged into a socket and pulled. Every plug we’ve found so far has been all bent outta shape. Fankfully, mommy had found some of her tools and was able to bend it back so she could plug it in and dry the laundry. She’s still got several more loads to wash, but things are gettin’ cleaned up ‘round here. ‘Course, havin’ to move the dryer ‘round means mommy’s purretty worthless today, but hopefully, she’ll bounce back purretty quick.

Dezi lays on steps looking down

Yep sissy, and mommy furinally found the box with all our sheets, so we can change out the bed with another set. I’s luvs clean sheets.

Me too Raena. And, we’re seein’ fewer gnats too. Mommy has to change out the gnat killin’ solution every day, but we’re furinally makin’ a dent in the gnat war.

True sissy. In spite of everythin’, it’s good that we can still see our Blessings. You know mommy always says, Blessings are all ‘round us, we just have to take a minute and see ‘em. And, even tho’ we were without innerents most of the week, we were still able to visit some of our furiends this week. I’s so missed seein’ everypawdy and hearin’ ‘bout their adventures.

Raena lays atop boxes visiting friends

Me too Raena. We have the bestest furiends in the universe. Their luv and suppurrt is always one of our biggest Blessings. We fank God every day fur bringin’ ‘em into our lives.

Oh yes sissy, we are so very Blest. Hey, ya’ wanna play? Mommy drug some new old toys outta the closet last night. I’s furgot we had a track toy. I’s’ll go link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies, and then we can play, okay?

Dezi lays on chair arm

Sure Raena. Let me just wrap this up. Fur those of ya’ that only visit us on Sundays, we made last weeks selfies into puzzles. You can find them here. As we do each week, we’d like to remind you to take a minute today and every day to Give Thanks fur the Blessings in your lives. Thank you fur bein’ Blessings in ours.

Till the next time………………………………………………………..Be Blest!!!

  1. You really have to watch those movers. Our movers disconnected out washer and didn’t shut the water off all the way at our old place. We went back the next day to clean and half the house was flooded. If that wasn’t bad enough, they put the washer and dryer back the wrong way so the doors opened toward each other instead of away. That made it hard to transfer clothes from the washer to the dryer.

  2. Oh, Petcretary would have been screaming too…and maybe with a bunch of unpublishable English and Dutch naughty things…MOL! Glad she was able to fix it though.

We are happy your internet came back. That leaves us with such an unconnected and alienated feeling when its not working.

And SO glad we can and do stop to count our blessings and think upon them. Its so easy to take everything for granted, when each moment is a God given gift, isn’t it!

  3. Once you get through all the woes of unpacking, and can see the light, then things will be better, I am sure. Till then, keep strong and dont let folks grind you down. I am sure from all of this will come great happiness and also strength.

  4. Clean sheets. Less and less gnats. Dry laundry. We’re sure glad things are getting back to how they should be there, Dezi, Raena, and Mom A. Sorry to hear about the messed up plug, though! Thank goodness Mom had some tools! 😦

  5. Being thankful for what we have is so important. There are so many that don’t have a roof over their head or a bed with clean sheets to sleep on.

You two have a blessed day and week. My best to your mom. Lovies all around. ♥
