Hey everypawdy, it’s me, RaenaBelle, comin’ to ya’ from the Three Belles Ranch. It’s still a mess ‘round here, but mommy’s makin’ a dent in it all and things are startin’ to look more normal. We’ve been hard at it tryin’ to get the ranch in order befur our guests arrive to take us away fur the weekend. Let me tell ya’, we’re some kind of x’cited fur sure.   

 

 

 

 

 

          Meow fur yourself Raena, maybe me doesn’t wanna take a trip. Did anypawdy bother to ask us ifin we wanted to go?   

 

 

 

 

 

Uh, yeah sissy, mommy did. Don’t you ‘member when we furst got the invite, mommy sat us down and asked ifin we’d like to get away from all this mess fur a few days and spend time with some of our amazin’ furiends? Y, You were jumpin’ up and down and yellin’ yes, yes, yes.    

  

 

 

 

          Well, that was befur, when we couldn’t see the floor fur the boxes.  

 

Purrlease sissy, don’t be a fuddy duddy. You know you’re gonna have a good time. You always do. You’re just scared of the furst stages of change. Once you actually take the leap, you luv it. I’s see how you strut ‘round with your tail furs wavin’ purroud. And mommy has fotos to prove how happy you are on trips. You practically take over the bed when we stay in a motel.  

 

 

 

 

          Well, where else is me s’posed to lounge Raena, there ain’t no cat trees in motel rooms.   

 

 

 

 

(Raena suddenly has a light bulb moment) Oh sissy, you’re so right. Maybe we should get our own motel and make it kitty furiendly. We could put cat trees and scratchers in every room. and Litter Robots and nifty water fountains, and a box. We’d be rich!!!    

 

Every kitty needs a good scratcher.

 

 

 

 

          Slow your roll Raena. Furst off, we don’t have the money to be buyin’ no motels. Secondly, just where are you thinkin’ this motel is gonna be? You might have a decent idea, but you don’t have enuff facts or green papers to act on.  

 

 

 

 

Well sissy, I’s thought you might help me with the facts and green paper thing.  

 

 

 

 

          Hmmmmph  ‘Course you did Raena. (Dezi shakes her head) We already have jobs, full time jobs at that. Even ifin you had all the facts and green papers ya’ needed fur this motel, somepawdy’s gonna have to run it and clean up after the guests. And while we kitties might be obsessed with cleanliness, not all humans are. Me doesn’t wanna clean up after anypawdy. No fank ya’. Me’s happy doin’ what we’re doin’ now.   

 

 

 

 

Fine sissy. But the next time you want treats and mommy says we can’t affurd ‘em, don’t say I’s didn’t try to fill the treat jar mine’s self.
