Blest Sunday: Blessings In The Air

MeOW-llo Dear Furiends. Another week has come and gone and it’s Blest Sunday again. The weather’s been purretty decent this past week. We’ve had some really chilly nights, but the days have been mostly in the 80’s. We did have a storm rumble thru the other night, but fankfully, it didn’t last very long.

          Sissy, why are you meowin’ ‘bout the weather?   

 

Cuz it’s been nice Raena, and me considers that a Blessing.

          You’ve got a point sissy. Maybe ifin it holds out fur a while we can get mommy to take us fur a stroll. I’s so luvs goin’ fur strolls with mommy, don’t you? 

     

Yeah Raena, me luvs spendin’ any alone time with mommy, me can get. Anyways, as we always meow, Blessings are all ‘round us, ya’ just have to see ‘em.    

 

          So true sissy. Another Blessing I’s enjoyed this week was gettin’ a nice long groomin’ session with the tools awnty Susan had sent us this summer. Ya’ know mommy gives us a nice little brushin’ almost every day, but those long ones that come with paw pad massages and ear ticklin’ only happen once a week. I’s so luvs the paw pad massages, don’t you?

Yep Raena, me totally gets why mommy luvs her massages. Me could do with a little less brushin’ tho, that’s not really me’s favoirite thing. And fankfully, me doesn’t have purroblems with mats, so it’s not really necessary.   

 

          Hmmmmpht I’s don’t know why you don’t just luvs it. But, meowin’ of Blessings, I’s also really glad you’re mine’s sisfur…even when you are grumpy and hissy.

Me’s not grumpy or hissy Raena. Except when you deserve it. Like when you jump on me or try to whacky paw me’s tail. But, me’s glad you’re me’s sisfur too. And, we’re Blest to have mommy and all our furiends.    

 

          We are sissy. I’s gonna link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies. I’s heard mommy say we could have some silvervine playtime later today. She’s gotta run the carpet monster on the bare floors furst.

And the mop Raena, me’s heard her say somethin’ ‘bout the mop too. As we do each week, we’d like to remind you all to take a minute today and every day to Give Thanks fur the Blessings in your lives. Thank you fur bein’ Blessings in ours.

  1. Blessings all around us for sure!
    Today on their way to Church, petcretary said the leaves were so pretty to see, with all their brilliant colors. And the sky was lovely too at the sunset time. There were deer in some of the fields…though if they are out on the road that might not be such a blessing…MOL!
    Pretty birds at our feeders and some squirrels too…though I told the pups to chase them, since they eat up all the seeds…sheesh, they need to eat tall the walnuts on the ground!
