Hey everypawdy, it’s me, RaenaBelle comin’ to ya’ straight from mommy’s lap. Let me tell ya’, it’s the bestest seat in the house. Ya’ know, we’ve had a lot goin’ on ‘round here this week; what with the ongoing light bulb issues and ants in our house. But, our issues pale in compurrison to the trials of our dear President Trump or our sweet furiends in and ‘round Australia.

Careful Raena, we don’t meow pawlitics here. Besides, we decided to take pawrt in this year’s Pet Bloggers Journey today.
I’s wasn’t gonna meow ‘bout pawlitics sissy, I’s was just sayin’, our problems pale in compurrison. Anyways, I’s glad we decided to join with other pet bloggers to meow ‘bout our journey. You can check out the other entrants here.
Me will start Raena, since you weren’t ‘round back then. The furst question is:
When did you begin your blog? And, for anyone stopping by for the first time, please give us a quick description of what your blog is about.
We started our blog in February of 2014, shortly after we got our furst computer. The purpose of our blog was and is to share the daily antics of two Service Cats and our disabled human mommy. We want it to be fun, helpful and educational. We’ve shared many stories of how we actually help mommy to live independently, training techniques mommy’s developed specifically for cats, as well as health, nutrition, product reviews and recommendations, and just plain fun.
This is one of the furst fotos we ever posted on our blog.
Name one thing about your blog, or one blogging goal that you accomplished during 2019, that made you most proud.
Well, 2019 was one of our darkest years yet. To be completely honest, we kind of dropped the ball this past year and the blog suffered because of it. Having our lives upended and being dislocated fur months while our apartment was remodeled and trying to deal with the mess the movers left us with meant there was little time for writing or visiting with our friends. Altho’, we’re most proud of our Service Cat Series, which we’ll be continuing this year. If you’ve missed any of the posts in that series, you can check them out here.
Which of your 2019 blog posts was your favorite and why? (Please include a link.)

Picking our favorite post of 2019 is a hard one, isn’t it Raena. We do love our Training Tips posts, but we also enjoy the fun we have when our friends can join us for an adventure, like your big Masqerade Scavenger Hunt party. And of course me’s big end of year Friendship party was great too. Me’s favorite fun post of the year would have to be the Annual Blessing Train Run in December.
What was the biggest blogging challenge you faced in 2019, and how did you tackle it?
Those were for sure some fun posts sissy. I’s think our biggest challenge of last year was finding the time to write and visit friends. And to be honest, we didn’t tackle it very well at all. We are so grateful for all the friends that have stuck by us. We will definitely be getting back to some kind of normal as soon as our lease is recertified.
Motels are great, but I’s can’t wait to go home and get our real lives back.
One goal that we all seem to share is we want to reach more people. What is your #1 tip for bringing more traffic to your blog?
For sure Raena. Me so misses visiting with our friends on a regular basis. We would have to say that we haven’t really found the answer to this question. However, posting relevant material regularly and visiting others is probably the best way to build your readership…in our humble opinion.
Do you do sponsored posts/reviews? If so, what do you find works best and how do you determine what to charge for a blog post, social media shares, etc.? If not, is this something you’d like to do more of? What hurdle is getting in your way?
Oh MeOW, we love reviews and sponsored posts when we can pass along the Blessing or help others learn about the specific benefits or drawbacks of products. We would love to do more. A few of the hurdles we face is our reach and connections. And of course, our ethics. We will always tell the truth as we see it when it comes to the products we share. And, we only share products we use or have tried. We feel that we can’t truthfully recommend something we know nothing about.
Looking forward to 2020, if you accomplish only one thing through your blog, what do you hope it is?
Is that a loaded question or what?! We hope to help others learn to live happier, healthier lives with the felines in their homes by understanding them better. And of course, to have fun.
What steps are you planning to take to ensure you reach your goal?
Kittens!!! Research and more research is what we hope will help us achieve our goals for 2020.
The blogging landscape is constantly changing. What changes in blogging do you see coming in 2020 and beyond? What plans do you have to evolve?
Well, as much as we cats hate change, we hope to continue to stay on top of things and remain relevant. One can never stop learning, and we plan to try and keep up with the ever changing world while remaining true to ourselves.
If you could ask the pet blogging community for help with one challenge you’re having with your blog, what would it be?
We would really love to learn some coding, how to make a successful newsletter and more about SEO’s. Oops, guess that’s more than one thing…MOL.
MeOW Raena, it’s been a great journey so far. Me can’t wait to see what’s in store fur our future. Me’s gonna go link us up with Comedy Plus fur Feline Furiday and the Pet Blogger Journey and then me thinks me will have a nice mid meownin’ nap befur mommy gets busy straightening things up again.
Sounds good sissy. I’s too can’t wait to see what the future holds fur the Three Belles. Fanky fank you all fur joinin’ us and takin’ this journey with us.
Till the next time………………………………………………………….Be Blest!!!

I wish I could help. Coding and SEO and newsletters are Greek to me! Though since you’re on WordPress, you might look into Yoast. They also have a ton of free articles explaining SEO terms and practices (yoast DOT com). We hope this year is better for all of us!
