Blest Sunday: Homebound Is Our Norm

Meow-llo Dear Furiends. Another week has come and gone, and we purray all of you are staying safe and healthy. We’re fine here. We didn’t get out much befur this “pandemic”, so we don’t really notice much of a change. Y, ifin the store shelves weren’t purractically bare, we’d never know anythin’ was goin’ on.

What do you mean sissy? What’s goin’ on?

You know Raena, that whole pandemic thing that has peeps out of work and school. The reason there’s no bread or toilet paper in town. You know, why peeps are s’posed to be practicing “social distancing”.

Oh, that. Yeah, I’s seen a few of those meme things online the other day with kitties complaining cuz their humans were home all the time now. I’s can’t ‘magine what it would be like to have mommy anywhere but home with us. Can you ‘magine wantin’ a lap to lay in or wantin’ some chin scritches and not havin’ mommy around to give them to ya’? These kitties are missin’ the Blessing.

Yeah Raena, that they are. Anyways, we’re purrayin’ fur all our furiends and their families to be safe and stay healthy, ‘specially right now. We do think this whole thing has been blown way out of purrpurrtion, but we certainly don’t want anypawdy to get sick or die.

Of course not sissy. We luvs our furiends so much. Meowin’ of furiends, we wanna fanky fank awnty Susan fur sendin’ us some green papers. And, our furiends Seshat and Kephri sent mommy some cheese and crackers yesfurday. We really purreciate it. Mommy purromissed she’d share the cheese with us. We do luvs cheese.

Yeah Raena, we are so very Blest.

That we are sissy. I’s sure hope that “social distancing” doesn’t mean we can’t send our furiends hugs. I’s gonna link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies. Then I’s thinkin’ I’s might grab mommy’s lap fur a mid day nap. No social distancing welcome in our house.

Not ifin me gets there furst Raena. As we do each week, we’d like to remind you to take a minute today and every day to Give Thanks fur the Blessings in your lives. Thank you fur bein’ Blessings in ours.

Till the next time………………………………………………………….Be Blest!!!

  1. Yeah, I don’t understand some humans that hoard the toilet paper, masks, sprays, and other supplies and don’t leave enough for everybody else.

At least our mommas have us to take care of them and help keep the virus at bay, right? Luvs and hugs.

  2. Our mom and dad are working from home and social distancing from other humans for about three weeks now. We like that we get so much more attention and quality time with them. Hugs to you both, and Mommy A, too.

  4. We are almost always home with our kitties too. The only thing I miss is not getting to see my great nieces except on zoom. Keep your mommy healthy. XO

  5. up, we are blest, cause pawppy can work from home as do the unfurbros as well…but, petcretary still has to go to her work as scheduled, she does health care…and that building is locked down pretty tight right now. We don’t want any virus in there…

Petcretary can go shopping if she needs anything, trouble is, like your Mommy said, the things she would like to get are often not there or are rationed. How do they ration stuff for large families, say the ration is one pkg of chicken, but they are a family of many children and hungry bellies? Sheesh. I think if they ration, it should be x number per so many peeps in the household.
Oh, well, we do not have a huge freezer, nor a large pantry, so we cna’t hoard unless we want to fill up our living space, MOL! The other day there actually WAS TP and other paper products. Wow!
What is in severe short supply is hand sanitizer, soap and the items to make your own sanitizer, also cleaning wipes and go figure cat food, the wet kind. Chewy to the rescue! Phew!
She will try to get out again tomorrow for the Senior hour, or on April 1, for the essential worker hour. (7 – 8 am…OMC!)

You all take care, and may God give you the blessing of health during these scary days.

    Hugs!!
