Hey dear sweet furiends, how’ve ya’ been? The ongoing saga with our internets continues. (Raena shakes her head and licks her paw) Yep, our internets kept going out. Mommy was livid when it went out the other ‘night’ at 3 a.m.. So, she did all the reboot things customer service machines tell you to do when you call in. Ya’ know, ya’ don’t get a real live purrson anymore. Another thing that makes mommy quite angry. 

 

 

 

          Yeah Raena, mommy always says ifin she’s calling ‘em then it’s time to talk to a purrson who can actually send someone out. And quite frankly, me’s gets tired of hearing her yellin’ “agent” into the phone fur an hour. 

 

 

 

Fur sure sissy. You’d think there’d be a shortcut or somethin’ fur those who’ve actually already gone thru the steps the automated system spits out a million times. But Nooooooooooo, ya’ have to sit thru all it’s checks and pauses and clicks. Anyways, by the time mommy actually got the internet company to answer, we were back online. But, there’s no way mommy was hanging up. Our new modem is only 2 weeks old and it’s still going out constantly. 

 

I’s guess cuddle’s are outta the question right now.

 

 

 

          But, since we were already back online when the automated machine answered, mommy figured she was gonna be told everything looked fine. Kittens was she surprised when the automated system told her she would have to speak to an agent in order to fix the problem on our line. 

 

Yeppers sissy, ifin the machine had just transferred her thru one of the hunnerd million times she was yelling agent, the call wouldn’t have taken so long. And, mommy wouldn’t have been so frustrated. Once she got a purrson, she was even more shocked that they scheduled someone to come out later that day. 

 

          She might’ve been shocked Raena, but she was thrilled. That never happens. Another thing that never happens is that the repair man shows up on time. But, this one did!!! Mommy was beside herself happy…and hopeful that things might actually get fixed this time. 

 

We may never get to bed.

 

 

 

Ain’t that the truth sissy. It was no surprise to mommy when he said the outside wiring was as old as Methuselah and that the box was full of fire ants. She was surprised tho’ when he told her the “new” modem we’d just been sent was a piece of junk. He also told her our old modem was the bestest they ever made. And cuz of that AT&T had been sending out viruses trying to make them crash fur the last year so that customers would have to replace them with their new inferior modems. Altho’ mommy felt justified in her theorizing, she also got purretty angry. After all, they’d charged us almost $200.00 fur that modem years ago.  

 

          (Dezi shakes her head) Yeah Raena, lying, cheating and stealing are among the things mommy hates the most. Thankfully, the nice repairman had a new modem to swap out fur the junk we’d just got and he laid some new wiring in the house at no charge. He also said he’d put in fur them to rewire the outside so that hopefully, it’ll fix our problems. He did say it’d probably take a couple of weeks befur they’d get it done, so we might experience a few more of those outages t’ween now and then. 

 

 

 

 

But sissy, he gave mommy his cell number and told her to text him ifin there was a problem, and he’d look into it and let her know ifin she needed to call customer service to get an appointment scheduled or ifin he could take care of it from his ipad. Kittens!!! What a Blessing!!! We sure hope this saga comes to an end soon. Fur the furst time, we seem to be on the right track to getting it really fixed.
