Hey dearest furiends, I’s Luuuuuuuuuuuvs You verrrrrrrrrry Much!!! Yeppers, whole whole bunches and bunches. I’s tell ya’, I’s one Blest kitty girl fur sure. I’s have a pawsum luvving mommy and the bestest furiends in the universe. What more could a kitty ask fur? Now, I’s not trying to be greedy or nothing, but I’s wouldn’t mind some sunshine and warmer weather.
Just lookit what we woke up too this meowning. (Raena points to the photo below) And yes, it’s just as cold as it looks. Can you believe it’s actually 10° below zero out there? Brrrrrrrrrrr Grrrrrrrrrrr (Raena shudders) To be honest, ifin mommy hadn’t opened the door to take a foto, I’s wouldn’t really have known how cold 10° below zero is. But, now that I’s do, I’s really worried about the ginger tom that’s been hanging around our apartments lately. Mommy’s been trying to leave some noms out fur him, and last night, she put out some blankeys in a box. We hoped he’d use ‘em to stay warm. There was no sign he used ‘em this meowning. I’s so worried about all the kitties who don’t have what I’s do.
That’s very sweet of you Raena. I worry about them too. I hate that our little ginger is so afraid of people that he runs off every time he sees a human. And, I hope he found some place to stay warm and sheltered last night and every time it’s cold.
I’s do too mommy. In other mews, we’ve had quite the week here. Ya’ll may remember, I’s had to go to the V-E-T this week. The neighbor finally agreed to let me in her car, so long as mommy bundled me up in a towel and cleaned up any furs that might have flown off during the trip. She was gonna get her COVID shot while I’s was seeing Dr. stabby and grabby. We’d had this appointment scheduled fur over a week, so imagine our surprise when Mrs. N called from her doctors office on Monday to tell mommy to reschedule it fur Tuesday cuz somepawdy told her that she’d probably have some flu like symptoms after getting her shot. Mommy tried to explain that it wouldn’t happen the minute she got the shot, but Mrs. N wasn’t hearing any of it. So, mommy called and rescheduled mine’s appointment fur Tuesday meowning. Mommy hadn’t planned to stay up all night when she got up Monday, but she was gonna do whatever was necessary to get me to mine’s appointment. Even tho’ I’s kept telling her I’s felt fine and we could just skip mine’s appointment this year.
Honey, you know you have to get a yearly checkup. I know you’re healthy. And, we want to keep it that way.
No vet fotos this time, mommy was way too stressed out to remember such things.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. Anyways, we were taken completely by surprise when Mrs. N called at 9:30 Monday night to say it was gonna get down to 20° so she didn’t want to get out Tuesday. Mommy explained that while mine’s health was the primary reason fur our visit, we also had to get a letter from the V-E-T fur the apartments and our lease recert which is due this month. And, that ifin she didn’t take us, we’d have to try to walk the 35 miles there and 35 miles back. I’s could see mommy freaking out thru her tears. Y, she can barely walk to the mailboxes on a good day, and she’s fallen a few times this week. Ya’ may be wondering why we’d have to walk. Well, our car won’t start again. It’s an Oldsmobile and mommy says they hate the cold. And, there’s no public transportation, so feet are all we have. Remember, the movers broke mommy’s wheelchair. Course, it wouldn’t stay charged fur 35 miles. Anyways, knowing it could take us hours ifin not days to get those 35 miles, mommy bundled me and herself up as bestest she could and we started hoofing it to Ardmore. Thanky thankfully, Mrs. N changed her mind befur we got to end of the block and told mommy she’d take us. Kittens!!! It was freezing out there. As I’s been telling mommy, Dr. stabby and grabby said I’s was the picture of health. He did say I’s would be needing a dental befur long, but that it could wait fur now. He suggested a water additive in the meantime and, he gave mommy some drops fur mine’s eyes, which still gunk up now and again. And, $70.00 later we headed back home. Thanky thank you awnty Vonda fur the green papers to put towards mine’s visit.
You’re putting stuffs in mine’s water now?
Yes Raena, Dr. stabby and, uh I mean Dr. C did recommend a water additive. He said there were several on the market that work, but didn’t specify which one to get. So, if any of our friends are using one they think works and that their kitties will drink, please let us know.
Drink? I’s don’t like medicine mommy. Guess I’s’ll have to start checking mine’s water bowl more closely. Hmmmpht Humans and their additives. Do any of you other kitties get abused like that?
RaenaBelle Mayce, that’s not abuse!
Hmmmpht Depends on your purrspective mommy. (Raena giggles) I’s bet all kitties would agree with me that humans hiding medicines in our food and water is abuse. Anyways, enough about that. It’s Valentine’s day. A day fur luvs. And, since it’s so cold, I’s gonna spend it giving you lots and lots of extra cuddles and lap luvving.
Thank you baby. I always love it when you want to cuddle. I love you very much.
Good, cuz I’s luvs cuddling. I’s also entered mine’s good furiend Valentine’s luvs contest. You can read all the entries including mine’s, here. We didn’t get around to much visiting this week. T’ween mine’s appointment and mommy’s falls, she’s not been up to helping me online much. Mommy’ll be okay, she’s just sore, swollen, and bruised up a bit. And, she’s had to mop a few times cuz of messes she made on her way down. She spilled coffee and dinner and…
Raena! Too much information. I’m sure they get the point.
Well, okay mommy, ifin you say so. Anyways, I’s linking up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies. And, as we do each week, we’d like to remind you, to take a minute today and every day to Give Thanks fur the Blessings in your life. Thanky thank you fur being Blessings in ours. And, Happy Valentine’s Day!!!
Till the next time……………………………………………………………………..Be Blest!!!

I’m so glad you submitted a letter for my contest and I hope you had a Happy Valentine’s Day.
I thank the stars that Mrs. N gave you a ride in her car even though it meant that you had to go to the V-E-T. Sisfur Myrnie has gone to the V-E-T three times this month, ’cause she’s been real sick. Mom says I get my teeth cleaned next month, but maybe I can hide my catlendar so she won’t remember the date. Tee hee hee.
HAPPY BLOGOVERSARY ON FEB. 18! Hugs and luvs.
