Hey dearest furiends, how’s it been going? I’s telling ya’, it’s been exhausting around here. That Zebby seems to never run out of energy. Kittens!!! Zebby, where are you? (Raena pauses and looks around. She sees Zebby strolling through with a toy hanging from his mouth) Zebby, why didn’t you answer me?

          (Zebby stops, drops the toy and looks around before meowing back) Are you meowing to me RaenaBelle?

Of course I’s meowing to you Zeb. Who else would I’s be meowing too?

          Well, I’s don’t know, I’s thought mommy changed my name. She’s always hollering, Stop it, come’ere. I’s thought that was my new name.

Oh purrlease Zebby, don’t be so dramatic. You know good and well mommy didn’t change your name. And, you know exactly why she hollers stop it. You know you’re not allowed to bite the cords. It’s just as much for your purrtection as it is a rule. And well, mommy just luvs us to spend time with her. She’ll be saying come here fur the rest of your life. MOL And, since you’ve been hogging her lap, I’s would think you’re okay with that.

          Oh yes Raena, I’s luvs spending time with mommy. And, I’s especially luvs lap time. Mommy’s lap is the bestest seat in the house.

Yes it is Zeb. You just need to learn to share every once in a while. After all, I’s was here furst. And, I’s being really generous sharing with you to begin with. You know most of our furiends said they thought I’s was too good to you letting you crawl all over me and everything. Maybe we need to set up some boundaries and rules.

          Rules Raena? You know I’s don’t like rules. Why would you wanna make more rules than mommy already has?

Gee I’s don’t know Zebby. Maybe cuz it’s one thing fur you to watch me use the pawtty box, and it’s another fur you to jump in the box with me and try to jump on mine’s back. Or, fur you to try to jump on me while I’s getting a drink of water. I’s mean, really…you need some boundaries boy. You need to understand who’s in charge…and it ain’t you!!!

Whatever. Mommy says now you know what it was like fur Dezi in the beginning. I’s not sure what she’s talking about, but she always seems to snatch me up at the most inoppurrtune times.

Yeah, I’s needed to learn some boundaries back then too. Anyways, we’re running way late today, so let’s wrap this up and take a little afternoon nap.
