Blest Sunday: Something Ain’t Right

Hey dearest furiends, how are ya’? Let me tell ya’, we’ve had a really tough week around here. Our air conditioner went out and so did our fridge. Sure enough, when it rains it pours. MOL (Zebby looks at Raena and starts to speak) Oh, and of course, Zebby had his big boy spa day.

Yeah sis, about that. I’s think we need to talk. I’s might not know exactly what a spa day entails, but I’s purretty sure that’s not what happened to me. Let me tell ya’, I’s didn’t have fun or relax at all. And, I’s swear something’s missing. I’s just not felt the same since. Apparently I’s stank when I’s came home cuz Raena hissed at me. Can you believe it? Hissed!!! I’s mean, what’s up with that? She acted like she didn’t even know me. I’s know she couldn’t have been jealous, cuz I’s didn’t have any fun.

Really Zebby? (Raena says wryly) You didn’t enjoy your spa day?

No Raena, I’s didn’t. Kittens!!! I’s don’t even remember much of it. I’s remember mommy taking me to a place that really smelled bad. There were these huge pink animals in cages out front. Mommy said they were pigs. I ‘s could here mooing out the side door and then suddenly, this woman took me away from mommy and shoved me in the back in a cage next to these wooly beasts. Some guy came in a bit later and the next thing I’s know, I’s woke up from a deep sleep and my wooly neighbors had been replaced by barking woofies. I’s was purretty groggy, but I’s was all wet like I’s had had an accident in my furs or something. Thank heavens mommy finally showed up and brought me back home. Trust me, I’s will figure this out soon.

Good luck with that Zebby. We wanna know what happened during your time at the animal farm too, cuz you came home with some brand new annoying habits. Just who taught you to stand in the water dish and splash the water everywhere? And…

(Zebby laughs) Well Raena, I’s not telling.  Anyways, it’s Blest Sunday, and I’s wanna thank sweet Pearl and awnty Beth fur the green papers to get some special treats fur Raena and me and to put towards my new matching harness and bow tie.

Yeah Zebby, that sure was sweet of them. Since we’re counting our Blessings, we’re also grateful our a/c was repaired and a new fridge is on order and should be here the furst of this week. One was purchased locally, but when they brought it out and plugged it in, it didn’t work either. So, one had to be ordered. Can you believe the store had a brand new fridge that didn’t even work? Anyways, Blessings abound. Altho’ he came home with some new annoying habits, we’re glad Zebby came home and is doing great. We’re also thankful fur all of you and appreciate all the well wishes and purrayers.

Me too. I’s appreciate all those things too. I’s’ll go link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies and then we should ask mommy fur some of those tasty treats.

Sure Zebby. As we do each week, we’d like to remind you to take a minute today and every day to Give thanks fur the Blessings in your lives. Thanky thank you fur being Blessings in ours.

Mommy A here. Zebby went to the “local” big animal hospital for his neuter. They do limited small animal things like spay/neuters and vaccinations. They’re located about 10 minutes away as opposed to our regular vet who is 35 minutes away. And, Mrs. N was agreeable to Zebby being in the car without hesitation. He was also microchipped during his neuter. The vet said he did wonderfully and was very healthy 7 pound boy. I was a bit worried at first, because they asked if I wanted to pay extra so he could have pain meds. I was a bit shocked that was even a question. Zebby is the first kitty in a while that I haven’t been in attendance with for his surgery, so I was a bit stressed until he came home. I hope to never have to do that again. Other than a few “new bad habits”, he’s doing great and training is going well. We’ll resume our Training posts next week. There were photos of the hospital trip, but, long story short, my new phone saved them in a format nothing else seems to read.??? I didn’t know until after the fact.

Till the next time………………………………………………………Be Blest!!!

  1. Hi Mom A Dad says you should be able to tell your phone to save your photos as JPG in either the phone settings or the Apps settings.
Zebby we are all so proud of you for getting your Spa treatment. We all had ours and it is what big grown up kitties do.

    1. Zebby, We are furry glad that is all safely behind you, although, like your Mommt, We are rather shocked that they would expect her to pay extra for pain meds!!!
Sorry all your Mom’s appliances conked out at the same time (that’s Murphy Law).
Have a great week, all of you.

  4. Zebby, sometimes the things that are the best for you just aren’t the most fun. That’s okay.

May you have a new fridge soon, it’s no fun at all trying to live without one. Yes, these days it does happen that a new appliance right off the shelf will not work, and it’s sad.

Praying you’ve had a blessed and beautiful Sunday!
