Hey dearest furiends, it’s good to see ya’. It’s been a bit busy around here this week. The neighbor decided to check into the hospital, so mommy’s been looking after her new kitties. She’s got a little cold; nothing serious. But, you know, ifin insurance will pay, the hospital will be happy to check you in. She’s the only patient there, so she’s getting lots of attention. She may never wanna come home. MOL I’s gotta tell ya’, ifin somepawdy was waiting on me hand and paw…Oh, wait a minute, mommy does. Guess I’s better hush while I’s ahead. (Raena giggles and looks around to see if mommy A heard her)
RaenaBelle, aren’t the neighbor kitties our furiends? And, ifin they’re our furiends, aren’t we supposed to share mommy and help them? Even ifin it means that we get less lap time, or our meals are sometimes late?
Yes Zebby, they are our furiends. And yes, we’re supposed to help everypawdy when and ifin we can. Sometimes, I’s just wish we didn’t have to share. Sometimes, I’s just wanna be a bit selfish. I’s know it’s wrong, but…
Aaaaaaaaaw Raena, I’s luvs you. I’s will give you extra loving.
That’s very sweet of you Zebby…I’s think.
Well, lay down then.
Zebby? Are you bothering your sisfur?
What? No mommy, not me. I’s just giving her extra loving to make up fur the loving you’re giving to the neighbor’s kitties.
(mommy A interjects and speaks to our readers) As anyone with more than one kitty knows, you hope and pray they will get along. You look for any sign amidst the hisses and growls that things are going well. What you long to see is your cats grooming each other. That ‘s a true sign that they accept each other. While Raena and Zebby have gotten along great since the beginning, laying together, sharing lap space, and a few nose bumps have been the only signs of acceptance. Altho’, as with toys, cat trees, new beds, etc., our cats often do things long before we’re ever an audience to it. So, seeing these touching grooming scenes this week, brought tears to my eyes. I hope y’all enjoy seeing them as much as I did. Yes, I took a ton of photos. I have been truly Blest to have kitties that integrate seamlessly, and get along from the day they entered my home. I am in no way glossing over the fact that there have been and will continue to be some hissing and even growls. I’m just saying that for the most part, it’s been easy each time I’ve had to adopt a new kitty.
Okay Zebby, that’s enough! It’s time to count our Blessings. I’s so very thanky thankful fur all our amazing furiends. And, I’s grateful fur any lap loving time I’s get. I’s even thanky thankful fur you, Zebby.
I’s thankful fur you too Raena. We are some really Blest kitties fur sure. I’s thankful fur cozy blankeys, and sparkle balls. I’s know mommy needs to go play with the neighbor kitties, so I’s’ll go link us up with the Kitties Blue fur Sunday Selfies. Then, maybe you’ll turn on the flitter toy and we can play?
Sure Zebby, why not? As we do each week, we’d like to remind you to take a minute today and every day to Give Thanks fur the Blessings in your lives. Thanky thank you fur being Blessings in ours.
Till the next time…………………………………………………………Be Blest!!!
Luvs and Hugs and Kitty Kisses
