Hey dearest furiends, how are you? We’ve been bundled up and trying to stay warm the last few days. I’s telling ya’, I’s so ready fur summer to get here. I’s tired of all this up and down of the weather, aren’t you?

 

 

 

 

          (Jumping up and down, Zebby butts in) Hey RaenaBelle, aren’t you furgetting something?

 

 

 

(Raena grins coyly) whatever are you meowing about Zebby?

 

 

 

Uh, My BIRTHDAY!!! (Zebby meows with a puzzled look on his face) Don’t you remember? You said my first birthday is tomorrow. And, since we don’t post on Mondays, I’s thought that meant we would celebrate me today.

 

 

 

(Raena smiles) I’s didn’t furget Zebby. And you’re right…sort of. We’ve been celebrating you all month so far. I’s was thinking that we’d throw a big pawrty next month to celebrate my birthday and your gotchaday. And this month, we’d just have a quiet no fuss celebration. You know, we need time to plan a big pawrty and all. And, since your birthday, mine’s birthday and your gotchaday fall so close together, we’d rather do one really cool event than to just throw a bunch of small ones together haphazardly…right?

 

 

 

          Uh, well, I’s guess so. Does that mean I’s don’t get any special treatment or stuffs this month?

 

 

 

No Zebby, you get everything but the big pawrty. Y, I’s even let you have first dibs on the new turbo scratcher we just won. You know, in honor of your birthday and all.

 

 

 

          Oh Raena, that thing is soooooo much fun. I’s luvs it!!!

 

 

 

Yeah Zebby, they’re great. We used to have a couple, but mommy fell on one and broke it and the movers broke the other one. So, I’s was so happy when we won this one.

 

 

 

 

          You had one of these befur? That’s so cool. I’s also wanted to thank awnty Vonda fur the birthday green papers. Mommy says my prezzie will be here tomorrow, so we’ll take lots of fotos to post later. And, my favorite noms are rabbit and duck, and mommy got me a whole 5 pounds of duck the last time she bought food; so I’s been enjoying duck fur dinner this month.

 

 

 

Don’t furget the turkey hearts Zebby. She bought us a big bag of freeze dried turkey heart treats to share. They’re so tasty. See, just because your not having a pawrty doesn’t mean you’re not getting the royal treatment.

 

 

 

          Yeah Raena, you’re right. I’s one Blest tabby kitten fur sure. I’s so Blest to have you and mommy and all our amazing furiends. This has been the bestest year ever!!!

 

 

 

Well, hold on to your stripes there big boy, it just gets better. We also wanted to thank awnty Anonymous fur the green papers. Mommy found a product called Cushion Grip, that’s supposed to be like a soft liner fur her dentures. She hopes to get some soon. It’s supposed to help make them fit better, temporarily. At this point, she’s ready to try anything. Her teethies are so loose, they’re rubbing sores in her mouth and kind of hurt. But, she can’t eat without them. So, hopefully, this stuff will help.

 

 

 

          I’s hope so Raena. Altho’, I’s will miss chasing them when they fly outta her mouth. (Zebby laughs)
