Meowllo everypawdy and a happy Blest Sunday. Sure hope yous enjoyed seein’ sissy play yesfurday. Mommy sez hers always luvs to see us hav a good time. Well as you know ow puter’s been duin’ lots of updatin’ and weez been duin’ a  lot of we-installin’ lately so weez not only got behind in Blogville, but we haven’t been on Facebook as much eever. We finally got da chance da udder day to visit wiff ow Facebook furiends and we had a message on sis Lexi’s page. Da message wuz askin’ us to share a posty/page, but da foto wuz horrific. Me had planned to make a winter posty alweady but when mommy saw da foto she knew we had to do it soon. After a lot of leaks fwum mommy’s eyes she closed da message and we didn’t share it. Dat dusn’t mean we won’t share yous pages or udders fur dat matter, but mommy likes to keep ow pages rated G. Mommy almost kuldn’t handle da foto, we fur sure wuldn’t want sum of ow younger followers to see dat.

Yes, we do agwee dat sumtimes and fur sum peeps “shock” and gore is da only fing dat makes them unnewstand. But we know we hav sum very caring and intelligent furiends dat not hav to be shocked and horrified. It’s winter and it’s cold outside. We fink most of you use common sense when it comes to yous pets and da gweat outdoors. But this posty isn’t ‘bout yous furries dat be curled up beside you now and stayin’ warm, it’s ‘bout all those furries dat not hav a home or warmff. It’s ‘bout all da ferals and abandoned furries. Twust me, they wuldn’t hav chosen to be out in this wedder. It wuz a hooman sumwhere along da way dat be wesponsible fur them bein’ outside. And now it be up to da hoomans to help take care of them. It makes us so sad and angwy to fink ‘bout all da furries havin’ to live outside, specially in sum aweas dat be pawfully cold.

So we fawt dat we wuld share a foo “winter tips” wiff you to make it better fur all. Purrlease member to knock on da hood of yous car afur you get in and turn it on. Kitties awe out there lookin’ fur warmff anywhere they can find it. Da foto we won’t be showin’ you all wuz da wesult of a kitty sleepin’ in da engine awea of a car dat wusn’t checked first. Ifin you hav ferals or abandoned animals in yous awea, purrlease help them ifin you can. Check and see ifin there’s a TNR purrogwam in yous awea and if so, contact them fur assistance. Fwesh dwinkin’ water and a bowl of food wuld be weally pureciated as prey gets even more scarce in da winter, and huntin’ becomes hawder. And each winter is da first one sum kitties be spendin’ out there.

There awe sevewal options fur purrvidin’ a warm shelter fur them to escape da elements. They can even be made fwum every cats favowit, a box. Tape it up and make a entwy a foo inches fwum da bottom and cover it wiff a heavy duty plastic twash bag. Tape dat up also and add straw or shwedded newspaper fur warmff and insulation. There awe so many udder options and even sum you can buy pwe made. Yous can add heat wiff wiff heatin’ pads, etc.. Be sure to keep them cleaned out and use fwesh beddin’ offen. Ifin at all pawssible place da shelter in an awea where it be purrtected fwum da elements but also away fwum twaffic so dat a skeered feral will use it. Be careful wiff da antifweeze too as it be toxic. These awe just a foo fings dat will help da outside kitties and yous winter go a little smoother.

We awe so glad we hav a furever home and a mommy hoo luvs us very much. A warm place to lay ow heads and full plates to fill ow bellies. And all of ow wunnewful furiends. Fank you all. We awe twuly blest.

Blest Sunday, No Matter What

Meowllo everypawdy.  This be da first Blest Sunday of da new year.  As most of you know, cuz weez been askin’ yous to purray; sis Lexi’s not feelin’ so good.  Hers has ups and downs, good days and bad days.  See sissy likes noms.  And me means most any noms.  Mommy has always joked dat she wuld eat most anyfin’ dat didn’t eat hers first.  It wusn’t uncommon fur her to twy to eat everypawdy’s meal.  An then she just quit.  She ate a bit, but not enough and stawted losin’ sum weight.  Now me knows there’s purrawlly those of you hoo finks she kuld stand to lose a foo pounds, but twuff is, she wusn’t weally dat much over weight, and da VET sed hers weight wuz fine.  Udder than da eatin’ or lack of it, she wuz actin’ fine.  Lots of purrin’ and playin’ and luvvin’ on mommy and me.  And fur da last kupple of days, hers ate everyfin’ on hers plate at boff meals and kep it down.  So we weally believed hers wuz getting’ better.  And then yesfurday afternoon hers wuz layin’ in mommys lap and she suddenly jumped and got down and hers skin wuz twitchin’ like cwazy and she wuz bitin’ at hers selff.  She just kuldn’t get comfy.  She wuz up and down fwum mommys lap least a half dozen times afur she finally settled down and wuz able to nap.

So weez askin’ ifin yous kuld spare a purrayer or two fur meez sissy.  See we awe so blest to hav all of you as ow furiends.  And we hav been so blest to wecieve so much luv fwum you.  But mommy and me…we weally need sissy to get better.  We luv hers more than anyfin’ in da universe and we need her here wiff us feelin’ like Lexi.  Even ifin dat means hers twies to steal meez noms.  We know there be lots of udder anipals dat need purrayers too, so purrlease just say one extwa.  Member we awe all blest cuz weez all here and hav each udder.  WE purray this year be da bestest year so faw and they only get better.  Count yous blessings, you know you hav a foo.

Blest Sundays’ Angel Cats Christmas

Meowllo everypawdy!!!  Me sure did miss y’all.  Weez finally back.  Weez been visitin’ sum, but mommy can’t do much of da one fingered typin’ wequired by da iPad.  It wreaks havoc wiff hers cawpal tunnel.  But now we hav da lappy top back up and all da updates and purrogwams installed, we fink (MOL) so weez can finally comment on yous bloggies again.  WooHoo  Mommy sez to all of ya’, get yous sum of those fumm dwives and back up anyfin’ yous not wanna lose!!!  Cuz we lost a lot of stuffs dat weez can’t seem to find in any of those cloud places we use.  But at da end of da day weez glad da puter’s gunna be okay even tho’ we lost so much stuffs.  Dat can all be weplaced.     DA FOLLOWIN’ FOTOS BE IN NO PURRTICULAW ORDER. Now, on to better stuffs.  As you all know me had a kupple Angel Cats dat sent Christmas purresents.  And oh what a day we had.  When we got up of course we had ow special can of noms, 1 each.  And then we lounged wound wiff mommy fur a bit and lissened to da story of Jesus’ birff.  Then mommy got da camewa weady and down came da stockins.  Catnip and tweats a purrlenty wuz in them.  Shoko had sent us a big ole bag of dat Canadian nip, and mommy hid it in da stockins after givin’ us a little taste.  Mommy got a box of Canadian chocolates.  Then we stawted wiff da gifts fwum angel Gracie, meez fellow scout and da Sew Master.  When yous join Cat Scouts (here), Gracie can whip you up a uniform in no time.  Anyways, OMC da toys and tweats we got.  Fank you soooooo much Gracie, we luvved everyfin’.  We even got a “Red Dot” mousy.  Wait’ll you see da fotos of dat.  MOL  Yous can sure tell weez never played “red dot” afur.  MOL

Next, we got a Christmas cawd fwum anudder of meez fellow scouts.  Actually thwee of them and their furmily.  And in dat envelope, there wuz more than just a cawd.  Fank you so very much Tiger, Trouble, Dora and furmily.  Yous be so sweet and fawtful.  Luv, Luv, Luvved ow cawd and purrezzies.  And as you all know we write fur da Daily Mews, and Miss Pauline and Casey (cat) sent us da cutest little dangly legged mousys.  Fank you boff, weez luv ’em.   And meez Andy and hims furmily sent a bootyful cawd wiff a little extwa too.  Fank you Andy and furmily, yous so sweet. Ow Facebook awnty Lene and Princess sent us and mommy sum goody gifts too.  Fank you, yous awe da bomb.

And then we got to da anonymous angel cat gifts.  Oh da toys and tweats.  We played and ate tweats till we wuz worn plumm out.  Fank you soooooo much Angel Cat and furmily, you da bestest.  Mommy also got sum purrezzies fwum ow angel cats.  She luvs hers too.  We felt so special and gwatefull.  We awe so twuly Blest!  Ow Facebook awnty Jennifer and gwand awnty Peggy sent a gift cawd and mommy picked out ow gits fwum them and we got a Chia gawden of gwass and a Nekko wand attachment  Fank you boff and yous furmilies.  We weally purreciate y’all and all you do fur us.

Meowllo and a Blest Sunday to you all.  Weez awe sum very blest kitties to hav all of you in ow lives.  Weez been gettin’ so many pawsum and bootyful Christmas cawds boff fwu da snail mail and email.  Fank you all fur yous wunnewful Holiday wishes.  This is da last Blest Sunday afur Christmas.  And weez so fankful to be togedder and sharin’ ow Christmas wiff you also.

Now fur da pawt yous all been waitin’ fur.  Weez hav a winner fur da 40 pound bag of Multi Cat SwheatScoop.  And awe weez ever gwateful fur random name selectors.  Weez hate to choose ‘tween peeps, so of course we didn’t.  Weez used Random Picker.com. It’s purretty cool.  Weez didn’t know ‘bout it when we stawted da give away or weez wulda made da pick public.  It works a lot like Rafflecopter.  Anyways we put in all da names dat entered and pawed da choose button and da winner is: Suntan Midori.  ConCatulations  Obi and Fank you all fur entewin ow very first ever give away.  We sure do hope dat weez get to do more of these in da future.

Yesfurday we told you all dat me wuz gunna be playin’ Therapy cat fur da wesidents of da nursin’ home.  It wuz cold outside, let me tell you.  Me wants summer back.  Anyways, we had planned on takin’ a foo fotos, but we didn’t know da purrivacy rules.  Weez wun’t allowed to take and post fotos of da wesidents wiffout welease forms bein’ signed by them or their power of attorney.  Well this wuz ow first year goin’ and bloggin’.  Anyways, we had a good time and most of them seemed to enjoy meez visit.

And us Cat Scouts had a gweat time at da Norff Pole wiff Santa.  It wuz just a one day twip, but we got to see so much.  Dat Sammy is a gweat twip planner.  Me can’t wait to see what hims got planned fur da nex time.  Altho’ mommy sez she hopes we get a bit of rest and awe fwu twip takin’ till after da first of da year. MOL
