Howdy y’all, how ya’ be duin’? As you all know weez be in Nashville at da Blog{aws Conference havin’ a blast. Wait’ll ya’ hear ‘bout our twip to get here. OMC!!! But weez gunna save dat fur when we get back. MOL Well like me sed weez be havin’ a blast but we awe tired. All oof us includin’ mommy. Now you all know dat mommy be a caffeine addict, wight? Well dat be twu, but she duz have hers purrfured bwands of caffeine poisons. Mommy luvs hers coffee, but when it be hotter than a two dollaw whore on a log stove se likes a colder caffeine in da furm of coke. Do you know what she can’t get any of in all this hotel…COKE. Nope, nowhere in this overpurriced hotel in any event or vendin’ machine. She saw a young boy on a balcony acwoss da way wiff a coke and asked him where hims got it. Yep yous guessed it, they bwought ‘em wiff ‘em.

Well anyways, da convention is in full swing today. When mommy was getting’ weady to go down this meownin’ Lexi got so fwaid mommy was gunna go down wiffout her dat she jumped up in da stwoller afur mommy was even weady and waited. So mommy took sis Lexi to bwekky wiff her and to da meownin’ class and exhibit hall. They weally raked in da goodies let me tell ya’. But mommy fawt dat it might be a little much fur sissy and bwought her back to da room and got me. Well you shulda seen da cat twee they had down their iin da kitty section of da exhibit hall. Well stead of me tellin’ ya ‘bout it let me just show ya’. Me got to play model, by da way. Everypawdy was gathewin’ wound and talkin’ ‘bout me and snappin’ fotos wight and left. Well why wuldn’t they? Mommy sez me is a very purretty girly and me sure was enjoyin’ da limelight. MOL

OMC me furgot to tell ya’ dat when mommy came bwingin’ sissy back to da room earlier, Ms. Ava fwum ChristyPaws came to visit too. And then there was a knck on da door and it was Sophie and Ms. Emily fwum da Kitty Cat Chronicles. Well me had to show meez tired ole hiney and me wuldn’t even come out to play. But sissy and Sophie played a bit afur sissy runned off. Dat Sophie be quite energetic. We don’t fink hers had nearly as long a twip as we did, cuz dat girl just didn’t get tired. MOL But she was a cutey indeed. Weez just luv her. Fanks fur stoppin’ by. Sowry weez wasn’t up to playin’, maybe next time.

Anyways, mommy and me went to a class, and altho’ we sat in da back there was this doggy dat kep twyn’ to lunge at me. And finally hims bwoke loose and did and barked and growled. It scared me a bit, so mommy bwought me back upstairs and she went back fur more visitin’ and classes. Well me has so much more to tell ya’ but weez gotta get weady fur Happy Meow-ur and our interview and visit wiff nun udder than awnty Mary. And as we do every Furiday weez joining Rascal and Rocco fur da Pet Purrade

Well here we are runnin’ late again. MOL Mommy was all packed up wiff da ‘ception of da last minute fings, last week. And then she read a bloggy dat caused her to unpack and stawrt over again. Hoomans, y’all do sum of da funniest fings. Anyways, she’s just ’bout to wrap it up again and then jump in da shower and weez’ll be off. Weez dwivin’ up to see da hooman of Prancer Pie. She be our ride. And cuz she be 4 hours away fwum us weez dwivin’ there today so we can get a early stawrt in da meownin’ and get on to Nashville. Now let me tell ya’ sumfin’. You all know weez have had pawful stowrms all mumff long here and no sunshine. Till today when da sun came out and mommy checked da wedder and now dat we be leavin’ town and da state, da wedder sez all clear and sunny here. MOL  Can you believe dat? Oh well, weez still ‘cited and ready to go. There seems to be conflictin’ tales ’bout da wifi at da hotel, so all weez’ll say iis dat weez hope to post sumfin at sumtime. Lexi and me wanna wish our mommy a Happy Birffday today. Yep weez’ll be celebwatin’ all weekend long. MOL Y’all be good and don’t furget ’bout us and weez’ll be finkin’ ’bout all of ya’.

Blest Sunday Special

Meowllo evewypawdy and fanks fur stoppin’ by today. We hope yous had a gweat weekend. OMC Wait’ll ya’ hear da news we have. We got mowe funnewstorms and wain as spected, but fank catness there wuz no hail. Dat wuld be ow furst blessin’ this week. Cuz at this point weez feelin’ a little waterlogged. MOL And it went and got cold again but at least we didn’t have snow. Ow poor furiend Foxy had snow da uddew day. Anyways, ‘nuff ‘bout da wedder wight? As always weez count ourselves among da blest cuz we have each udder. And we have all of you. We gotta tell ya’  this ole world can be hawsh. But it’s so much easier to bear when yous have furiends and furamily yous can lean on.

There’s been a lot of loss wound da blogosphre this mumff and lots of sick kitties, doggies, hoomans and mowe. So purrlease don’t furget to purray fur yous furiends. We fink purrayers be good whedder yous be sick or not, dat’s why weez purray fur all of ya’ evewyday.

Now as you all know we got a ticket to Blogpaws a while back. Wuz we sum kinda ‘cited or what? Ifin me has to answer dat yous be new. Welkum to Deziz World, and da answer is YES!!! Course mommy hadn’t weally taken into considewation any costs. So she stawted lookin’ at motels and we wuld have to went a caw cuz she dusn’t twust ow caw to go dat faw. Anyways, then mommy panicked. Not weally but it sounded good. Actually mommy did what any good mommy wuld do and stawted contactin’ companies to see ifin we kuld get a sponsor. She fawt ‘bout havin’ an auction, and then posted and asked ifin anypawdy wuz dwivin’ dat we kuld ride wiff. To which we got a email wiff a maybe. Yeah mommy saw da maybe but didn’t let dat deter her. She wuz believin’ fur a yes to follow. Weeks seemed like years waitin’ fur da yes, and still we had no idea how we wuld pay fur da hotel. By now mommy had signed up to do weviews fur pay so long as she appwoved of da purroduct and we kuld be honest. You know we won’t lie to ya’ just fur a foo gween papews. Turns out there wuz no weviews fur money to be had.

By this time mommy wuz finally stawtin’ to see weality and fink we might not get to go after all. And then last week mommy opened ow email and there it wuz…we had a ride to BlogPaws. OMC Mommy cwied as usual and then weality sunk in. There wuz only a mumff left and there wuz still no way we kuld afford a room. Any extwa munny mommy can find goes towards sis Lexi’s tweatments and ow cawe. And mommy findin’ extwa munny dusn’t happen. But we have been twuly blest to have sum of you help wiff doctows poinments and tweatments and noms and litter. We awe so vewy gwateful to you fur dat. So mommy made a last ditch effowt and made a posty askin’ fur a room mate. It’s not like we knew where da munny wuz gunna come fwum fur half da room, but it seemed easier to fink ‘bout than da whole amount. But still no weplies. Well it stawted stowmin’ again so mommy shut down da puter and we all sat wound just watchin’ sum teevee. Yep yous wead dat wight, me didn’t wun off.

Mommy wuz pettin’ us and we wuz purrin’ and hers sed, “We got a ticket and a ride and it just seems like it was meant to be. How could I be so wrong?” And mommy hugged us boff and told us she luvved us. Da stowm let up a bit and mommy wuz wunnewin’ ‘bout da dose of Vit. B-12 she wuz givin’ Lexi so we went to da suppowt gwoup and we found a post ‘bout a purrcedure we wusn’t sure ifin Brians furmily had heard ‘bout. You know Brian’s been weally fightin’ a battle wiff these UTI’s. And as you know mommy lost Lucky and Ransom to this pawful disease so we feel kinda close to Brian. We worry ‘bout all ow furiends and twy to help when we can. So we sent an email wiff da infurmation we found.

Meowllo evewypawdy and a blest Sunday to ya’. Mommy, Lexi and me got an invitation of sorts in da email da udder day, but well as wiff most stuff tech, mommy didn’t quite unnewstand it and then we furgot and missed it. What wuz it you ask? Well  it wuz a discussion/lesson by a panel of pawsum Cat writers/bloggers. At least nex time weez’ll unnewstand da invite and be able to set a’minder fur it. Cuz we watched it after da fact, and it wuz pawsum!!! Altho’ me knows da panel of ladies rarely weads meez bloggy, me wuld like to fank them fur their time and infurmation. Ifin yous a blogger of any kind yous oughtta check it out here. Altho’ da panel wuz made up of Cat Bloggers, da infurmation given wuz good fur all bloggers.

They talked ‘bout bwandin’ and integwity. You know weez been vewy blest. When we stawted in social media we made it clear dat we wuld always tell da twuff no matter what. Dat meant even when it didn’t put a good light on us or even ifin it hurt us, we wuz gunna tell it like it is. And most of ow furiends/followers tell us dat they like and wespect dat ‘bout us, and they believ us when we say sumfin’. Dat makes us very purroud and honored, but it also means we be held to a higher standawd. We hav to work hawder ifin weez postin’ sumfin’ educational specially, cuz you ow furiends awe welyin’ on us to giv you da facts, not just ow opinion. You awe twustin’ us to not mislead you or giv you bad infurmation. Dat be da integwity pawt.

Course integwity also means stayin’ twu to hoo we awe. Dat be purretty easy fur us cuz mommy hates lyin’ and fakeness. We hope to continue to be kitties you can twust and weez plan on workin’ hawd to purrove yous twust is not misgivin’. Of course we will continue hav fun and make those kinds of posties. But we also hope to bwing you more educational/infurmative posties as well. Me guesses ifin we wuz da kind dat made New Years wesolutions this wulda been ows. We don’t make wesolutions cuz more offen than not they get bwoken wiffin da furst kupple weeks, but we fink we can all stwive to be better. As long as you member to be twuff-ful in all you do and say and never furget dat weez all capable of learnin’ sumfin new (cuz nopawdy knows it all) then you be well on yous way to bein’ better.

 

They also talked ‘bout bwandin’. And how ow blog wuz ow bwand, and it’s what defines us. Da fings we post shuld match up wiff hoo we awe and what ow goals awe fur ow bloggy. One of da fings we be known fur is ow Blest Sunday posties and findin’ da good in fings and bein’ a pawsitiv furce. We weally like bein’ known fur dat, cuz there’s enuff bad and negativ fings in da world wiffout addin’ to it. We hope you continue to bear wiff us as we work towards makin’ ow blog one dat be innewestin’, worff da visit and full of integwity and most purrtant luv.

Wiffout you all visitin’ weadin’ and commentin’ this wuld just be a diawy. So we hope hope dat you will always be honest wiff us. And ifin you ever hav questions ‘bout us or sumfin’ weez written purrlease feel furee to ask. When we do ow educational posties we do a lot of wesearch afur sayin’ sumfin’ definitive, and we twy to always giv you a link to ow wesources, but we did learn dat purrhaps we shuld be notin’ those wesources at da end of ow posties also. So we awe gunna be better ‘bout dat in da future. Mommy sez dat we be a blest genewation cuz there’s so much infurmation available these days and it’s much easier to access it. We also learned we weally need a mentor. Hopefully weez’ll be goin’ to BlogPaws and we can find one there. Course mommy sez we can find one anywhere, and there be lots of peeps we weally admire and fink wuld be gweat mentors. But we also know it takes a lot of time and we don’t wanna impose on anyone. We know most of ya’ lead very busy lives, so ifin we evew get da courage to ask ya’ purrlease feel furee to say No. We won’t be offended or get ow feelins hurt.
