Hey, is anypawdy out there? It’s me, RaenaBelle. The colds are here. We went to bed last night with the air conditioner on and woke up as frozen pawp-sicles. Even mommy’s purrsonal summers didn’t keep her from shiverin’. She says that’s what happens at 17°. Even sissy got in on the cuddlin’.

Of course me did Raena. It was cold, what’d you x’pect me to do?

I’s don’t know sissy, you’re the one always complainin’ ‘bout me wantin’ to cuddle. You always meow that cuddlin’ with me makes you too hot.

Me wasn’t cuddlin’ with you Raena, me was cuddlin’ with mommy. You just happened to be in the same vicinity. MOL Anyways, me’s hopin’ mommy turns on the ‘lectric fireplace soon. Me luvs layin’ in front of it durin’ the cold ugly days of winter.

The ‘lectric fireplace? Is it new sissy? I’s don’t seem to ‘member a fireplace.

Nah Raena, it ain’t new. You purrobably don’t ‘member it cuz the lights burned out last year. But, mommy put new lights in it this year, so it should look fine now. We can enjoy the lights right along with it’s heat.

Well sissy, that does sound like fun. Altho’ I’s do purrfur cuddlin’ with mommy fur heat and luvs. I’s actually purrfur cuddlin’ with mommy over purretty much anythin’.

Yeah Raena, me knows. On another note, we need to tell everypawdy ‘bout the new treats we tried the other day.

Oh yeah, I’s ‘member those. We were really disappointed that the only option available was fish. We don’t get many treats in our house and we rarely get fish. But, since these were 1 ingredient only, mommy said we could try ‘em out. Turns out, we don’t like fish any more than mommy does. I’s didn’t even stick around to sniff the plate.

Well me did Raena. Me sniffed it several times. And then me sniffed yours. You know, maybe yours was better? Turns out yours wasn’t any better than what me had. Altho’ the pack we got didn’t have any chicken, we have tried the chicken purreviously and thought it was okay. Mommy thinks they’re a bit on the ‘spensive side.

MeOW Raena!!! The lawn crew’s here, why don’t you take the lead on today’s posty. Me has to go check UTB (under the bed) fur intruders. It’s time to Duck and Cover!!!

But sissy, it’s time fur brekky. Aren’t you gonna stay and eat your brekky?

Me will be back in a minute, so stay outta me’s plate. But you go ahead and tell everypawdy ‘bout those Wellness Kittles we got from Chewy this month. (Dezi slinks down the hall and under the bed. Raena stands in the middle of the hall and looks toward the door and then back at the bedroom bewildered. Mommy calls for the girls to ignore the lawn crew and come and eat their brekky. Dezi meows loudly) Me will be there shortly mommy.

(Raena goes to mommy but looks back for Dezi) But, sissy? Mommy, why does sissy hide so much?

I don’t know baby, but there’s nothing to be afraid of. Come on now, eat your breakfast and let’s get this post written, okay?.

We couldn’t wait to try ‘em out. but befur we get to the taste testin’, let’s see what Chewy says ‘bout the Wellness Kittles Grain-Free Duck and Cranberries recipe crunchy cat treats, 2 oz. bag.

Fanky fanks sissy. I’s do luvs me some duck, and these Kittles were a nice tasty treat. 3 paws up from me too. And yes, they come in 5 more flavors: Chicken and Cranberry, Tuna and Cranberry, Salmon and Cranberry, Turkey and Cranberry and Whitefish and Cranberry. Seems the Wellness peeps really like their Cranberries.

Treat Talk From the Ledge #ChewyInfluencer

(It’s late afternoon. Dezi and Raena are both napping the day away. Mommy gets up and goes to the kitchen and stands at the sink washing up Dezi and Raena’s brekky dishes. Both girls awake and run to the kitchen to keep an eye on mommy and await some “specials”. Mommy then moves to crush up some ice into snow for her cold drinks. Dezi, feeling impatient, gets up and walks over to mommy and squeaks out a meow. Raena follows suit and jumps from her perch atop the stroller and lands on Dezi.

Dezi hisses and and lets out a small low growl to which Raena ignores and runs to mommy. Raena stands on her back paws and stretches her front ones up on mommy and chirps. Dezi squeaks another meow and mommy says,”Just a minute girls. We’ll have some treats as soon as I get these ice trays filled, okay?. Both girls stand together intently watching mommy put the ice trays in the freezer and then run and jump up on the Liberty cat tree.)

(While waiting for mommy to get the treat container open, Raena jumps from ledge to perch, to ledge and lands on Dezi’s tail.) Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Stop jumpin’ on me Raena. Mommy’s not gonna give us any treats ifin you don’t behave.

Sure she will sissy. These are our Chewy review treats. She’s gotta let us have ‘em, so we can write a review.

Have you learned nuffin’ Raena? Mommy don’t have to do anythin’. Besides, me doesn’t like it when you jump on me. That just ain’t nice.

Whatever. (Raena jumps back down to her treat perch and waits) We’re tryin’ the Weruva Paw Lickin’ Chicken freeze dried chicken treats this month. They come in a 1.91 ounce tube, and are chunks of white breast of chicken. I’s know that doesn’t sound like much, but there’s quite a lot of bits and bites in that tube. That’s them behind me there. Isn’t mines paw adorable?

These are a one ingredient treat and are 200 kcal per tube. They are purrfect fur both cats and dogs or any other meat eatin’ pet you may have. They are mostly bite sized, but can easily be broken into smaller pieces. We don’t think in general they are dry enuff to crumble but there are a few pieces in our tube that might be. We do want to speak to the packaging fur a minute. As we said, these are in a cardboard tube with a plastic inserted type lid. Mommy broke a few nails over the holidays, and has some arfur-itis in her hands and fingers (all those years of piano playing and typing). Anyways, mommy did find them a little difficult to get open, and sprayed little chicken bites all over the place, the furst time. The more you open them, the easier it gets.

So, sissy, what did you think ‘bout the Paw Lickin’ chicken? I’s kinda liked ‘em. I’s do like a little bit of a smaller bite, so mommy had to break ‘em in half fur me, but they were purretty good. They’re not crumbly dry, but dry enuff that they don’t have much of a smell, so I’s kept losin’ ‘em. Did you know us kitties don’t see very well really close up? Not even our cross eyed meezer cousins. It’s true, that’s why we rely on our sniffers so much. Anyways, those that actually got in mines mouth deserve 3 paws up.

That’s pawsum Raena. Me’s so glad you like ‘em. As you said, they don’t really have a smell to them and me likes a smaller bite too. Me didn’t really care fur them. Thinkin’ it might be cuz of the dryness and smell issue, mommy added some water to soffen a few up fur me and added ‘em to mes dinner plate. Me ate ‘round ‘em and left them to dry up again. ‘Course me thinks you came along and ate ‘em up befur that happened. Me will give the Weruva Paw Lickin’ Chicken Freeze dried treats 2 paws up. One fur the limited ingredients and 1, cuz you liked ‘em. Not every kitty is gonna like everything.

Well, you walked away, so I’s figgered you was through. They were a little smellier and easier to find once they had been reconstituted. I’s been readin’ the dictionary. MOL Mommy says you used to like these fine, so we don’t know ifin there’s been a change on Weruva’s end or with you sissy; but as ya’ said, there’s no one purrfect purroduct fur every kitty. And as most of ya’ know, mommy’s followin’ dat trend. Whatever is healthiest and bestest fur us, her girls, she wants us to have. So we were all excited to try da Honest Kitchen Wishes. Now dat doesn’t tell you anythin’ does it? Let me ‘splain.

Now as they state there’s only one ingredient and dat is Haddock from Iceland. Iceland must have da lock on fishies cuz The Honest Kitchen has other treats from Iceland as well. But we tried da haddock, so let’s get on with da tastin’ and testin’.

Furst me must tell ya’ dat they look kinda like a graham cracker. They’re these fairly large thick wafers. Mommy says they are easily broken into smaller pieces which is a good thing cuz you all know me’s delicate little mouthy likes small bites. Raena’s gonna be just like me, so mommy went ‘bout breakin’ up a fillet. (Takes a bite and starts to chew) Mmmm well, it tastes purretty good. It’s really fish strong, but it is a fish fillet after all. Dat bein’ said, me wouldn’t mind a bite or two every now and then, but this isn’t gonna be one of me favorites. It’s a little on da extra dry side and actually stuck to me’s tongue. check it out.

They didn’t stick to mines tongue sissy. They wasn’t foolin’ me with dat fishy smell. I’s didn’t want to try it at all. Mommy must have chased me ‘round da house fur an hour with dat fillet in her hand. Hmmpht Didn’t she see da snub I’s had already given it? I’s picked up a piece with mines teefies and didn’t like what It felt like so I’s spit it right back out. Maybe ifin it had been shaved or somethin’. I’s don’t know, I just know I’s didn’t like it. I’s can give it a paw up fur only havin’ da one ingredient, and bein’ good fur both cats and dogs, but dat’s it.

Well Raena dat’s good enuff. Fanks. Me did think mommy looked funny chasin’ you ‘round and hollerin’, “Raena, c’mon, just try it. Raena, slow down. Come here and just try this yummy treat.” You know me doesn’t recall seein’ her try it at all, so how’s she ‘posed to know it’s yummy? Anyways, me gives The Honest Kitchen Wishes one paw up as well fur da one quality ingredient and bein’ good fur multi pet households. Mommy said she gave it a thumb up fur da same reasons.
