Me told ya’ in me’s last posty dat we’s honored to be pawrt of da Chewy.com blogging family; and dat we receive some great purroducts every month to try out and tell you all ‘bout. And me also told ya’ dat mommy had chosen our items based on what she thought each of us would like. Me knows sis Lexi isn’t here anymore, but she did get to try a great food this month dat me needs to tell ya’ ‘bout. As ya’ know sissy had gotten really picky this last year and mommy was always tryin’ to find somethin’ she would eat and dat was good fur her. So mommy chose da Natural Balance Delectable Delights Catatouille Stew Wet Grain-Free cat food fur sissy in purrticular and me to try. Now let me tell ya’ a little ‘bout these noms.
‘Course they are wet and come in a 2.5 ounce plastic tub; 12 to a case. They also come in a multitude of flavors and either stew or pate. Ifin kitty likes gravy, then da stews are da way to go. Most of da formulas are fishy. Mommy chose da Catatouille cuz we’s don’t really eat much fish here. Fur health reasons mommy doesn’t like us to eat fish, so we never really developed a taste fur it. Here’s what’s in da Catatouille:

Chicken Broth, Chicken, Chicken Liver, Dried Spinach, Natural Flavor, Modified Tapioca Starch, Green Beans, Carrots, Dried Egg, Pea Protein, Sunflower Oil, Tricalcium Phosphate, Calcium Sulfate, Choline Chloride, Tuna Oil, Salt, Guar Gum, Potassium Chloride, Taurine, Vitamins (Vitamin E Supplement, Niacin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Vitamin B12 Supplement, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Riboflavin Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Biotin, Folic Acid, Menadione Sodium Bisulfite Complex – source of vitamin K activity), Minerals (Ferrous Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Copper Amino Acid Complex, Sodium Selenite, Potassium Iodide), Magnesium Sulfate, Zinc Oxide, Thiamine Mononitrate).
It doesn’t have any carrageenan, so dat’s a plus, and it’s grain free. Sissy luvved da Catatouille. She liked it so well, me never got to try it. At da end it was all mommy kuld get sissy to eat, so me gladly gave her me’s tubs. She wuld be givin’ these an all four paws up. They are full of gravy so fur those of ya’ dat add water to kitties meals fur medical reasons, it’s purrobably not needed here. These meals are complete and balanced fur an adult cat. So what did mommy think ‘bout them you ask?
Well Dezi, I like that they are grain free and full of gravy. The pieces are small but there was plenty of chicken in each tub. They did contain a lot of vegetables as well, but as we said in your last review, that’s pretty normal in most cat foods these days. I was thrilled that Lexi liked them so much and would eat everything on her plate. They don’t contain carrageenan, but they do have tuna oil and guar gum. All in all, I would give these a thumb up. Even the ever pickier Lexi ate them up and I didn’t have to add water to make more gravy.
